I am late watching this beautiful drama , but it got on "my top 3 for 2022" .... I loved both ML and FL and I loved how she is on fire
and starts blushing when she is close to him ....ah Amore -

37 & 38 /39 .....and they kissed and they hugged and they are flying . I loved these two episodes because they were more the genre of what I liked to see
but in every drama there are memorable scenes and my 3 favourites were :
1. The plane poster in the background and our pilot looking like million bucks at the bus station
2. Admiration from new female pilots and Capitan Gu introducing one of the most brilliant pilots
3. "What does the 4th bar mean ? ....professionalism, knowledge, technology and responsibility " Just beautiful.
From now on I will check out all the pilots and their bars LOL .....
I am not sure what tomorrow's episode will bring but this drama was very good (minus the mama eps LOL sorry ) and I am rating it as 8.7

35 & 36 /39 ......I know it is based on real life cases , but giving one case 10 episodes is too much ...ok maybe not 10 but it feels like I've been in the mental and legal swamp and too much like a soap opera . Still don't like her mama and to keep her accident a secret is a mental illness in both father and mother . Anyway , we have 3 eps left ...after dumping my emotions and thrill I have no idea if CX will ever have a love life.

ep 33 & 34 / 39 ..... Even though I did not get love and kisses in these 2 eps I did get satisfaction of knowing (and since these were based on true incidents) that if you sell you soul , even a tiny bit here or there , that compass needle will deviate from the flight plan . Maybe we needed this incident to show us their true selves ...but I read one of the comments on my watch platform that says her mother will find out it was her Mr J that did that landing where she got injured ....I am so petty sometimes , but I am soooooo looking forward to that if that is true LOL....... old lady if you did as much $hit for finding out and correcting any airline deficiencies instead of torturing your daughter ...yes I know mental health to this date is out of bounds , but I still say you could have done better .
Knowing that Capitan Gu has her back no matter what must give CX a bit of energy to carry on ...ok drama gods now please release us from this heavy and morbid lying and legal $...t so I can see what cities they will fly to together, their red picture , their life as a married couple with sky high profession .

I am assuming that CX does not know of her mothers 2004 accident /incident ...what was the point of hiding that information and instead of presenting her as a low life lunatic , a sick woman . Watching this drama I see that pigeon at the top of the pyramid all over the world can $hit on the perceived 'lower' pigeons....Jiayou my CX
added thought ...did Capitan Gu listen to the entire recording and how come his phone call to Capitan J did not play in that recording ?

29 & 30 .....our Captains are still
and outside world and other personnel took over and our love birds were barely seen ...few moments here few there but ...I want to see some good hugging and kissing in the next 9 episodes please, some pillows on the floor and maybe twins, one like mama and one like papa.

ep 27 & 28 / 39 ......
She is like steel magnolia, precise , concise ...one of the first to raise the ceiling and smash it actually ... I like the admiration that she received from the new female recruits because they recognize the beauty of optimal pilot .
The company dinner , something that should be eliminated on every continent and every country....they do not serve any purpose whatsoever and its something from the garbage bin that is still being touted as necessary....it is not and I don't like Mr Sun , slimy little ba$tard.
Mr Gu is being himself and yet there is change ...little bit of light here and there that gives me hope ...I am impressed with this writer , its called going for the gut ....Excellent Flight to You , thank you .

25 & 26 / 39 ....
. even with curtains down they knew that the other is one the other side ...our Capitan Cheng Xiao has moved house and seats .... truth bears fruit ...
it breaks my heart to see the maintenance guy's shoes and he is such a hard working team member .
Our Capitan CX is suffering but I think its Capitan Gu that will pay a high price too for being indecisive -in his private life only . What a kicka$$ performance in the staff meeting, CX is not hiding behind anyone or anything and as she said , everything she got she earned .
(Not sure about zig zag demotions promotions....accidents happened and they should definitely be investigated and corrected - yes they are expensive in manpower and human suffering and prevention and safety rules are the guiding principles but sick employee should not be penalized with a hedge-hummer on top of his suffering and sincere responsibility .)

compatibility love was their united safety presentation to the passengers ..they are phenomenal when they work together with equal commitment and passion.So why is our Capitan Gu not renting the place out?
They really know each other for a short time only ....one year + ? LOL 4 year landlord does not count but I will start remembering the scenes where I will catch him in a lie that he never felt anything that can be misconstrued

Remember when you picked her up few eps back and there was a plane poster behind her , and both her and the plane looked sleek , cool , super classy ...I think she scored there 100% and you needed to open the window baby
When CX was on the phone organizing the talk show and you just listened and looked at her 100%
3. Remember that scene how you got up so happy in the morning after the hand holding 100%

Can they really sit side by side day in and day out and ...you are in my work by not my life ? Phenomenal acting by Wang Kai and Seven ....(thank god I am not in their shoes )

ep 23 & 24 ... If anyone comes up with a formula to dictate to our mind, our heart and our soul , I will wait first in line and say yes please.
Packing our traumas , experiences and relationships over the years does not guarantee that we can leave them behind when the new day comes ( I remember it would take me months/years and to this day never get over separations from country, from loved ones, from partners and friends while some of my acquaintances were like changing underwear )
Mr Ni still remembers his poverty , his trauma during natural and man made disasters and Capitain Gu just hit his Rock of Gilbratar ....he just started blooming and the first strong wind threw him back to fear/loss/control cage .
The pain CX experienced at this rejection our 7
portrayed so well that I could feel my chest contracting with her breath, and I still love both of them for being authentic ( we might not like it but in life if we are lucky to experience a lot we also totally know where they are coming from and can only hope for more blessings for them )
I am in a quandary re Mr Ni....he knows that these two are in love , was he trying to push Capitan Gu to go for the gold and it failed ?

