Considering the votes, I didn't bother w KSH #9 becoz he's not in top 3 for me, but I got curious and looked up

and realized that SHS is starting to follow in the steps of, well is actually ahead of the pace of, names like JJH and Gong Hyo-Jin. How many actors and actresses had Excellence and 2x Top Excellence prizes in the bag before turning 30 y.o?
I noticed Lee Je-Hoon got his first top excellence in 2014 also thru SBS and did very well this past year thru the movie "I Can Speak", which I recommend.
The point of my rant here is that in 2 short years since most of us here started hearing the name Shin Hye-Sun, she has now become a household name! And in terms of qualifications, many on the list of 9 men coming back this year, well, they are the ones rather under-qualified, so to speak, if I were the PD and was going thru their proverbial Korean 'specs' to match as a cast member across Shin Hye-Sun in a role!
So, yes, #1 and #9 will do, I see that they have some hardware to match my girl, so please proceed to the next level and wait. And yes, #6 and #5, too!! Bring the boyz home and line 'em up! Stand tall and look strong! Goddess Shin will look you over.

Boy oh boy now I remember why I never watch these - too long. Some parts were just ridiculous, like the segment about DaeSang psych hospital. There were many comments online saying they're enduring the agony in wait for SHS's winning something and because at least SHS was there throughout. Ditto for mee, but between all my running around with family stuff I caught about 50%.

I suppose that's the bargain they made with her this time, kind of like at Seoul Awards, to host/mc instead. That's the way the game's played, and I'm good with that - looking forward to how the SBS ceremony ratings will do head-to-head vs KBS.
She is nominated, LoL, for 'New Star Prize' along with this fella. I hope she concedes - he deserves it!

Without exaggeration, one of ❤️ the most wonderful works I've ever read ❤️ in these here parts more devoted to squealing than prose or poetry.
It's really quality stuff you've produced here (I am assuming Woojinberg's you) - what gets me is that it's so full of insider reference details about the actress Shin Hye-Sun and her story - just about all of which has been mentioned here in 112 pages on this thread, but how you weaved them so intricately and seemingly effortlessly - I am like, DaeBak....

Wow, SHS selected to be one of the voices for the 100th anniversary of the 'March 1st Movement' awareness campaign!
Starting January 1, 2019, there will be a campaign consisting of 3-minute '1919-2019, 기억․록', or "1919-2019, Remembrance" segments bringing to focus 100 of the historical people who made Korea what it is today.
Skater Kim Yun-Ah, Shin Hye-Sun, actor Shin Ha-Kyun, musician BewhY listed as one of 100 celebs as spokespersons, it says.
That she's listed at the top of the list is yet one more indication of the kind of love and trust our beloved actress is now enjoying from her S Korean public. Definitely a BIG DEAL in @meechuttso's humble opinion.
And this probably will mean that the 'Shin Hye-Sun diction' (신혜선 딕션) video will only get more hits, too.

So Seo-Ri lives as a 30-year-old with a 17-year-old's mind. And as she faces a world that demands the standard of 'adults' she feels confused. This Seo-Ri who faces belated growing pains could readily earn the sympathy of viewers. Because we all know well that 'aging' and 'adulthood' aren't the same thing. This Seo-Ri who, while her pace may be slower than others nevertheless makes plans within her abilities and lives steadfastly each day, day by day, relayed a message of hope for the viewers.
Shin Hye-Sun, who had to portray a '30 but 17' character in the story, shined brightly in her great effort. In real life, Shin Hye-Sun is the same age as Seo-Ri, too. While it must have not been an easy thing as a 30-year-old to channel a naive 17-year-old girl, she painted (her character) without any awkwardness. Then, too, the process of Seo-Ri's maturing little by little she very naturally depicted and earned popularity for the drama. Especially because in her previoius work KBS2's 'My Golden Life', Shin Hye-Sun had portrayed the first daughter Seo Ji-An full of sense of responsibility, her face (what she showed) in '30 but 17' seemed all the more different (new/fresh). Having thus completed her first mini-series starring role since debut, Shin Hye-Sun, through '30 but 17 I am' received the '2018 Asia Pacific Star Awards - APAN Star Awards - long-running drama series top excellence actress award, received affirmation (acknowledgment) for her acting abilities.

I second this. We are all so greedy for SHS to clean up every prize at every nomination at every award ceremony, but S Korea is so full of popular actors and actresses, just being mentioned alongside them is an honor. Most likely they are dropping hints by announcing her first, then having determined that she would indeed be one of the awardees, they then announced LJH who'd also already been selected as the 3rd MC, but by doing it this way it probably brings more viewers for both reasons - anticipation of her prize and the celebrity MC couple visuals. I couldn't be happier.
Just need to wager on the color of her evening gown - maybe 2 or more gowns, hmmm? So far the response to her next project is tepid, lukewarm at best. I've always been curious if actresses get to keep somenof the jewelry they wear on screen especially if they are spokesperson for the merchandise items. @immorethant I think it'll air some time on Jan 5th - we have to just check the first link to see if they keep adding new videos updated online - it'll probably be aired during prime time on MBC TV, but each will be 3-minute segments, with little celebrity comments. Because there are 100 celebrities lined up for the 100 people to be remembered (the 1st one with Kim Yu-Na said they want to remember the no-named / unsung heroes of the March 1st movement), I believe there will be more than 1 per day - 60 days or so till March 1st, and also probably aired throughout the month of March, if I had to venture a guess.
