A single scene of Yeong and Ra-on staring lovingly at each other = 10 kiss scenes. A single look between them feels more romantic than your standard k-drama kiss.

CP should punish her with a deep kiss. Like walking towards her, swoop her in his arms and and kiss her under the moonlight. What do you think?

Dude, the hat removal and bridal carry was overwhelming with its chemistry! In my western thinking mind, we cut away just before they cemented their relationship. Then, he was playing with her hand while they were resting together. There is so much intimacy in that small moment. Finally, he nuzzled her during the back hug. The emotions felt so real.
Congratulations to the AMAZING actors for their ability to convey those emotions. Congratulations to the writer and director on their ability to use three essentially innocent scenes to imply a more physical and intimate relationship. I can believe in the deep love these characters have.

Interesting way of describing ....no hint of weakness. And I think he's quick...and he doesn't hesitate too. Like how he kill the Kim's spy in 5 seconds.

I know it was really really beautiful when CP backhug RAon. I can't help but wonder how was CP outside his room...where did he come from. From a stroll outside, toilet?

What was he doing not in his room? Maybe he went out looking for Raon? How sweet if he did !!!

having watched ep 12, i can just say every episode is really daebak. i was actually feeling disappointed that pd nim fooled us with the teaser - make us all so excited and with higher expectation than per normal and then there is not even a peck.

but then as i watched ep 12, there are just so many moments that captured the viewers heart.

a) the walking in the rain scene and the gazing again, and then swoosh... LY carried RO and placed her on his lap. 

i wonder whether KYJ is very light or PBG has worked hard on his muscles. he carry her like without any effort and can even shift her body weight a little before placing her on his lap. the eye power here is really superb. even i can feel my hearts flutter looking at both of them. can you believe if there is no sparks between them? and the voice projection. have to really give it to them. the lovey durvey voice in the conversation exchanges --- really sweeet to the max. and i can accept that skinship progressed a little slower for them cos in the story, they played teenagers - more time is needed to nurture the feel. recall their first skin - how long has LY suppressed himself before he planted his kiss on RO.

b)sword fighting scenes

first time i think sword exchanges are not that boring. i actually mentioned before how nice if CP can protect RO and pull her in his arms. he did that in ep 2 although he was slashed badly in the end. but the choreography was great. -- not too messy but still can see the swirling and turning. in fact, i think the actors may enjoy doing such scenes cos how else then will they be able to use sword that beautifully in real life (unless you are a wushu athlete)

c) backhug

this show seems to have a focus on hands here. very painful scene (LY's body pain from the injury and RO pain in the heart) have seen comments on KYJ's acting. i think we have to give this girl a fair evaluation. i cry when she cry. and provided that there is still sad sad OST to ease us into the emotions, as compared to when the actor n actresses shoot their scene, it is without any bgm, can you imagine how KYJ can cry till so heart ache, i really have to give it to them. n i think the pairing works for them, RO's emotion evokes PBG's and vice versa which is why they can display such chemistry on screen.

c)last scene with RO looking at CP sadly with a smile

this is really sad. before that during the backhug, it was the first time RO cames to confess so openly his love for CP. but that is before she herself knew her destiny of being a rebel's daughter. i think she will leave but i hope she will still hold on to CP's hand and support him from outside the palace. i will want her to join force and assist CP to build the kind of dynasty that aspired.
