It's soo heartbreaking that Yuwen Yue is starting to fall for her soo deeply and she's going to leave him, soon.  Just as we gonna get some happy/romantic scene, I am feeling sad already. 

 

After watching this scene, I was soo shock that she can't cut him and he did it himself. I hope by the time we see this scene, she's already falling for him already. 

me tooooo! but it's a Cdrama formula! they will be separated soon !  it's like they fall in love something nasty happens between them and BAM they separate ! then we have to waitttttt for them to get back together  poor us

The princess only gets bad when something major happened which distorted her personality. Xing er's 8th sister later on will be falling in love with YY and the prince. She gets sour when both the guys like the sister. She's quite bad somewhere in the middle. But the princess is even worse. I think Li Qing's can deliver the character well. I like her despite she's villainous even in the end.

The relationships are very complex in this drama. First seems most guys like CQ, even yuan song likes her somewhere along the storyline. It'll be hard to see how they portray her so in love with YX at the start and then in love with YWY at the end. Hopefully the drama will change it a bit so that she's actually only loves YWY but have pity towards YX and wanting to help him as he's helped her so many times.

Some saves/helps that YX did was actually should be credited to YWY. The one in human-hunting ground was YWY's ice arrow that saves her, in the slaves prison also YWY who asked his attendant to inform YX to saves her there bcoz his grandpa forbid him to do it. The drama really push hard for YueXing ship...

Couldn't agree more with you on the separation. There's always misunderstanding in cdrama and they separate for soo long until they fix it and come back together.

I have the same feeling of 20 episodes of introduction of Yuwen Yue and Xing Er, then switching over to Yan Xun and Xing Er. 

And yes, Yuwen Yue does change his voice/tone when he speaks to Xing Er. I am looking forward to when he gives her the rabbit light thingy. I want to know what he says to her. Also when there was a lot of people, he offer his hand for her to hold, but she grabs onto his sleeves instead. Soo cute!!

I could be wrong but,the princess with the veil Xiao Yue is probably Yuwen Yue's pen pal that he was writing letters to about his yearning for freedom. The Eye of Heaven is probably not an object but a secret elite assassin/spy organisation that the emperor and the Yuwen household both want control over. It's quite possible that Xing Er was part of this organisation before she lost her memory since Concubine Wei mentions that Lu He's daughter fell into a river.

When she grabbed his sleeves, I got a de ja vu of ShiFu Wallace and HuaQinGu

There were some comments in other blogs that PA is pulling a HuaQinGu. Both got men whom ice cold outside burning hot inside, bells as an ID, smashing bells scenes in the previews, both men also repair the smashed bells and keep it close when the girls gone....

YES! It was just like HuaQianGu! When I saw her hairpin bell and how she became his maid, I was like this is very similar to HuaQianGu. She also received a bell and became the master's student. It makes sense why they would pick Zanilia to play the girl, again. Lol!

Found another OST called 星月 which means "Star and Moon" although the word 玥 in Yuwen Yue's name doesn't actually mean moon, but refers to the right eye of Pan Gu which becomes the moon or a mystical pearl seen as a mark of heavens favor..
