I personally hope to develop all round in terms of both acting and singing, both are taken into considerations, but how I should walk this path in details, I will choose to go with the flow, one step by one step, because many things require the right time, the right place and the right people, but I indeed do like everything related to music. In the past, when I was in a band, the music style was death metal which is less mainstream, but in private, EDM, R&B, rock music which are more towards J-Rock, pop music which are more towards K-pop....there almost isn't any type of music that I dislike, hence I included many different types of music elements in my new album.

Is music composition a distress process? What do you do when you have no inspirations?
Sometimes yes, because when i am unable to write songs, I really can't write out anything the whole day, but when my condition is right, I can settle everything within a day, usually I will space out myself, aimlessly listen to various music genres, feel more things, and in this way, the brain will be able to produce more thoughts.But actually when standing on stage performing and expressing music to others, that feeling is the best. Once I think of this moment, all the dilemmas and distress beforehand aren't vivid anymore!

After gaining popularity, you suddenly become many people's "boyfriend" and "husband", are you accustomed to it yet?
Haha! Indeed this is a fast process, but it happens gradually step by step, and gave me time to get accustomed to it. For example, initially the friends who came to see me at the airport was a few people, then it became ten plus, and then it became hundred plus people. Inwardly, I am quite emotional/in thoughts towards this change. Just like previously during the Thailand fanmeeting, once I exit the airport, the road opposite was filled with fans, everyone were in an orderly manner and it was neat, at that moment, inside my heart, I said "wow! so many people!".

Do you still remember classmate Xu Weizhou from a year ago?
The thing that Xu classmate ponder about the most from a year ago, was his career path after graduation. It's the same worries as every university students in their senior years, I was considering if I should do postgraduate study .I felt insecure at the possibility of leaving the school environment and entering the society. The initial plans wasn't detailed, but if things doesn't work out, my worst plan is to be an average office worker.

Are there any rewards for yourself for the huge improvements/advancements this year?
The most direct one is to have a good feast every time after work! But actually if I am able to have a good rest now, it's the best reward for myself! I like traveling too, if I have the chance, i would like to visit small countries in Europe.

Among the many interviews, which question were you asked the most? Won't you feel bored consistently repeating the same answers?
Almost everyone will ask "what are your mindset changes after you become popular", but each time considering about this question, my answers are different. These few months is a process of my changes, everyday I feel like I grow up a little. From being very uneasy and frustrated when facing interviews and cameras to really thinking about things. I will also calm down and think deeply first when facing setbacks, so even though I answered the same question many times, my thoughts really do change. Of course, my skin are thicker now, haha, so I am more relaxed in wanting to share my real thoughts with everyone.

Share with us an especially cool or interesting thing that you did?
Organizing a music festival in high school, we got the sponsors by ourselves, found the venue, and found 6-7 bands with young but skilled members. At that time, it was not considered a small scale to have thousand people coming to a live house. It is something that give quite a great sense of accomplishment, and also a memory with my friends back then. Oh yes, recently I went to visit my friends from our band back then, we ate and chat together. The friend(s) from the band back then, formed another new band, when watching their performances from the stage below, my hands still itch. But thinking about it now, this isn't a difficult thing, there will definitely be a chance in the future when we can stand on the stage together again.

Friends seem to be very important to you?
Yes, I am a Libra, it's kind of like what everyone said "contestant for group social interactions". There are more guys among my friends, hence when we gather together, we play games and go out to take a bath, these kind of "old man" hobbies. When I'm with my friends, it's the time when I'm really relaxed, I won't think about other complicated stuff. In the past when I performed with my friends from the band, the mental burden was lighter, now for performances and exposures, mostly I have to do it by myself alone. Initially I will feel like I have nothing to rely on. Fighting alone vs group activity, I still prefer being with everyone more.

In work or in daily life, when do you feel like you especially have to prove yourself?
Actually everyday it's like a fire up mode, filled with fighting spirits. I feel the realism of myself in a process of striving hard very much. I think to do well in everything at hand, is a prove to myself. I think I am quite hardworking, but I can still work harder.

After entering the entertainment industry, did you gain any good advice from the people around you?
Yes, my mom said, your fans are really very nice, you must treat them well. Indeed, during difficult times, I am always supported by them, hence, I keep thinking of more ways to repay them, you will find that I like to interact with everyone, some often say Xu Weizhou loves "attracting/teasing girls", actually I am not "attracting/teasing girls" ah, I really want to find more chances to chat with everyone.

