Kim Dong-wuk to comeback with upcoming JTBC drama "Servants"

Actor Kim Dong-wuk chose "Servants" as his comeback drama.

According to several sources, Kim Dong-wuk was offered a role in the new JTBC drama "Servants".

Kim Dong-wuk was offered the role of Eun-gi, a man who has everything from intelligence to looks. He is the chosen groom for Eun-ki, the female lead and forms a rival route with Moo-myeong (Oh Ji-ho).

Kim Dong-wuk was discharged from National Service on the 29th of May. This drama is his first comeback in 3 years.

"Servants" is the story of slaves in the Joseon times and a modern historical about the one who overcomes status. It's being class-directed by Jo Hyeon-tak and written by Jo Hyeon-kyeong.

Laughter never ends on the filming set of "Maids".
JTBC revealed behind-the-scene stills of "Maids", which is the third Joseon historical drama following after "Queen Insoo" and "Cruel Palace - War of Flowers".
Pictures show Oh Ji-ho, Jeong Yoo-mi, Kim Dong-wuk, Lee Si-ah, Lee I-kyeong, Jeon So-min and others who will be leading the story. They are all laughing merrily.
The drama takes place in various places including the city and the outskirts. The cast is showing off amazing teamwork and laughter never seems to end. However, when the camera starts rolling everyone puts their game faces back on and gets serious into work.
Apparently there are many emotional scenes in the drama and they require high concentration but the cast have no trouble at all. They are all so greatly affectionate about the drama and are doing their best.
Meanwhile, "Maids" is a love story between young men and women in a time of class and status. The first episode can be seen on the 12th of December at 9:45PM.

Actor Kim Dong-wook, who was discharged from military service this May, decided to star in movie “Three Summer Night,” according to the movie officials on Monday, August 18.

“Three Summer Night” is a black comedy film about three men who drink on a weekend and make troubles. Besides Kim, Lim Won-hee, Son Ho-joon, Shim Eun-jin, and Ryu Hyun-kyung will also appear in the movie.

The movie will be directed by director Kim Sang-jin of “Attack the Gas Station (1999),” “Jail Breakers(2002)” and “Pitch High (2011),” and is slated to be released next year.
