Omo. I know this would happen. Hot discussion in our thread. LOL!! When I open my IG after work, my heart like stabbed by a very very sharp knife. Then after that, nothing, I just laughed loudly. What is it? Dunno what feeling is it. But yeah, who are we to judge JG or JE? Calm down, my shipper friends, JG's fans, or JE's fans. I know we all feel very dissapointed because that dating news. But once again, I want to remind you, we are know nothing about the real things. We cannot judge JG was wrong because he acted lovey dovey to someone else or what. I know we all, shipper, dissapointed, but hey, maybe we are reading too much too? It's not his fault entirely. And I want to remind you that it was his private life, so just give him freedom to choose what the best for himself. Our opinion about his best partner, might different from his. He was the one who experienced it anyway. Both JG & JE deserved the best partner for themselves. They both are amazing & talented entertainer, they did their job amazingly & sincere, with their heart. And for me, my dissapointment because the fact that I ship him with JE coud not happened (at least for now) won't ever lessen my respect toward him as an actor. It's such a pleasure to see these two shining stars meet on a great drama.

This news seems to be soooo UNTRUE, and til now I am still hardly to believe in it.

There are TONS of suspicious aspects from Namoo's confirmation, by seeing what and how JG has said and shown in the past year.

Is like, would "someone in their right mind" acted as how he done in all his interview, public event and tv program, if he is in a relationship ?

Day after day, week after week, month after month all the crumbs we've got is pointed out that both of them having feeling towards each other.

It's confirmed by their agency. Dispatch is fishy and they probably let the news out now, when there is all this hype around JG (Moon Lovers, MEC, fan meetings, RE) because they know it's going to get huge reactions! Also, they are really sick! It's stalking! Disgusting!

Stargazers, our ship definitely took a hard hit today and we might have lost some of our once dedicated crew, but I will still be here until the ship officially sinks. To those who have already said they will still remain here, thank you~

It took Nicky Wu and Cecilia Liu two years of other make ups and break ups to get to their real life romance, so I think JoonU deserves at least that much.

Confirming a relationship isn't the end of it all. The end is when marriage is officially announced and we are not at that point, so there is still hope.

JoonU has undeniable and very natural, effortless chemistry and I think they know it too. It will just be up to them and up to fate on what they will do about it.

I don't believe it was all fan service and acting. There had to be at least a little bit of something there. But now, only time will tell.

We jumped on board while knowing IU was in a relationship. It's not too much of a stretch to stay onboard now that Joon Gi is the one dating. The situation is just reversed.

Of course, I'm disappointed and blindsided, but it will take more than this to bring me down. Before being a Stargazer, I was already a Uaena since 2009 and a Hajunse since 2013. This won't change.

And I can be patient. I am still firm and immovable. Nursing my wounds, maybe, but definitely stubborn. Especially since I still feel that this entire situation is a bit weird. Off. Suspicious. Whatever you want to call it. 

The timing. The old photos. Everything we've seen. It's odd. I agree that, at this point, sometimes it's better to just confirm than to deny again for the fourth time for the sake of reputation and career. It doesn't necessarily mean the relationship is serious enough to the point of going public. I am sure Joon Gi was equally as blindsided at this turn of events.

In any case, I am not budging. 

So, who is with me? Who will continue to stay here and wait with me until the storm passes, however long it may take?

I’m not on the Joongi-bashing train, but I can sympathise with fans being irritated with him since what he’s been doing has been duplicitous in a way that’s straight up weird for regular people. 

Basically, here’s what happened: For career reasons, actor Joongi really wanted to capitalise on his romantic hero image from MLSHR. In order to do that, he had to be seen acting romantically with women (IU, Minyoung). Hence fan service, MEC. All that talk about being a lonely woobie was for that goal too (not just to protect his rl gf, tbh). Meanwhile, dun dun dun, the private Joongi has actually been involved with JHB the whole time.

The bottom line is this: Joongi is an ambitious person. If he were less ambitious, then he’d have been grateful for the popularity boost from MLSHR and then chilled. Instead, he’s been going out of his way to milk the thirst! Of course, that’s totally his prerogative (and from a business perspective, I give him props for it, lol). But I do get that kind of calculatedness and image-consciousness is off-putting to most people. 