Heard that many started liking you after watching your fancams at the airport or when they went to the airport to see you?
Yes yes! because of this I am teased by everyone as "China's airport star", representing works are: fancams/fanpics, airport runway and etc, haha! Maybe because I don't usually walk away with a cold face, I like those kind of friendly interactions within an appropriate distance. I want to treat everyone as friends, actually I don't like to use the word "fans", isn't addressing as "everyone", "you guys", "baizhou", more closer?

Previously, when you received your first award, your eyes were brimming with tears?
it might be funny when I say this out, at that moment I really had all sorts of feelings and emotions. I also asked myself, is this real? And surprisingly, a sentence appeared in my mind, "don't steam the buns, fight for a breathe".

Reveal a few odd habits for us?
Odd habit no.1: Every night before sleeping, I like to drink a cup of whisky + coke; Odd habit no.2: I like to collect cute dolls, the little wool plushie and little kitty sent by everyone, I keep them all. If you come to my house, you will find it like a girl's house, odd enough?

Talk about the part of yourself which you like and dislike the most.
I dislike Libra's indecisiveness the most, I like my frankness and sincerity the most.

They are angry, loud and vocal but I don't understand what they think they will achieve. Are they crazy to the point that they believe that JY reciprocates some kind of romantic love? Do they expect to marry him en-mass.?

I don't get it. What you said is correct. No one in their right mind would want to remain around nasty individuals. As for Timmy he should not (nor should we) indulge these idiots and further fuel their hatred.

It's sad that they have not taken the time to see how truly remarkable Timmy is and instead waste time indulging in ridiculous, childish and immature name calling, creating nasty rumors and spreading those nasty lies and rumors.

@neko_wo_ai_ni Don't feel dishearten. ZZ will always have a safe place here with our Soompi Family. That's the reason we leave the negativity at whatever platform it originated because this haven is here as an oasis for when no other place offers solace.

@bearology is not kidding about there being way worse to both of them. @xix19xix has addressed this very well in most recent post.  While I have also added a few thoughts in another post. 

The best thing is if we stop indulging them. Do not read, like, discuss or comment on their vicious posts. Once they realize that no one is wasting the time or energy responding to their crazy antics and they have lost the attention they so desperately crave, maybe then they will stop posting their crazy mean-spirited nonsense.

For the JY only and ZZ only who chose to hate rather than love, choose anger rather than understanding, that's your misfortune. What a shame that you have never really gotten to know both JY and ZZ as individuals separate from their roles in Addicted.  (this does not apply to every only just the ones active in smear campaigns against either or both boys)

Freebies I got at the concert

Yes! That album was a freebie too! They were carrying a suitcase and I just queued up thinking just a simple freebies will be given then they handed me that album! And I wanted to "KYA!" like a little girl but I managed to keep it cool and spazzed silently away from other people. I promise I will buy your next album, okay, bb kitten?

I had 3 fans but gave 2 away to 2 jiejies from Malaysia that were so kind to me. They gave me a guitar pick in return.

Those are printed on photo papers so it really feels like real photos(?). That jie had those inside a plastic bag and people were just put their hands inside it and took out as many as they could grabbed (me too but I only got those) and the nicer ones passed to other people while keeping a few for themselves (well, couldn't blame them, of course. Just look at the bb kitten in red!).

 

There are better fancams than mine so I doubt you guys want to see it (can hear my voice too saying "why are you so pretty" and "how can you forget your own song" etc ) but I just want to share some things that happened to me.

- my flight was at 11am and when I reached the airport, I saw at the board that my flight was already "Closed" but I didn't lose hope and kept running, passing the checking and immigration etc (luckily there was practically no people) and I ran with all my might, wishing I still can make it and I couldn't remember the last time I ran that much. When I reached the gate and showed the staff my ticket, she said to wait until the other passengers unboard, which meant I didn't miss the flight! I was relieved and felt like puking at the same time after all that running.

- there were Chinese fanboys behind me (4-5 I think) and some time before the concert started, one of them got called out by the security. I that don't know Chinese didn't know what happened and tried asking his friends but then the fanboy came back. Later during the concert, I saw the fanboy had some cable connected to his phone inside his bag (the cable was curly like a telephone receiver cable). Not sure but maybe he was livestreaming and got called because the security saw that cable.

- just before the concert started, one of the 2 jies I mentioned spoke to me and I kinda happy having someone from Malaysia nearby. After the concert ended, I followed them out with the thought of spending some time with them before going back to the airport since I didn't book any place for the night (because I am cheap like that). But then they offered me to stay with them, saying maybe they can ask the place they stayed to put out extra bedding for me (I paid for it). And they did and I took the offer, sleeping in their room until 5am (my flight was at 7am). There are still nice and kind people in the world.

