  4. @Sakurafairy thanks for sharing this. Can't wait to hear their duet song in their upcoming movie 'Wonderland'! Park Bogum shared insights into this, "It was a scene created the day before shooting. The director suggested, 'How about (you and Suzy) singing together? Want to try writing the lyrics?' So, after finishing the shooting that day, I went to my room and played the ukulele while writing the lyrics, and then sang it together with Suzy the next day."
  5. DKZ's Jaechan Plots To Run Away From Home In Order To Hide A Secret In "Bitter Sweet Hell" DKZ’s Jaechan has dished on his upcoming MBC drama “Bitter Sweet Hell”! “Bitter Sweet Hell” is a black comedy starring Kim Hee Sun as Noh Young Won, the top family psychiatrist in all of Korea. When an anonymous blackmailer puts her career and family at risk, Noh Young Won teams up with her mother-in-law Hong Sa Gang (Lee Hye Young), a mystery novelist, to protect their family. Jaechan will play the role of Choi Do Hyun, the teenage son of Noh Young Won and her husband Choi Jae Jin (Kim Nam Hee). An overachiever with good looks, good grades, and good manners, Choi Do Hyun is impressively mature for his age and faithfully manages to pull off the rigorous schedule his mother has decided for him. However, when this seemingly perfect son winds up with a secret he can’t tell his family, he makes up his mind to leave home in order to hide it. Jaechan revealed that he himself became so engrossed in the story of “Bitter Sweet Hell” that he always looked forward to receiving his next script. “Whenever I received a new script, it was always so interesting and fun to read,” he recalled. “To the extent where after I finished reading a script for one episode, I would always wait eagerly for the next script to arrive.” As for his approach to the role of Choi Do Hyun, Jaechan remarked, “It seemed like he’s more honest and genuine than you’d expect, and he has a simple and straightforward personality. So while I was acting, I tried not to overthink or complicate things.” “When faced with a given situation, I spent the most time pondering, ‘What kind of expression would Do Hyun make here, and what kind of tone of speech or actions would he use to get through this situation?’” he continued. “Because I gave my all while acting, I’m really looking forward to seeing [the drama], so I want to watch it as quickly as possible.” As Jaechan is now in his twenties, he noted with a laugh, “After putting on a school uniform for the first time in a long while and looking in the mirror, I was relieved because I thought, ‘Fortunately, I might still be able to pass for a high school student.’” In terms how he prepared for his role from a styling standpoint, Jaechan shared, “Because Do Hyun is a model student, I kept my appearance neat and clean-cut while filming, without loosening my uniform necktie or undoing any of my jacket or vest buttons. I also tried to keep my hairstyle neat.” Finally, Jaechan couldn’t say enough good things about his experience working with his famous co-stars. “I was [initially] very nervous at the thought that I’d be able to work together with such famous senior actors,” he said, “but everyone was so warm and took such good care of me, so I was very grateful.” Jaechan went on to give specific examples, recalling, “Kim Hee Sun gave me chocolate as a gift, which I posted about on social media. At [the cast] dinner after our first script reading, Kim Nam Hee called me ‘son’ and took care of me. After I rapped for Lee Hye Young, I don’t know if she practiced it, but she later rapped it back to me. It was a truly special and precious moment for which I was very grateful.” “Bitter Sweet Hell” will premiere on May 24 at 9:50 p.m. KST. https://www.soompi.com/article/1660400wpp/dkzs-jaechan-plots-to-run-away-from-home-in-order-to-hide-a-secret-in-bitter-sweet-hell

  8. *** Time flies so fast that it seems "Blood Free" has just begun. The drama completed its 10-episode run with lots of blood. I’m really not a fan of open endings since there isn’t a definite conclusion to the narrative. It’s evident that both Ja Yoo and Chae Woon survived with whatever cultured organs and AI technology Blood Free created. The open ending leaves Disney Plus the option of a second season, and I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing Joo Ji Hoon reprise his role. The plus points were the sleek action and cool CG. Of course, the biggest plus for me was seeing Joo Ji Hoon fighting in a suit and slick hairdo, which made my watching more fun. photos source : https://breathlesssurvival.wordpress.com/2024/05/09/open-ending-blood-free/

  10. True, the death was actually an accident, when they knocked out Hye Won, the housekeeper tried to run, and Hye Ji's henchman grabbed her, she then stabbed him with a pen, and Hye Ji then grabbed her from behind and she fell hitting her head. Clearly it wasn't planned as Hye Ji can't believe shes dead and actually seems shaken by it. The housekeepers daughter had already been bought off, and they used her to testify that Hye Won kidnapped her mother, thus framing her for the death - the daughter then fled the country Yeah, Hye Won will walk off with Chad Oppa - Maybe Goofy ML and San Duel will get a gf too, but I think its a safe bet that this drama will end with Hye Ji dying - Hye Won ( except for 1 dream sequence ) has been nothing but hateful for 78 straight episodes, so even though the Writer/PD-nim is a story twist master, I don't think there's any way they're going to bring things back together for the sisters in just 22 episodes. Or she could just go to prison for 40+ years like Goofy ML was speculating in todays episode. Either way, I don't see any reconciling. Its not "per" me ... did you watch without subs or something? She lays it all out to everyone in the room what her sister had done to her, and why she joined forces with Hye Ji. Third Marriage?

