On September 15th, the JTBC weekend drama Behind Your Touch (directed by Kim Seok Yoon and Choi Bo Yoon, written by Lee Nam Gyu, Oh Bo Hyun, Kim Da Hee) captured the unusual atmosphere between Bong Ye Bun (played by Han Ji Min) and Cha Ju Man (played by Lee Seung Joon). In the previous episode, Bong Ye Bun discovered Cha Ju Man's suspicious behavior while using psychometry to search for a serial killer among the townspeople. She witnessed Cha Ju Man getting out of the car on the day her mother, Jung Mi Ok (played by Choi Jung In), passed away. Moreover, the last moments of the startled Jung Mi Ok, who seemed to have fallen asleep, added to the suspense. Jung Mi Ok was found dead inside a car submerged in the sea, intensifying curiosity about the secrets hidden in her death.

Amidst this, a released photo shows Bong Ye Bun wearing a different expression from her usual bright smile while looking at Cha Ju Man. In Cha Ju Man's determined face as he gazes back at Bong Ye Bun, a shift in their relationship can be sensed. Grandfather Jung Eui Hwan's unusual expression was also captured. Bong Ye Bun supporting her worried-looking grandfather only adds to the anxiety about what has happened to them.

Previously, Jung Eui Hwan had requested assistance from Won Jong Muk (played by Kim Hee Won) to investigate a real estate fraud case involving Cha Ju Man, suspected of being related to the disappearance of Cha Ju Man's list of sponsors. The fact that Jung Mi Ok had been investigating the case until her death raised suspicions about her demise. Curiosity deepens about the secrets behind Jung Mi Ok's death and the connection between Cha Ju Man and her.

The production team of Behind Your Touch stated, "Suspicions towards Cha Ju Man grows strong." adding, "Unexpected events will shake up Bong Ye Bun and her family as they face an unimaginable twist. Please stay tuned to see how Bong Ye Bun and Moon Sang Yeol will unravel the case.

Han Ji Min And Lee Min Ki’s Relationship Takes A Romantic Turn In “Behind Your Touch”

Han Ji Min And Lee Min Ki’s Relationship Takes A Romantic Turn In “Behind Your Touch”

Is romance finally blossoming on JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch”?

“Behind Your Touch” is a comedy-mystery drama set in Mujin, a small rural village free of crime. Han Ji Min stars as Bong Ye Bun, a busybody veterinarian who somehow winds up with the supernatural ability to see the pasts of other people and animals, while Lee Min Ki plays Moon Jang Yeol, an ambitious detective who needs her abilities to return to the criminal investigation team in Seoul.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “Behind Your Touch,” Bong Ye Bun learned the shocking truth that Cha Ju Man (Lee Seung Joon) had been with her mother on the day she died. Later, she also found out about Kim Sun Woo (EXO’s Suho)’s own tragic link to Cha Ju Man.

Although he was a bit clumsy, Moon Jang Yeol did his best to sincerely comfort Bong Ye Bun—warming viewers’ hearts in addition to Bong Ye Bun’s.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Bong Ye Bun looks as though she is about to burst into tears while sitting by the water where her mother left. The warm gaze Moon Jang Yeol is sending her way suggests that things have changed between the duo, who once couldn’t seem to stop bickering for a single moment.

Later, when Moon Jang Yeol attempts to get up and leave, Bong Ye Bun stops him by holding onto his jacket—and Moon Jang Yeol can’t seem to hide his happiness at her change of heart as he sits back down to stay with her.

As with most dramas, it has been uneven, but the series has hit its stride, with its characters & story build up, now concentrating on solving the mystery of who-dunnit - I quite like this town of quirky characters and with 4 episodes left, there is room for more of their stories and more twists & turns

Behind Your Touch: Episodes 11-12

by lovepark

Our psychic vet unearths an old case that hits too close to home and realizes that the truth she once accepted may have been a sham this entire time. It seems the key to solving the present mystery may lie in the past, though how exactly everything adds up remains unclear. However, all the clues point in the same direction, and at the center is one man.

EPISODES 11-12

While Jang-yeol is fixated on Sun-woo being the poncho killer, a secondary plot surrounding Ye-boon’s late mom develops simultaneously. These two seemingly unrelated cases intersect as more overlapping details emerge, and our heroes learn that this tangled mess may have started decades ago.

During the redevelopment scam that rocked their quiet town, Assemblyman Cha (an overworked aide back then) spearheaded the campaign which caused the collapse of multiple families. Of the victims was a single mother who disappeared one day out of the blue, leaving behind her young son, who we later learn is Sun-woo.

The reveal of Assemblyman Cha’s double-faced nature shocks Ye-boon who has a difficult time accepting the possibility that her mom may have been murdered by a man she once trusted. As she sits lost in thought, Sun-woo joins her, and they find a bit of solace in their shared experience of misunderstanding and missing their moms.

Still convinced that Sun-woo is the culprit, Jang-yeol warns Ye-boon to stay vigilant, but she defends her crush, calling him empathetic unlike a certain detective she knows. Jang-yeol balks at her comment since he is a very understanding person, so Ye-boon decides to test his claim.

Under the guise of a quiz, she uses her real-life experiences as examples to see how he reacts, and after failing the first couple of scenarios miserably, Jang-yeol finally catches on to Ye-boon’s true intentions. He reaches out to pat brush her shoulder, and Ye-boon shows him how to properly comfort someone. (Oh gosh, these two…!)

