Kim Yoon Seok and Yoon Kye Sang are in discussion to work together for the latest K-drama titled "In The Forest with No One."

Several new k-dramas are reported daily and another star-studded one will be added to the list. 

According to several media outlets On November 3rd, Kim Yoon Seok and Yoon Kye Sang will be in one K-drama soon. In particular, this will be the return of Kim Yoon Seok to the drama scene after 16 years. 

"In The Forest with No One" will be directed by Mo Wan Il, the person behind the great dramas "The World of the Married," "Misty," and "A Beautiful Mind."

The upcoming series will depict the story of Sang Joon, who manages a motel in the province in the summer of 2000, and Young Ha, who ran a pension alone in the forest in the summer of 2021. The story will revolve around the same season, similar events, and two men at two different times. The two made a difference choices but they will still get intertwined. 

Kim Yoon Seok got the offer to play the role of Jeon Young Ha. He decided to take over a pension in the deep forest with the use of his retirement pension and bank debt. His quiet life in the forest will be shaken by a mysterious guest.

Meanwhile, Yoon Kye Sang will possibly play the role of Sang Joon. He decided to acquire motels in the provinces after the IMF crisis. His ordinary days will be shaken after an incident occurred.

There is no official release date yet for "In The Forest with No One." 

 

 

Before Kim Yoon Seok stars in the upcoming drama, he will first join the upcoming films "Noryang: Sea of Death," "Virus," and "Big Family."

On November 3, Kim Yun Seok’s agency HODU&U Entertainment shared that the actor has received an offer to appear in “In the Woods With No One” (literal title) and is currently reviewing the offer. A representative of Yoon Kye Sang’s agency also expressed their stance by saying, “The actor has received an offer and is positively reviewing it. Nothing has been decided yet.”

Go Min Si will reportedly work alongside Kim Yoon Seok and Yoon Kye Sang in the upcoming drama "In the Woods With No One."

On December 23rd, several industry insiders shared that Go Min Si will be included in the upcoming K-drama "In the Woods With No One." 

It is expected that Go Min Si's character will be the important key to the development of the story of the upcoming drama. The actress got the offer to play a mysterious character. 

If Go Min Si decided to join the series, this will be her next work after the new seasons of "Sweet Home Season 1." The actress will return to the new seasons and will work alongside Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Park Gyu Young, and Yoo Oh Sung.

This year, Go Min Si didn't appear in any dramas. She focused on starring in the films "Reincarnation Love" and "Decision to Leave." The actress will also star in the upcoming movie "Smugglers" with Kim Hye Soo, Yeom Jung Ah, Zo In Sung, Park Jung Min, and Kim Jong Soo.

Netflix’s upcoming drama has confirmed its casting lineup!

In early November, Yoon Kye Sang and Kim Yun Seok were reported to be in talks for Netflix’s new drama “In the Woods With No One” (literal translation). On February 20, Netflix finally announced, “The new original series ‘In the Woods With No One’ has been confirmed for production with Yoon Kye Sang, Kim Yun Seok, Go Min Si, and Lee Jung Eun as cast members.”

“In the Woods With No One” is a mystery thriller that tells the story of two pension owners who live in different timelines: Koo Sang Joon, who runs a motel in the past, and Jeon Young Ha, who runs a pension in the present. When similar incidents occur to each man, the two make completely different decisions. The drama is expected to raise tension with each episode as the entangled stories of the two characters unfold.

Kim Yun Seok will play Jeon Young Ha, whose pension is located deep in the forest. Jeon Young Ha’s peaceful life begins to crumble when the mysterious Yoo Sung Ah, played by Go Min Si, shows up at his pension one day as a guest and causes a big stir with her excessive and strange obsession with the place.

Yoon Kye Sang will be playing the role of Koo Sang Joon. In the summer of the early 2000s, Koo Sang Joon lost everything important to him due to an incident that happened at the motel, which was his family’s precious home.

Lee Jung Eun will star as police chief Yoon Bo Min, a former ace of the violent crime unit who persistently digs into cases and thinks of them as a game. Yoon Bo Min, who worked at the village’s police office more than 20 years ago, is now a police chief who watches closely over Jeon Young Ha with her extraordinary hunch when pursuing suspicious cases.

 

The upcoming drama is helmed by director Mo Wan Il, who won Best Director at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards in the television category for “The World of the Married.”

Ha Yoon Kyung will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama Alone in the Woods. 

Media outlet SPOTV shared on March 20 that Ha Yoon Kyung has been picked to portray the younger version of Lee Jung Eun's character in the upcoming K-drama Alone in the Woods.

Ha Yoon Kyung's side hasn't responded to the casting reports. 

Alone in the Woods is a mystery thriller K-drama that will reveal the story of two men who runs a motel and a pension in different eras. Sang Joon manages a motel in a rural area during the summer of 2000 while Young Ha runs a pension alone during the summer of 2021. 

The upcoming K-drama will be led by Kim Yoon Seok, Yoon Kye Sang, Go Min Si, Lee Jung Eun, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Park Ji Hwan. 

It will be the next work of director Mo Wan Il who also helmed the hit K-drama The World of the Married.

Ha Yoon Kyung got the offer to play the role of the younger Yoon Bo Min which is also the role of Lee Jung Eun. Yoon Bo Min is a former police chief. She then gets appointed in a village to keep an eye on Young Ha and the suspicious events involving him.

Alone in the Woods will be produced by Studio Lululala (SLL) and Studio Flow. The upcoming K-drama will premiere through Netflix.

 

 

This will be the fourth upcoming K-drama of Ha Yoon Kyung. The actress is also set to star in the series See You in My 19th Life, Bulk, and 2024's Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2. 

Ha Yoon Kyung became more known last year after being part of the hit ENA K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. She is best known as Woo Young Woo's best friend at the office named Choi Soo Yeon. 

The actress made her acting debut in 2014. She has starred in several K-dramas such as Matrimonial Chaos, Hospital Playlist, She Would Never Know, Monthly Magazine Home, and more. 

Aside from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Ha Yoon Kyung also appeared in the 2022 film Mother and Daughter with Kim Jung Young, Kim Woo Kyum, and Lee Chae Kyung.

EXO's Park Chan Yeol is returning to acting this year!

On February 7, media outlets reported that Park Chan Yeol will be joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix K-drama The Frog. 

Park Chan Yeol's agency SM Entertainment then shared their response. According to the agency, "It is true that Park Chan Yeol will be starring in the upcoming Netflix K-drama The Frog."

This will be the grand comeback of Park Chan Yeol to K-dramas. He last starred in the 2018 K-drama Memories of the Alhambra with Hyun Bin, Park Shin Hye, Park Hoon, Lee Seung Joon, Min Jin Woong, and Kim Eui Sung. 

Park Chan Yeol started his acting career in 2015 through the film Salut D'Amour. Since then, he has starred in several K-dramas and films such as The Box, EXO Next Door, Missing 9, and more. 

This will also be his first-ever project from the global OTT platform, Netflix.
