I would say a variable and the door that KS needs to open. Actually, Park Joong Won is the first person killed by KS as he had just become a goblin. The evil eunuch considered himself as father of the king and as such, he saw himself above the King and even as equal to the Heavens. Kind of blasphemy... We shouldn't forget the speech he gave to the King in the episode 1. When we discovered later that he used the child to become the true ruler, he must have resented KS a lot, when the latter appeared and killed him. I guess, Park Joong Won  killed the king WY who regretted his sins and stopped being Park's puppet so that the eunuch had to kill him as well. I can't forget Park Joong Won's smile), when he was walking with the other minister after the king's death. He didn't seem upset at all and this is a clue that the evil had already set a new plan in motion. So after Park's death, the evil minister was really mad that God had helped KS and turned him into a goblin so that his plan had been ruined. He saw this intervention as unfair. In my opinion, by bringing back the evil minister,  God is trying to recreate a similar situation from the past. GR needs to remember his past in order to redeem himself. Like I had mentioned before, people keep being confronted by the same situation in the past. This time, it is a little different because GR has become KS' friend, while in the past he had been brainwashed by the eunuch for so many years.

As for DW: it is clear that he is God. Notice that from the start, he is the only one who considers GR and KS as uncles. This underlines that he was feeling close to them, as if they belong to his family. GR and Goblin are close to God, since both are immortals. Morever, in the intro just before DW's character is shown, the viewer sees a candle and the light has just gone off. I had mentioned previously that candle often symbolises life and time and when the light goes out, it means, the person has just died. So it is clear that God is the one who determines the life time, he is the ruler of peoples' life. When the lady in red met our Goblin at the end of the episode 8 and told him the harsh truth, she was actually angry after she left the shop. It was clear that she was acting on the order of someone else. Since DH is god, he couldn't deliver the message himself. Besides, he wanted to push Goblin to confess his feelings towards ET because the latter seems to avoid it. IF he kept ET by his side without letting her know that he loved her and he recognised her as his bride, he would have kept living as Goblin and that's not what God wants. KS would have kept being a goblin and waited until 80 years have passed so that he could die with her. However, this would have been unnatural because ET would have grown old and KS would have looked the same.

I understand why eunch will come as villain.He will be one to explain who is real identity grim reaper...The most scary we know kim shin who killed him years ago.So we scared what eunch will do next....Now its time Grim reaper together goblin to kill this xxxx...sorry I just want to curse  Eunuch...

Phew!! Im so glad you've seen it too, @deara!! Me too at first thought the wave was for fans. But it's definitely for GY oppa...hehee.  @12blbl and @melonpark, you can find it if you search for Goblin in Hangul on IG. It may take awhile to find it cos I saw the vids during the week and ppl like to use Goblin tag for nonsense stuffs. 

New episode: My streaming lag so bad and it paused at Eunuch's face the longest!! Ige mwoya?!!  I almost threw my ipad...lol. When ET went to KS's room, I seriously thought we'll see bed scenes....huhuhu. Overall, another great episode. I was upset ET went to see that nugu by herself! So, so glad KS came to rescue her. Phew!! One brave gal indeed to boldly help the ghost.
