Nice that my casual comment about flying to SK when (not if, mark that) the wedding occurs, has become a potential meet up for us! You are ofcourse welcome to join. I suddenly have a mental picture of BinJin walking down the aisle and it is blindingly beautiful.

Peeps, I was out most of the day and just checked in now. I'd just like to tell everyone how I appreciate EACH and EVERY post here. I think it will be good to remember that each of us have our personal opinions and we have different styles, considering also that we come from a variety of cultures and ages. And that's where the fun in all this really lie, that we could express ourselves freely and gather so much info and also learn from each other. The important thing is, we share the love for BinJin, that's our bond.

@Riritobinjin, is the 2020 interview you refer to the Metro one with HB? Oh that was so precious! Talking about Ye Jin ssii, even when the question was about his skin and hair, and that little laugh he gave with matching crinkling of his eyes, the guy is totally into her!
To add, i also like their couch interview. It was like a peek into their private world. It was as good as it gets.

Lee Jong-seok and Lee Jung-hyo. The Negotiation and Crash Landing on You directors, respectively.
If I were a reporter, these two are the ones I would like to sit down with for an interview. Not to ask any question on BinJin's relationship, as I am sure they will not answer even if they knew anything, but I find it also rather disrespectful to be asking a 3rd party about someone's relarionship. But rather, to ask them what it was like working with these actors, to recount any memorable moments during filming, their view on the successes of the movie and the series, etc.
Afterall the director of The Negotiation is the original BinJin shipper. He was with them in the early days so I am sure he has very good insights on the work ethics of BinJin. Then from what I've seen in the CLOY BTS, the director and all his staff seemed to have had a dream drama. The BTS showed thae filming ambiance to be relaxed and work flowed freely, from the initial script reading all the way to the wrap up party, you can sense the camaraderie of this work group.
I am sure fascinating conversations could be had with these directors.

Since we are on the topic of the 2019 Christmas IG post:
My first thought when I saw it was...ah, yes ofcourse CLOY was going on then that explains it. But then thinking more logically, if one were to post during Christmas in any social media platform, it would be with the person (s) who mean a lot to you. Then I find out the significance of posting couple pictures in Korean culture during this season. And seeing all of SYJ's Christmas IG posts over the years juxtapositioned alongside each other....it certainly is a significant sign that she have given us already.

Oh definitely! You know that video they have, complement each other, where they read fan comments along with their own and then they try to guess which complement is theirs? Am sure you've seen it, and on HB:"Do you have 2 nationalities? Korean and Heaven"? So spot on. HB is such a dream! HB + SYJ is bliss!

She doesn't age, I'm telling you.In fact, she even radiates more as she sashays her way towards the 40's. Good genes for sure, but I think it is also because of her fantastic personality that she will always appear youthful.

My gut feel is that BinJin will wait for the pandemic to subside, so like you, I am praying that we find a cure or vaccination for the coronavirus.
It is true that CLOY's popularity surged due to people being sheltered in or quarantined in their homes. Speaking for myself, I know I began watching CLOY mid January (before quarantine), but I was progressing painfully slow as i could only watch after a long day at work, with most of my days ending zombie-like. So I was lucky to finish an episode a week and by the time we had to quarantine, mid March, I remember being in episode 5, and the rest they say is history. This drama totally floored me! I had to rewatch it immediately after my first round, as I wanted to view it continuously and pay attention more to the actors and the character development, rather that reading the subtitles. And then I watched it a 3rd time and a 4th! And in the midst of all these, I had to backtrack and watch BinJin's previous dramas and films. What rock have I been hiding under all these years, that I did not even know that these 2 beautiful actors existed??
Watching kdramas in general, and falling in love with HB and SYJ in particular, was a sweet balm which helped eased the worries and anxieties of the pandemic. Reading this thread, sharing our thoughts, having delulu moments, etc is also a joy.
And if by chance BinJin decides to just register their marriage so that they can be together sooner, then I would still be ecstatic, as their happiness is our foremost wish.

@ElectricHearts, I would also not mind if HB recreates on stage playing on the piano Song for My Brother, with that amazing scenery by the lake in Switzerland flashing on screen. HB is a competent piano player. I remember watching him in the Taxi interview where he recounts how his mother saw to it that he runs through his Czerny 10x when he practices. Growing up he found it such a chore, along with his rigorous swimming classes, but as an adult he appreciates it. Thank you eomma, Mrs. Kim

@Riritobinjin, I think your post is insightful. I have similar feelings that it may be a while before BinJin shares with the world their big news. Both HB and SYJ strike me as very responsible people, attuned to what is happening to the world and considerate of the feelings of others. And by big news, I mean a wedding, as for sure we no longer need proof of dating. They are in love, clear as day.
Perhaps today's letter from Bin is an assurance that all is well in their world, and likewise a very geniune gesture, that he hopes all is well with us too. Combine this with Ye-Jin's IG likes from last week, they are telling us in the best possible way, that yes, our ship is still sailing ever so smoothly.
So we just need to continue being patient, my friends. Have faith. And pray that COVID will finally fade away through a cure or vaccination so that the world could be a bit more of how it used to be. Because, if BinJin's wedding bells toll, i will be on that flight to SK and totally fangirl!

Just my 2 cents worth and trying to stick to the facts only now:
They were seen grocery shopping and documented, thanks to a quick Taiwanese (?) fan. Their agencies finally acknowleged this by saying that SYJ was indeed in the US, alone, as she often is when she travels. HB's agency responded that he was in the US at that time due to personal affairs.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, it could be a coincidence, right? Then when each found out that they were both in LA, they decided to meet up. All totally plausible.
Now here goes the scrutinous portion:
I have travelled to the US myself on several occasions, both business and pleasure, both alone and with family. When alone, I do seek out friends living in the area. When finding out that a friend is also around in the same area, yes, I may end out meeting up with him too, why not?
The scenario when meeting up with friends who live in LA (such as the case here), it would likely be at their homes, a welcome dinner. If not, for sure at a restaurant, certainly more convenient rather than entertaining me in their homes.
Now if I do find out that a friend is also visiting LA at the same time and we would like to hook up, the obvious answer would just be to share coffee, drinks or a meal, in coffee shop, bar or a restaurants, right?
Granted that they are celebrities and might not really relish being spotted in a hip LA joint, then the grocery was an option?? Jinjja? But why did they buy so much and for whom?
And that I think is why IN GROCERY WE TRUST!
