    ep 35/36  Ringgg time ..our Wenbao is on the roll and going for it 100%. He wants kisses, he wants rings and he wants marriage ....I think our Xia is going to be pregnant on her honeymoon night lol . 

    Mi Ka is feeling lonely ...lonely in the quarantine, lonely at home ...and now even lonely when your guy has time to help others and she has to make a choice of short term separation or will it be long term angst.  

    Its the minor life decisions that build the strong foundation and I just realized how not just important, but essential for these two to be totally open with each other since their time together is on razor edge constantly. 

     

    4 more eps left....but watching the preview there is still spilled blood :(

    @SC2019 Dr Shao and KeYao...in retrospect I actually loved his decision ...She wanted him to ask her to stay, thereby putting her choices in his hands , and he did not want that .  I love this choice , equal partnership, equal and authentic responsibility :thumbsup:

    Wenbo and Xia have their own journey and I respect that too. Mind you I did laugh when she kicked him 'accidentally' in heavenly region ...in her own butterfly way she is feisty , she is adventurous and willing to try all the cake that life offers, but he is better cook , tire changer, photographer ...so at the end its that trust in life and go for a relationship even though it might look world apart.  

    To be a patient or a care giver/doctor , which is more demanding ...Mi Ka admits to her vulnerability and now Kelei is learning that lone wolf might be better by sharing .  ep 27&28

     

    In ep 29 & 30 ....I like how Mi Ka used the water bottle to show no shaking ...to me pictures and good examples are worth more than 1000 words

    ep 23 & 24  Our Capitan is quite sick :cold_sweat:.    

     Mi Ka finds out that her co-worker is not only a jealous bi#ch but a viscous one as well after she deleted important files .  Dr S confronted her immediately, I like that...and maybe I am not reading the situation clearly but she seems to be excellent in theory but failing in practice , or a coward .

     

    Captain Shu is in a dilemma and maybe he is a bit thick headed but the last time he took home a "city girl" it did not work out so this time he is being extra extra cautious and can't believe that such a beautiful and articulate butterfly would find him a suitable partner for life.

    I love the story, so grounded, I love the leads on their own and their chemistry. I love the side stories, they complement and not just another subplot.

    I love how the story progressed so far.

    I love watching Kelei watch over and love Mi Ka.

    I love how Mi Ka is noticing and starting to like Kelei as well.

    I love Keyao jie, not your usual sister in law.

     I Love your poem to them LOL :blush:  I totally agree with the almost realistic normality of this drama . They are such decent and honourable individuals and with their professions, their total dedication, constant training and studying ,  I can see them being exactly as they are and I would not change anyone or anything in this drama.   I am lucky, I get to see most of the c dramas that I watch twice, lol...once raw and once subbed.   I am not always 100% sure what reaches across the oceans and plays to my heart strings, but when it does I go for it and I adore them for the hours of happiness they provide. 

    I have to mention Dr. Shao here , what an amazing doctor and mentor. Contrary to some beliefs I think he immediately saw who performed the elevator surgery and continued to support Mi Ka with total professionalism and affection . Just love the guy.

I asked a friend who is proficient in Mandarin but she says it's not a common word and doesn't have any other known meaning. I suspect the name was chosen more for its sound? Well, if anyone with the background knowledge of this novel can answer this, then it would be great! I understand the author, Mu Qing Yu is someone who likes writing novels with the military as the context/setting.

    [ok, for those who haven't watched this, it's not a funny situation, she's holding a bomb with a pin removed and she is shivering in fear and the special forces soldier is trying to build rapport with her and to calm her nerves, but I really enjoy the brief conversation they had. It's witty and he really has a sense of humour while being able to make her understand what she needs to do in plain, simple, language.]

    What does Mi Ka kind of translate to ?

    @minglanfan2 LOL too bad they did not call us to write this drama , we would have definitely changed some things...

    I just finished ep 43 and feel totally betrayed by Awu .   After seeing raw43 and now subbed I was not too far off ..Awu what you did is no brainer baby , your cousin is practicing the same wares but with different type of monkey wine .  Your servants are pathetic...to the total stranger they tell exactly where the master is and that he even sleeps there .

    I love your suggestion here ...too bad he did not mention this brotherly solution to Awu .

    Just saw ep 42 and I am so ......  o..  :rage: at Awu . @26 she tells our Xioa Qi that since he did not have any family, how can he understand her devotion to the great  Wangs.   Lady, he has more family and honour then you will ever know. How fast have you forgotten hundreds of 'his family' lying witness in the chapel.  

    Your petulant accusation that he was spying on you is so beneath you that from now on if I was him I would stay away from you more often.

    Thank you @jacquelinetan I thought I was loosing my reasoning at this end.  When Awu danced for HeLanZ I saw  more passion then she exhibited with XQ . I too would like to see some clothes thrown  all around and XQ on her chest lol....sensual scenes come in all sizes and shapes and they can dance together if she does not want to do more au naturalle ...even that horseback ride together at the beginning had more connotation for me than 10 last episodes put together.....again I am harping back on the mating dance she choose to dance for HLZ ...I would have LOVED to see that dance between our couple not with some stranger .

    Just saw ep 42 & 43 in raw so I am only guessing here.  :open_mouth:  It seems to me that Wang women were into aphrodisiacs that night.. Awu used her body and dance as an aphrodisiac and the poor He Lan Z was almost dancing on his wooden ..leg in ecstasy . Her dance for let my people go seems to almost come true since 'her people' was busy raping her husband , who denied himself the ecstasy by slashing his arm.

    What ep is this in?  and why was acupuncture not considered sooner vs the meds with very serious/sterile side effects?  

     

    Until few days ago I too wanted them to have children and happy  go lucky life, but with him being a god father to hundreds of orphans and a big brother to hundreds of widows , that desire kind of paled a bit, especially when Awu did not even inquire /care to know the cause of her miscarriage , the aftereffect , her medicine . I know she is sympathizing and crying with HeLan for their mamas , and yet leaving her chance of motherhood totally in the hands of strangers , whether they be husband, nanny, servant, doctor (at least I don't remember seeing in any ep. If I missed , mea culpa)
