*** Jung Il Woo and Yuri in The Village Shop. They cook lunch together. We can get to see the familiarity and easy rapport. They have obviously gotten tons closer since Bossam – She calls him Pabo when he bumps his head on the doorframe. (pls see picture below) (Pabo) means fool or stupid…They have gotten much closer… They genuinely looked so at ease together. Their chemistry is just wonderful. They look so happy in each other’s company.

*** The second segment of Yuri’s visit to "The Village Shop" continues to reveal the wonderful chemistry between them with JIW . We can see that he offers her a chunk of abalone and tells her to try it. Thus, feeding her - She pats his shoulder and compliments his cooking. Some couple of selfies....... So NICE to see they filmed this together…

Jung Il Woo Tests Positive For COVID-19

Jung Il Woo Tests Positive For COVID-19

Actor Jung Il Woo has been diagnosed with a breakthrough infection of COVID-19.

On February 3, there were reports that Jung Il Woo had taken a PCR test for COVID-19 and that the results had come back positive. It was reported that he had been infected on the set of “SNL Korea,” which he filmed last weekend. One of the production staff of “SNL Korea” tested positive after the filming. Jung Il Woo noticed that something felt off about his body since Monday and went to get tested. The actor has had three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, meaning that this is a breakthrough infection.

Later, Jung Il Woo’s agency, 9Ato Entertainment, confirmed, “Jung Il Woo tested positive for COVID-19 on February 3. After completing filming for ‘SNL Korea’ on January 30 and 31, he was contacted about a positive case among the staff and went to get a PCR test. On February 3, he received the positive results. He has had three doses of the vaccine, so he does not have any major symptoms.” The actor has canceled his upcoming schedule.

Coupang Play, which airs “SNL Korea,” confirmed that this week’s recording has been canceled and that Jung Il Woo’s episode, which was scheduled to air on February 5, would not be broadcast. The rest of the cast, crew, and guests have been tested and will follow the guidelines of the disease control authorities.

Wishing Jung Il Woo a speedy recovery!

22 K-Drama Superlatives From 2021

The year 2021 was very special as it brought along a lot of worldwide recognition when it came to K-dramas. Through various streaming outlets, there came a wave of new K-drama fans and lots of new shows. With all the K-dramas that we were blessed with, here are 22 K-drama superlatives from 2021.

Disclaimer: K-dramas that premiered in December of 2021 or later were not included in the feature.

And the rest is history

This year had its fair share of epic historical K-dramas with epic romances. Seeing our favorite stars in hanboks with the beautiful backdrop of a history is so enchanting. Viewers were moved to tears, heartbreak, and butterflies in their stomachs as the OTPs all showcased such beautiful romances.

Bossam: Steal the Fate

Jung Il Woo plays a mysterious rogue by the name of Ba Woo, who kidnaps Princess Soo Kyung (Kwon Yuri) by accident. The two start off despising each other for valid reasons but quickly start to fall in love with each other. They find solace in how many similarities they actually have.

The enemies-to-lovers trope is always a pleasure to watch. Seeing Jung Il Woo and Yuri’s chemistry slowly build is so romantic. There’s a reason why the series had the highest drama ratings in MBN history! There is also quite a bit of action, which kept viewers on the edge of their seat.

6 Korean stars who suffered from serious illnesses that changed their lives

Korean celebrities are humans, too, and they’re prone to illnesses, just like everyone else. In the past years, a number of them were revealed to have been diagnosed with medical conditions which resulted in their hiatus in the industry.

Fortunately, they were able to receive immediate treatment and therapy.

6. Jung Il Woo

During the press conference for the K-drama Haechi, Jung Il Woo mentioned the most difficult challenge he faced was being diagnosed with cerebral aneurysm at the age of 28. This life-threatening illness prevented him from going out and ultimately caused his anxiety and depression. At the same time, Il Woo shared that he was also able to change his outlook: “You only get one chance at life, so I wanted to make the most of every day. I realized that it is okay to enjoy life and comfortably show people who I really am.” The actor has come a long way after his diagnosis .

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri In Talks To Reunite With “Bossam: Steal The Fate” Co-Star Jung Il Woo In New Detective Drama

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri may be reuniting with Jung Il Woo, her co-star from “Bossam: Steal the Fate”!

On March 18, Yuri’s agency SM Entertainment shared with Xportsnews, “Kwon Yuri is positively reviewing her appearance in KT Seezn’s new drama ‘Good Job’ (literal title).”

KT Seezn’s “Good Job” follows the detective investigations that unfold when chaebol detective Eun Hyun Ki meets the nosy Han Seol Lok who has super vision. Yuri has received an offer for the lead female role as Han Seol Lok.

Currently in talks to play the lead role of Eun Hyun Ki is none other than Jung Il Woo, Yuri’s recent co-star from MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate.” As the MBN drama was of the historical genre, viewers are anticipating a modern-day reunion for the pair.

Earlier this month, Yuri was also confirmed to star alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo in Disney+’s upcoming variety program “The Zone: Endure to Live” (literal translation).