I love this stage of love in good C dramas ….the angst, the insecurities, the unknown and unpredictable, changeable, euphoric
.
I am elevating CX to the moon by ep 22 ( LOL I had her with the ‘cows’ originally but boy has she earned my respect, my love and admiration, my sincere appreciation …… intelligent , passionate and totally elite as a person and a pilot )
Ep 21 & 22 I laughed at Capitan Gu trying to keep his distance at the restaurant ( I wonder how CX explained Song’s absence from celebratory dinner )
Just few outstanding lines …ep 22 @21 …”No one is dating me ..Either you send me a boyfriend or let me join the safety plan” …. (she might not get along with her mama, but her negotiating skills are almost as good as her flying skills )

19 & 20 ... Both Gu Nanting and Cheng Xiao are proving to be cream of the crop and their work ethic is phenomenal...thank god there is a smart and progressive CEO; otherwise their hard work would have been wasted ...maybe not wasted because that spark that they sent flying through their information video will impact someone , somewhere and Mr J will be left with his own little balls of inability to view a larger picture of todays world .
GN's mom is amazing, she zeroed in that 'mothers' were not mentioned in the video as well as GN's single status and guilt/fear of new relationships.
Cheng Xiao's upbringing and iceberg size of her mother's fear /prejudice of air industry (she still takes the train only) was responsible in produceding the diamond that is CX , and GN polishing that diamond in turn started melting his own sub conscious traumas . Too bad that nowhere on this planet do we have a 'human' optimal support yet ...but with all the false structures/institutions/treaties falling down this year , the chaos that is asking all of us to be responsible for our own sustainable sovereignty , our own health/strength/dreams will test all of us to the max and we might not have a choice but to learn to' fly' with less fear and more confidence . I would not watch c-dramas if its not for love, romance , men and women dealing with daily relationships and different careers and choices ; however , its the authentic emotions and characteristics that give every drama that unique flavour and I remember them for something maybe simple and yet made my heart happy to be part of .
CX has changed so much and certain scenes that i valued in the 17 & 18 are maybe not romantic as much as crush for me ....did I mention before I love Capitan Gu's hands LOL , another scene was CX getting respect and recognition form the Doctor ..and that flight map just spells I love you

15&16....Our 7 is becoming more and more likeable and her relationship with Capitan Gu is promising ...they are working together and they might be denying the attraction and not looking for love , but the fates are throwing them together and they really are good for each other ...getting the shirt off his back has a new meaning now LOL
So the simulator shows 30 meters and Capitan J felt that he was right in just applying the brakes; however, the other plane was the one moving on to them , so even if he managed to stop 787 , the flight 3604 with failed brakes was still coming on to them and could have crashed into them 100%.. 7 turning the plane avoided that scenario 100% .

Wow end of 14...what a case for Capitain Gu to investigate .....so many suspects , so many questions?
x Flight 3604 ...I thought both pilots have the equal equipment and command , and why showing only one set of pilot feet/ brakes ? How did BOTH set of brakes fail? what was communicated to Air Control?
x Flight 787 Did Capitain J take his foot off his brakes? or he was instructing 7 to press her brake , meaning that his foot was not on the brake. He also took his eyes of the runway as well as the dashboard.
x The Air Control staff all get up to watch the show instead of supplying coordinates and possible direction for the sliding plane to turn left , right or flight 787 based on their speed /distance they should turn or brake ( I guess they can't tell the pilot what to do but they could have said 50 meters or something like that )
x Stewardess 1 ...why was she crouching in front of the passenger seat and gave him her WeChat?
x Stewardess 2 ... just because he is famous actor safety rules of seat belts was not enforced.
x Stewardess 3... when you are told to check all the toilets and seats you check . That booze bar in the plane open so anyone going to the toilet could slip in and play with drinks or food ?
Check mark >I could not find one in the menu ...Co-Pilot , our own FL prevented a crash . How did she know that brakes alone will not prevent the accident due to the distance or speed or or ??? This is a tricky situation do you follow your senior or do you as a co pilot have to make your own decision??? I think I can safely say that ep 15 and 16 will be a dream case for Capitan Gu's operational procedures manual.

13&14 ...I like when we are shown how just a little careless mistake here, little ignorance there, little panic here , little incompetence there leads to a crescendo of a big bang .
I have to go back and rewatch these two episodes again ...our entire staff from top on down will need some reflection...maybe my Capitan Gu is a very serious man, perfectionist and super responsible; however, without man like him I would think our daily lives would be just that much more chaotic and irresponsible .

Hi @hush puppy you know that I adore lol your reviews but I inherited two rescue kittens 2 weeks ago and this mama has her hands full ...if i sit down they let me know that is a no no .....so I have not fully started to watch this drama. From what I can see cinematography is beautiful and the story line sounds intriguing . I should fully watch every episode before making any comments , but after ep 1 when they swallowed the eggs and need to be re poisoned every 15 days , does this mean all of these first 11 episodes are condensed in the activities of that span of time? (apologies if this got answered in the drama already ) . If that is a case then this drama reminds me a bit Hyun Bin, The Fatal Encounter film and all assassins on the move .
