As it is, in the drama version, my belief that RO and Yeong are meant for each other is unshakeable. And, as beautiful and loyal as BY is, Yeong has risked more and done more to be with RO. Having YS long for RO hurts my heart as it is. I think having BY also seriously in love with RO would have been too much to bear.

But thanks for uploading. It was interesting to see the illustrations from the novel. and I agree that they did well in casting for this drama, but especially PBG and KYJ.

Just taking a quick peak at these uploads again, I'll just reiterate that they are just smoking. Definitely, more than the pure gazing love of our OTP, plus the respectful distances of BY and YS, in our drama. Both have their charms, though. I would like to read the original novel/webtoon some day. That is, someday after the drama version is over so that I don't taint the drama version too much with the more adult novel version.

A couple of questions- plot holes if you will- since I can't even get it out of my mind at 5 Am.

- The involvement of the Head Eununch Han.

How does our super intelligent CP not expect Eununch Han to have some motives regarding RaOn, considering how he has informed him about knowing and being indebted to her mother? 

Once RaOn's parentage came out, surely there would be some suspicions in CP's mind about the involvement of Eununch Han and Teacher DaSan with the rebels. (He already suspects BY). He also has not confirmed the exact person behind his attack (considering PM Kim tried to pass off the use of Gold Bars to the assassin's family by his subordinate to gain info about RaOn and not for attacking the Prince). Doesn't he have an insight into the rebels in his own backyard?

Why was CP intent on finding HKN's daughter before PM Kim? (Before he knew it was RaOn). What was his end game?

 

Secondly, RO and Head Eununch Han's connection. She knew in Ep15 that the letter was fake and a trap (which bore his insignia). She is also under BY's protection as the Prince's guard and he moves her location.

 When Head Eununch Han meets her to lay off the CP (untangle that web as he says), and says he knows her father- isn't she the least bit suspicious as to how he knows her new whereabouts? (Which only BY is supposed to know, even CP and also YS is out of the picture- although he knew her previous location).

And even as she accepts Eununch Han's help to move her mother after her dad re-appears, RaOn doesn't know the truth about the men who attacked CP (the fake rebels)- they are thought to be the actual White Clouds. If she knows Eununch Han's purpose as a rebel, shouldn't she be worried for CP, and whether his group attacked him before? 

Also, when she is surprised that BY is the one to escort her as a guard- she definitely puts 2+2 together that he is a part of the rebel group- and today he is under the orders of Eununch Han and not CP. Should she not warn CP about this development? (They've had enough quiet time in the attic).

- Weird Minister Fish Face

When CP accuses him and the other idiot of messing with the traitorous prisoner (BY's rebel boss), why does he not search them? He has clearly caught them on the spot that they know more about the traitor than they are letting on- which they should not have known. Why doesn't he order them to be investigated?

Instead PM Kim resigns in the next scene. Has CP filed this information for future use? 

 

- Hong Kyong Nae's reappearance

It's clear that HKN reappeared to save his daughter. After years of successful hiding, how did the guards spot him alive or know to look for a dead man? Did he let himself be visible- caught for some reason?

It's sure he was planning to take RaOn and run, considering he visited his wife and tried escaping from the guards. 

CP's & YS's reason for Treason-

Despite how deeply they trust and love RaOn, both CP and YS have to know they're committing treason by harbouring RaOn and using state resources (I.e. BY) to help her.

Wouldnt YS's whole family be caught up in the storm if it came to light he helped RaOn- his grandfather already suspects it. Even though PM Kim calls out CP publicly for saving RaOn, an ill-timed entrance by his grandson YS can ruin everything (since traitors' families also got blamed)?

Also, what would happen to CP if he was known to be with RO? Since he's the Crown Prince, they really can't do anything to him- maybe they're emboldened by the birth of the new fake prince? Also, with CP recklessly helping his RaOn-ah, won't he be aware of eyes watching him.in the palace- and doesn't he know that his actions are too risky? 

Lots of thoughts everywhere, nor any preview to see. I hope all threads are tied neatly.

I went out for a walk for almost an hour and holy cricket, it is still too quiet here in the forum!  Is everyone doing an MDBC marathon rewatch to gear up for the new episode on Monday?  Or, have y'all started your MDBC detoxification process so it won't be too difficult to bid adieu to RO, LY, YS, BY and etc. come Tuesday? I'm definitely not yet ready to say goodbye.

Time flies. I hadn’t registered autumn has kicked in in South Korea until I see the casts wrapped up in fleece blankets to keep warm. Well, at least Bo Gum and the rest of the casts no longer need to desperately cool themselves down with those tiny electronic fans, and he can let his hair grow out (not that it hasn’t). To make matter worse for the live shooting, as if the crew needs it, the rain must have caused some hindrance to the filming schedule, too.

 

 

 

 

BTS MAKING #8 FOR EPISODE 15-16

The BTS starts off showing the OTP in tears filming the break-up scene from episode 15. Awww. Both Kim Yoo Jung and Park Bo Gum are deep into their characters that they are still sniffing and crying after director has yelled, ‘Cut!’ There, there, tissues for both. This scene is my favourite in episode 15, so they did wonderfully and the viewers felt it.

Next we see all heads down on the ground, LOL, searching for the scattered beads from the bracelet. YeongOn supporters need not worry, the worker ants and Seja have personally collected the beads for possibly future use. Although I half-expected that Ra On should be the one who did, assuming she was the last to leave the premise after the break-up. We shall find out next week.

Seconds ago it was all tears, but the scene then change to a happy dancing Yoo Jung in the rain filming the scene where she encounters soldiers on her way back to the hiding place. Filming must have been tough with rain getting in the way day and night. They must have waited for the rain to die down filming Jin Young‘s part because I don’t remember seeing rain in that scene. And heh hehehehe, Yoo Jung impersonating Kwak Dong Yeon and saying his line from episode 2. That was cute, and she mimic his tone so well.

Who cracks up seeing the king wield the sword and hit his own head/hat??? I will raise my hand and admit I did. HAHAHAHA. There are so much hate towards his character this week that I hope this little scene helps us release that pent-up frustration. Or…maybe not. The night that the interrogation scene was filmed must be really cold for some actors to be covered up in fleece blankets and seeking warmth from the burning fire.

And sighhhhh, must the BTS has to tease us again by ending it at Seja saying, ‘Byung Yeon-ahhh’?

I rewatched the earlier episodes and I really like the cheeky cp giving raon the correct answers in the test. That was really cute. Their gaze towards each other got more intense as the episodes go. 

i am fine if there is no preview as long as they give us a good ending and keep the quality of production. 

I am seriously wondering what show to watch after this. Feeling the "void" when mdbc end.