(Think of it this way though: IU’s long been regarded as a “sly fox”, and now LJG’s been exposed as a PLAYER!!! A match made in heaven, amirite.) 

Anyway, I’m not that pressed about the news mainly because this kind of behaviour is what I expect from A-listers… and also because I’d managed my expectations for JoonU. I’ve been on board purely because (1) their brotp IS real, and (2) I see an inappropriate amount of UST between them. However, I wasn't necessarily counting on that to deliver results. 

Nevertheless, let's get this straight: fanservice/careerism isn’t mutually exclusive with genuine attraction! I don’t think everyone’s been hallucinating Joongi being weirdly into IU. If anything, finding your costar attractive would just give you more incentive to promote your onscreen ship.  And it’s not a crime to feel attracted to someone while being in a relationship with someone else, so long as you’re faithful to your partner. LJG might have been pushing it with the amount of flirting he’s done, but ultimately, he’s chosen the woman he knew before he ever met IU. 

Enough about Joongi, though. The main reason JoonU appeals to me over all of IU’s other potential pairings is that IU herself without a doubt favours him. Keep in mind that she’s always been careful not to provoke rumours, and that her breakup news hadn’t been released when they were doing all their fan service acts, and that she probably knew LJG himself was attached—and yet she still surrendered to and embraced his baiting methods! That seems to indicate that LJG has a weird and special impact on her… So yeah, so long as they remain Close Colleagues, this ship is still alive as far as I'm concerned. To me this dating news is basically the equivalent of that time So married Mu's daughter and Soo traced over So's poems a lot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You know me....with our previous ship, I was never really truly on board and I was pretty much ok when it sank.  But here.... this ship?  I will stay.  Coz I know what I have seen.  Actions speak louder than words.  And it's too bad they were both "committed" during MLSHR.  But as we all know, life is hell so unsure and we never know what's going to happen the next moment. 

For as long as they are still technically single, I will remain here.  Love is love.  No matter what sets the distance, love is still love.  And if it's really meant to be, no matter what, they will be together eventually.

@akinahana89 yes captain we're gonna keep fighting like rose even if her jack and her titanic is drowning. JoonU will either survive this trial thrown at it or will drown and become a happy memory in the depths of the sea for us. But thinking that Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi went through similar things gives me hope. It wasn't like we shipped JoonU this seriously from the very start of ML because we knew she had a boyfriend. I believe same thing goes for this time around too. Anything can happen and all goes well that ends well. Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi took 5 years after SH to get married and during this long time they passed many obstacles. So there's still hope.

Well technically HE didn't reveal it! It was acknowledged by their agency after Dispatch delivered the photos of them, and there was no point in denying it with all that proof. It was a forced situation. I don't think  they would have acknowledged the relationship if there weren't any proof!

MY THEORY 

JG-JE-JHB situation reminds me of Youre beautiful story so much..

So JG-HB might have been in a relationship before but not anymore(dispatch releasing old photos but no new one)

While filming MLSHR JG would hv fell for JE and vice versa since she already brokeup..

SAF,Taiwan meeting just increased their feeling and they wanted to reveal their relationship soon..BUT BUT BUT some jelaous people would have thought that of the news of them comes out it will jeopardize their careers, hence they told Dispatch to leak the old pics..

Then both parties didn't know what to do and JG would hv thought instead dragging IU into this..he confirmed the rumour so that their relationship doesn't get bashed by netizens..

I know..i know it doesn't even make sense..butwho knows?? Anything is possible right? But my head is spinning with all these possibilities becaz i thought my JOONU was REAL..

Timing is everything.. If the relationship is just recent the reaction wouldn't be like this. I might accept it if its another celebrity that is recent and new, rather than being in relationship for two years and flirting here and there.... Maybe that's why dispatch made a move haha.. He's still a good actor for me but he's really one confusing guy (the type I hate the most)..

On a side note, is there any brewing political scandal in SK? This might be some kind of distraction..
