Once again, the popular actors Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy are set to star in a romantic drama, much to the delight of their fans. The duo, who previously appeared together in the heartbreaking Uncontrollably Fond, are now set to reunite for a new fantasy romantic comedy titled Everything Will Come True. 

 

As per reports, the upcoming Korean drama will be penned by the renowned writer Kim Eun Sook, known for her work in series such as Secret Garden, The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin), Mr Sunshine, The King: Eternal Monarch and The Glory. The series will be directed by Extreme Job and Be Melodramatic fame, Lee Byung Hun.

After starring in My Dearest, Ahn Eun Jin's next K-drama project will possibly be from The Glory writer, Kim Eun Sook.

On November 27, media outlets revealed that Ahn Eun Jin will be joining Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy in the upcoming K-drama Everything Will Come True. 

Ahn Eun Jin's agency UAA responded to the casting reports and shared, "Ahn Eun Jin did receive the offer and she is positively considering it."

Netflix announced that production for All the Love You Wish For (previously All Shall Come True) is well underway, releasing stills from the drama’s first script reading with our opposites-attract main pair: Kim Woo-bin (Black Knight) and Suzy (Doona). It’s been almost eight years since the actors previously starred in a melodrama that I refuse to mention and I beseech the drama gods to deliver only fluffy rainbows with this new fantasy rom-com.

Our hero is the ~magical~ genie played by Kim Woo-bin, who has been sadly hidden and trapped inside his lamp for what must be more than a thousand years. Understandably, our slumbering beauty is an exploding ball of emotions once he’s finally awoken and greets his now-master in present-day South Korea.

 

Enter Suzy in the role of Ga-young who – in contrast to Genie – is described as a jaded and emotionless character. Although discovering the lamp is a stroke of much needed fortune for our heroine, it’s also a curse for Genie as he’s bound by the rules of his lore to grant three wishes to his current master. I expect we’ll be getting some hanky-panky development as well once Cupid’s arrows start flying in both directions.

Rounding out our story’s world with an ensemble cast, the series also stars Ahn Eun-jin (Goodbye Earth) as Ga-young’s puzzling roommate Mi-joo, who seems to be hiding her real identity. On Genie’s side, Noh Sang-hyun (Soundtrack #2) plays his rival and brother Soo-hyun, a building owner and man of suspicious wealth.

Thankfully, though, our OTP do have people they can trust with Go Kyu-pil (Frankly Speaking) playing Genie’s confidante Sade – whose true form is a jaguar – and Lee Joo-young (The 8 Show) in the part of Ga-young’s only friend and bestie Min-ji.

“All The Love You Wish For” is a fantasy rom-com about an overly emotional genie (Kim Woo Bin) trapped inside a lamp and the woman (Suzy) who helps him escape his prison. The drama is penned by Kim Eun Sook, the famous writer known for hit dramas such as “The Glory,” “Goblin,” “Mister Sunshine,” and “Heirs,” and it is helmed by director Lee Byung Hun of “Extreme Job” and “Melo Is My Nature.”

Back in February, it was reported that Song Hye Kyo would be making a special appearance in the drama, marking her first in 28 years since her debut.

Lee Jong Suk made a sweet show of support for his friends and former co-stars Suzy and Kim Woo Bin!

On August 31, both Kim Woo Bin and Suzy took to Instagram to thank Lee Jong Suk for thoughtfully sending a coffee truck to the set of their upcoming drama “All The Love You Wish For” (working title).

In addition to sharing photos of themselves posing with the truck, both stars referenced their past dramas with Lee Jong Suk, who famously starred in “School 2013” with Kim Woo Bin back in 2013 and “While You Were Sleeping” with Suzy in 2017.

Referring to Lee Jong Suk by the name of his “School 2013” character, Kim Woo Bin wrote, “Thanks, Nam Soon.” Suzy adorably followed suit by calling Lee Jong Suk by the name of his “While You Were Sleeping” character, writing, “Thank you, Jae Chan.”
