- The story revolves around a group of young people. It will use some poetry, some dancing...
- Zhang Xiaotang (a rookie actress) will play as Arthur's sister. Sophie Zhang might be Arthur's love interest, but there's probability of a triangle with Wen Qi. Of course it's all speculations, since this is an original screenplay, not adapted from a novel.
- There's rumor saying the movie will likely go to theatres in China in the third quarter of this year.

I have to be honest, I'm quite the opposite. I'm not surprised there's no trailer, considering the continuous stream of leaks. At this rate, just like Ever Night 2 before, people can probably make a trailer out of those leaks. *sigh*
At the risk of sounding like a hater, the HYX fandom sometimes IMO contributed to the situation, like debating over leaked scenes, whether or not the drama will be faithful to the books, etc. This fandom has a very strong affinity to the book. Can you imagine if the producer released a trailer when they haven't done filming and the fandom dislikes the trailer, and causes bruhaha?
Also, speaking as a fan of Arthur, it's not unusual to have his project getting a trailer closer to its release date. Remember Ever Night and LoA? And even My Best Summer, it might have had several trailers, but they all came only a few weeks before the movie's opening.

I didn't check other stars' pictures from the event in details (only the ones posted on twitter) so I can't tell whether he had less pictures compared to the other stars.By the way, I coincidentally found about a Chinese writer named Bi Feiyu, whose first name has similar characters with Arthur's (毕飞宇). I looked up this writer's wikipedia: he's won several literature awards, has international reputation, and apparently has written the script of a Zhang Yimou's movie!
So now I'm wondering if Arthur's parents had named him after Bi Feiyu, because not only CKG is well-read, it's highly likely he (and Chen Hong) knows this writer in person.
Another thing: the wiki clearly states Feiyu means "one who flies across the universe". Which is why Arthur's fans are dubbed "little universe". But because "Yu" also means fish, many -- mostly int'l fans like us who depend on Google translate LOL -- just took it for granted.

Did he actually attend a Dior event, @tothestars? I haven't seen any mention about it.
I've started to think his relationship with Dior is deeper. He always promotes it on his social media. I know he's the brand ambassador, but I can't remember other actors doing that far for brands they represent. (Maybe I just missed them). But he's been with Dior for pretty long. They'd invested in him even before he became well known like now. And perhaps the staff always treat him like their little brother, so he feels comfortable with them.

Oh dearrrrr... he lost a SIZEABLE amount of weight! Not just that... dunno if it's only me, but his eyes don't have the sparkle either, and he looks damn tired. I hope after HYX is done filming, he'll be able to rest for a while before going back to school.

It's already covered by dramapotatoe. A staff beat a paparazzi who had thrown stones at the staff, and they had to delay the filming process :(. The staff was fired afterward.
Now, I don't condone violence at all. And the video (which @tothestars linked above) was gruesome. But the paparazzi throwing stones to the crew wasn't right at all!!! I think they now need to call for police protection.

Huh??? Never heard about any Arthur's fans disliking Luo Yunxi? Never heard his fans complaining or even commenting about his other co-stars before -- except perhaps Nana, but that was only very brief and IIRC that was just some annoyance of the excessive shipping?
And really, talking about his citizenship is really TIRING. Those people need to be creative and find new issues

Speaking about responsibility to "control" fans, I fail to see which things Arthur has to control in this case. I may somewhat agree to that notion in general terms, in the sense that he can voice out his displeasure if his fans have done destructive things. But what's the problem if some of his fans dislike LYX, so long as they don't do any damaging things to LYX? I'm sure there are also some of LYX's fans who don't care about Arthur at all. It's... normal. (Although of course I'd prefer everyone likes Arthur hahahah!)

Hmm, except for the rumor that he was trying to draw attention with his cryptic weibo/IG, I personally don't think the others are that bad, just dating rumors. And his cryptic messages -- he always did it on IG! Nothing new there.

Yeah, it looks like this account holder is trying to make clarification regarding some rumors about Arthur. From what I read using Google translation, the rumors seem to be:
- Arthur was going out with Ouyang Nana ("4 character actress" and later on there was a picture of her lol) on 20 June. (The account says crew confirms that Arthur was shooting on that date)
- Arthur has been acting intimately with Chen Yao in the shooting set of HYX, gifting her, etc. (The account says Arthur likes to DIY clothes, accessories etc and gift them to his colleagues and crew)
- Arthur has another movie coming up to start shooting in September. (The account debunks it. PS: I have read the rumor about the movie in a Chinese chat forum, but since there's no other places mentioning anything about it, I never shared it here.)
- Arthur's weibo, Oasis, IG content -- I think some people accuse that he posted pictures in HYX set or some inexplicable photos to draw attention. So this account underlines that Arthur genuinely loves Mo Ran, and he just wants to be a good actor.
ETA: the last para is quite sad to read eh? That Arthur may be silent all this time, but that doesn't mean he's not sad whenever he reads slander about him (and his friends & family).
I'm not sure how true this acct is, since it doesn't look like his official fanclub or his studio's acct. I've never read that rumor abt him going out with Nana on 20 June, either.

He's worn sweatshirts with "Collective Individuals" written on it, and I believe it's in the same collection with his "CHEN" shirts. This hoodie one seem to use the same font, so perhaps this too is from the same collection.
But yeah, it's not his usual style to post the same picture on Weibo and Instagram, right? You know, it's probably business, he's selling those shirts :))). Or maybe he's trying to convey a message: don't believe in everything you see ;-).

Eheehhehe.... sorry to disagree with you @zhxzhx and @Tashnat15. I think he has great chemistry with most of his female co-stars BOTH on-screen and off-screen. My Best Summer is indeed a teen romance flick, but his scenes with He Landou made my heart flutter. The on-screen chemistry lacked with Cheng Xiao -- but maybe as some others had said here, it could be accounted to her stiff acting.
If you also followed or read the EN1 forum, the majority was in agreement about his & Song Yiren's chemistry. I'm not saying that you're wrong if you don't feel it, though. The romance there is also based on the book. I personally root for Ning Que's pairing with Sang Sang, as I didn't see them as siblings -- but people growing up together, never even bothered to call each other "brother" or "sister" according to the tradition. (For comparison, see the difference in Legend of Awakening where Su Tang does call Lu Ping her "brother").
Lest we forget, despite his appearance, he was still a teen when starring in all those movies and dramas -- I don't think we expected an Adonis level of a love god or something, right?
I didn't realize he had been shipped with female actresses -- have only seen all those news and fanvids with Ouyang Nana, and a few with Yiren.