  15. I thought it might be slapstick when I saw the poster with her as some sort of bikie. I have seen her in a couple of shows, and don’t remember her saying or doing anything humorous, intentionally that is. Sometimes a character is supposed to be feisty, spunky but they end up being comedic. I am waiting for a revenge.

  19. BTS' RM to prerelease 'Come Back to Me,' music video directed by Lee Jung-jin of 'Beef' ByBBy SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- RM, the leader of K-pop superband BTS, will unveil "Come Back to Me," a prerelease track from his upcoming second solo album, this week, the group's agency said. The song will be released, along with its music video, at 1 p.m. (Korean time) Friday, two weeks ahead of the album's release, BigHit Music said in a release. It would mark the first release from the BTS leader since his first official solo album "Indigo" in December 2022. The agency introduced "Come Back to Me" as an indie-pop genre song that explores thoughts about right and wrong, the main theme of the album, "Right Place, Wrong Person." The music video was directed, produced and written by Lee Sung-jin, the Korean American director of "Beef" (2023). The Netflix original series won multiple awards from three major Hollywood guilds earlier this year. Also among the crew are Ryu Seong-hie, an art director known for "The Handmaiden" (2016), "Decision to Leave" (2022) and Kim Woo-hyung, the cinematographer of "Assassination" (2015) and "1987: When the Day Comes" (2017). Actor Kim Min-ha joined the cast with RM. Oh Hyuk of the band Hyukoh was credited as the producer of "Come Back to Me," where Kuo of Sunset Rollercoaster, a five-piece Taiwanese band, joined on the guitar and bass sessions. Singer-songwriter JNKYRD and San Yawn of the band Balming Tiger participated in writing the song, while RM penned its lyrics. Following the prerelease of the song, RM will roll out the 11-track album on May 24. Although the rapper is currently serving in the South Korean Army, he was able to film music videos for nearly half of the album's 11 tracks before his enlistment in December, according to BigHit. "RM showcased collaborations that transcended the boundaries of music and art in his first solo album 'Indigo' in 2022 and will also show collaborations that break down the boundaries of art in his new album, which will be released after one year and five months," the agency said. ctto
  20. Cha Eun-woo shares story of being recruited as teenager, school photos Actor Cha shares glimpses of his youth on 'You Quiz on the Block' By KTimes Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo charmed and amused viewers during his appearance on the tvN show "You Quiz on the Block," where his childhood photos were also revealed. During the popular talk show broadcast on May 8, where he met hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho, Cha expressed feeling nervous about being back on a variety show after a long time although it has been nine years since his debut. During the show, Yoo asked Cha what his family calls him at home, to which he replied, "My dad calls me 'our son,' and my mom calls me 'Cha-star' when she talks to me on the phone." Yoo continued to ask which parent he resembles more. Cha humorously shared that his dad claims he looks 90 percent like him, while his mom used to disagree, but now she doesn’t comment on it. Jo added a personal anecdote, mentioning he once saw Cha's parents by chance at a barbecue restaurant and noted that both were exceptionally attractive. A childhoold photo of Cha Eun-woo / Captured from tvN Reflecting on his childhood, Cha mentioned his mother was very strict but now seems much more youthful. Interestingly, he revealed that in an attempt to keep him humble, his mother would tell him he wasn't handsome, contrasting Jo’s mother who proudly declares him the most handsome. This prompted Yoo to contribute to the light-hearted atmosphere by saying his mother never complimented his looks, nor had he ever called her beautiful, drawing laughter from everyone. Yoo mentioned to Cha on a recent episode of "You Quiz on the Block" that his younger brother has been a hot topic online after photos of him were shared. Cha explained that his brother is a student abroad, majoring in journalism and broadcasting at a university in China. Yoo suggested that he might become a producer in the future, to which Cha replied that his brother is still exploring his options. Cha also said that his brother occasionally expresses a desire to outshine him. A photo of Cha Eun-woo in his younger years. Captured from tvN Accidental entry into entertainment Cha reminisced about his ambitions during his childhood, revealing he had aspirations to become a professor or a doctor. He was academically successful, ranked third in his entire school and was also a student council president. He was also athletically inclined, serving as captain of both the basketball and soccer teams. Interestingly, despite his impressive school record and athletic participation, he had not received any offers to enter the entertainment industry. He shared that he was darker skinned and chubby in his youth due to playing soccer without sunscreen and enjoying food. However, photos from his school days showed he hasn’t changed much. Cha's entry into the entertainment industry was quite accidental. He was scouted by an agent while attending a private physics academy and was initially skeptical, thinking it was a scam. However, he decided to attend the audition after his physics teacher encouraged him to seize the opportunity. He confessed that his early days as a trainee were challenging due to constant criticism and self-doubt, but his persistence over three and a half years taught him patience. Jo humorously noted that even if Cha had become a teacher, he would have been known as "the handsome teacher," while Yoo added that Cha would have likely appeared on "You Quiz" even if he had pursued a career as a doctor or a teacher. Cha, who recently received acclaim for his performance in the MBC drama "Wonderful World," discussed his experiences acting in dramas based on webtoons. He expressed gratitude for the praise he receives for his looks and shared that he has resolved to continue working hard and with determination, believing that his efforts will eventually be recognized. credit : Korea Times https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/art/2024/05/398_374373.html
