Thank you all my friends here, especially @immorethant and @kokkuri33 and @mylovekge @sunshine92 @Ni Wen and everyone else too, for all the wonderful posts and news and keeping this beautiful place also a most warm and lovely and welcome place for all Shin Hye-Sun lovers around the world. Welcome back also to @golden19 who I see has been liking many posts. My busy season in RL has me gasping for air, but it's so heart-warming to see that the thread is in much better hands now - I think I should snooze myself more and see how much more it flourishes.
But who am I kidding? Time available or not, I can't help but post a few pics. I've only watched the first runs of the HoD and haven't had chance to rewatch or memorize any of it. One thing that stands out to me is how well the director and the casting team knew Shin Hye-Sun the actress and what an amazing job they did in each and every scene to bring out something deeper and unprecedented from her in a way that I am sooo grateful for. I mean, just look at these stills (all image credits to dcinside fans).

It makes one wonder when her name came up in association with this work, whether LJS himself had strongly influenced the casting decision and how many scenes and lighting and costumes were 'custom' fit around this actress. I want this same crew working on oori Shin Hye-Sun's future projects! These shots are such feast for your eyes, and any one of them is just so perfectly captured (along with her absolute knock-out portrayal in each scene, goes without saying of course), that each is a separate gem that can be held up to a bright light and scrutinized, admired for all their facets of stunning and glorious sparkling and stunning beauty - lost for words....
I am so grateful for these having been captured for all time, so we can show our children also, and they are of such high quality that she would always look fresh and her performance absolutely timeless. LoL, getting a bit carried away, I know.

The ending was most abrupt, like death itself.
Wow, episode 3 was nearly perfect. I wanted more of her singing, was all.
Put together as a whole, these 3 brief, subtle and understated, even somewhat spartan dialog episodes with very little fat, brought so much focus and attention to the raw magnificence of the beauty of Shin Hye-Sun the actress and of course to the artist and flawed human being Yoon Shim-Duck, that I can't imagine a better way to have presented this deeply tragic tale.
Bravo to Shin Hye-Sun. This work will stand the test of time. She should be so proud of it.
And I am so proud of her yet once again, feeling so privileged to be watching her now, truly moved by this experience and not as mere entertainment.

Thank you guys, for all the updates and beautiful sentiments for our girlcrush.
I found ep 2 quite subdued and a pall was hanging over the whole story, as it should. Overall I loved the understatedness and the minimalistic approach to the story-telling, juxtaposed with Shim-Duck's fabulous frilly dresses and couture overall. Definitely a gif bonanza for sure. But that will have to wait for my RL to let me breathe....
So happy to see so many facets of this gem of an actress each day.

Took time out of work to find a stream live.
Never has Shin Hye-Sun glowed radiantly like this on screen.
Every scene she sparkled and gleamed and took my breath away.
I am astonished at her genius. Her continually surprising new revelation with each new work she takes on.
Her Japanese, too, sounded wonderful to my ears.
Move over, Go Ae-Shin, here's Yoon Shim-Duck who slays us with her vocal cord.

This is the first time that I noticed Netflix will air SBS new drama (normally it aired new dramas from TVN/JTBC cable channels or just showed 2-3 years old dramas from major broadcast SBS, MBC).

As for what's great about the music video news, both the actor Kim Dong-Wook and the group Gee-Oh-Dee (as they are known) are some of South Koreans' favorites (in a somewhat nationalistic but in a good and wholesome kind of way) and her work with them represent another heightened level of popularity class she's entering into, among the 30-40 year-old audience. I would love to see either/both KDW and Yoon Kye-Sang (successfully transitioned as the actor from the GOD group - he was excellent in 'the Good Wife') in future pairing with our Asia's finest actress.

YNK acknowledges now that they have received the proposal and are considering it, but have NOT taken up the offer, certainly not yet.
YNK: "It is correct that SHS has received proposal as female lead for "Daan, One Love", "In the process of review and nothing confirmed", they revealed.
That's it. Everything else seems to be opinions, but however they're going about this process seems a bit amateurish. It's also true that they have softened on the previous reply where they seem to completely deny/dismiss it as untrue. Now they're at least not saying that.
Won't translate anything else for now.