Wanting to know the truth, Ye-boon decides to ask Assemblyman Cha in person about her mom’s death, but when she heads over to his office, she spots Shaman Park following the assemblyman while wearing a green poncho and holding a flowery knife. However, one word from Ye-boon has him frozen in place and crying. Like Sun-woo, Shaman Park lost a parent due to the scam, and he harbors a grudge against the assemblyman.

Though she does some research on her own, Ye-boon hits a limit on what she can uncover, so she turns to Jang-yeol for help. Despite his busy schedule, he looks into her mom’s case but finds nothing unusual about the investigation. He tells her that the police ruled it as suicide because of Assemblyman Cha’s testimony, and that tidbit is enough for Ye-boon to fill in the blanks.

At this point, everyone in Ye-boon’s home is aware of some form of the truth, so when Assemblyman Cha drops by unexpectedly, they listen to him ramble with forced smiles, maintaining the ruse that no one believes. While Grandpa sees the assemblyman off, they get into a heated argument downstairs, and Ye-boon peeks into their conversation through her dog’s eyes.

Confronting her grandpa, Ye-boon asks why he hid everything from her all these years, but he replies, “This isn’t about your mom. It’s about my daughter.” He blames Ye-boon and her dad for causing this incident in the first place, and his words are like daggers to her heart. She agrees to deal with this by herself since they were never family to begin with and storms out of the house.

As Ye-boon sits by the sea, Jang-yeol joins her and asks if she needs comfort or help. She says that she needs neither, but when he gets up to leave, she grabs his jacket. She wishes he was psychic, too, so he could know what was bothering her, but even without powers, Jang-yeol correctly guesses what happened. He advises her to use her abilities on her grandpa to see what he really means, but Ye-boon is scared of what she might find.

On the previous episode of “Behind Your Touch,” Park Jong Bae (Park Hyuk Kwon) and Kim Sun Woo (EXO’s Suho) were cleared of suspicion in the serial murders. Behind Your Touch: Episodes 13-14

by lovepark

Han-Ji-Min-3.jpg

The list of victims increases at an alarming pace as the poncho killer gets closer to our heroes and threatens to upend everything. As our detective and psychic vet start to question everyone around them, it becomes harder to discern the truths from the lies. Even psychometric powers have a limit, and things that once seemed clear to our heroes have become opaque.

EPISODES 13-14

The death of her grandpa leaves a deep wound in Ye-boon’s heart, and as she sends him off, she wallows in regret for never having the courage to try and understand him. Watching her cry, Jang-yeol renews his resolve to catch the killer, and he goes above and beyond his role as a detective to clear her grandpa’s name and make sure Ye-boon is taken care of.

While nearly everyone in town attends Grandpa’s funeral, Sun-woo is noticeably absent, which raises Jang-yeol’s suspicions. As he begins to worry about his top suspect running away, Sun-woo returns and apologizes to Ye-boon for being late (he was out looking for his mom). Though he should be the one to comfort her, instead he receives solace from Ye-boon who assures him that things will get better.

Meanwhile, Gwang-shik investigates the case on his own and discovers that Shaman Park tried to kill Assemblyman Cha. He passes this information to Jang-yeol, but the new detective on the case overhears his statement and immediately arrests Shaman Park. When Ye-boon hears what happened, she rushes to the shaman’s defense, and to convince the rest of Jang-yeol’s team, she reveals her powers to them.

Though it takes a few butt touches to convince them, the other detectives eventually believe Ye-boon, and with Detective Na’s practically superhuman skills, the team sneaks Ye-boon into the interrogation room to see Shaman Park. After a hasty explanation of her powers, she gets permission to read the shaman’s memories and finds out his alibi: he went to Sun-woo’s workshop that night and met up with him.

Jang-yeol finds it odd that Sun-woo popped up again in the case and confronts him about his whereabouts the night of the murders. Fed up with his targeted investigation, Sun-woo offers his butt for them to check — he put the clues together about Ye-boon and figured out her secret a while ago. Thus, Ye-boon touches his rear and corroborates his story: he is neither the poncho killer nor the third psychic.

With Sun-woo removed from the list of suspects, Jang-yeol hits a wall and wonders where he went wrong. While he goes over the case in his head, Ye-boon heads to Gwang-shik’s farm for a house call and gets a ride from Sun-woo. No longer having to worry about his true identity, she enjoys the peaceful moment together.

At Gwang-shik’s house, Ye-boon notices him acting strange, and after discussing it with Ok-hee, something clicks. She rushes to Jang-yeol’s place and tells him that maybe they were being played from the start. The only one who actually “saw” the third psychic is Gwang-shik, and once Jang-yeol takes away his statement, all the clues point towards him.

However, just as the others begin to suspect him, Gwang-shik becomes the poncho killer’s next target. Despite a life-threatening stab wound, he drags his body to Ye-boon’s hospital and leaves her a dying message: “Black…” (I was not expecting that!)

In the meantime, Jang-yeol continues searching for Gwang-shik, unaware of the turn of events, and as fate would have it, he runs into the poncho killer. As he gives chase, he manages to corner the killer, but loses him again after a little scuffle. He ends up outside the shaman’s home, and right then, Sun-woo walks out, carrying a garbage bag with blood on his hand.