- another thing about those jies, one of them (the older one) smokes so we were hanging out at the smoking area and not long after, there was a Thai guy sitting on the stairs right beside us, smoking too. The older jie was very outspoken (she's the one talking to me 1st) and she suddenly talked to the Thai guy, mixing Thai with Chi and Eng. And then she offered the guy her cigarettes, asking him to try it. At that time I was like, "wah! This jie is really something!" I saw the guy a bit taken aback (well, can't blame him) but he thanked the jie for the smokes and offered his in return, saying "made in Thailand". The scene was really funny, and the jie and the Thai guy ended up exchanging FB. That jie was really something else. So cool! 

- and, I couldn't thank Izzie enough for making it happened. I was able to see bb kitten because of you. Thank you for everything! 

 

I went to the bookstore where YuZhou's Men's Uno were sold and found ElleMen but none of the past issues had YuZhou on the cover. They couldn't be on March and April was someone else, so did May and June. I looked for YuZhou's names on the cover too but they weren't mentioned anywhere. Not sure what version they sold so, I don't know but was disappointed.

You know... As I was translating the video, I truly feel that no matter what happens in the future, they were perfect for each other then and are still now. I can't imagine why and how anyone would think that they are a better companion for either of them or deserve someone else. 

JY and ZZ are simply matching whether it is their personality, attitude, temperament, EQ, IQ or looks. And they are so happy when they are around one another. They have even shown how they want the other person to be in a better situation than themselves. They are truly soulmates.

How can one be blind to that and instead of wishing both of them well and giving them our blessings, think that they should be or want to be separated?

Thankfully, they are the minority and yeah as you shared, we should not give them undue attention.

Have you seen any punching bag let his boss drive the car while he sit and sleeps beside him? Have you seen any punching bag that does not a bit of household chores and uses his boss as a backrest while watching television programmes?”

Seeing You Qi coming closer, Yang Meng warned loudly, “Don’t come near me! If you dare to touch me, I’ll hit you with this ashtray, do you believe?”

You Qi’s expression was that of “bring it on”.

Almost all the things, valuable and not valuable, had been smashed by them. Only a small aeroplane that was made up of bullet shell casings was left. That was a birthday present that BLY had given GH. This moment, it was being held in You Qi’s hands, using it to threaten Yang Meng.

“Try and smash it once if you dare!”

This howl was really “powerful”, You Qi behaved immediately. BLY hugged his beloved item back and eyed You Qi with a fierce gaze; his emotions have yet to calm down.

......

“There’s also you!!” BLY hollered angrily at Yang Meng.

Yang Meng’s small head drooped down.

......

“Both of you were wrong. Clean up this room in an hour’s time. Also, in the future go back to your home to fight, what’s with smashing my things?”

Pushing open the door, it was very quiet inside. Figuring that they had finished fighting, BLY heaved a soft sigh of relief.

Suddenly, his nose smelt a rich smell of stewed bones; the smell was so familiar that a few tears almost dropped out of BLY’s eyes.

That was stewed by GH before he left; a full big container of it, stored inside the refrigerator. Every time it was taken out to soak the rice in or cook noodles with it, it was the best solace for the “wife that was guarding the house alone”!

BLY rushed towards the kitchen, trembling in fear. You Qi was just hugging the container and drinking the soup. Gulp gulp, one mouthful after another mouthful, BLY’s heart shattered as he watched.

You Qi wiped his mouth and burped, looking at BLY with a satisfied expression.

“I’ve cleaned the room for you. I’ve also cleaned out the leftovers that were inside your refrigerator. Are you happy now?”

@bearology Thank you for my portion sugars again everytime i see them back together in gifs pictures and video's i can't get my eyes of them the are made for eachoter the chemistry between them you can feel it when you watch it there so cute together.

There was a short moment of silence before a hand smacked his shoulder, hard.

“What kind of question is that? Stop babbling and go to sleep. We have to get up early.”

JingYu grabbed for the hand that had hit him, wrapping it up tight in both of his.

“I’m being serious. Can you live without me?”

WeiZhou rolled onto his side, JingYu’s silhouette next to him highlighted by the blue glow of the clock behind him. There was a definite note of panic in the question, which caused WeiZhou to panic in return. He reached out, his hand hooking on JingYu’s neck.

“Huang JingYu! Why are you asking me that at 2 o’clock in the morning? What is going on in that head of yours?” WeiZhou could sense the agitation next to him. They had a small argument earlier in the evening, but, as usual, they talked it out and everything had been fine. At least he thought everything was fine. Maybe JingYu was still feeling upset about it, though.

“Anything could happen at anytime, Zhou. The world is a messed up place. Look at the floods. And with how much we fly. And crazy fans, hell, crazy people in general.”

JingYu had said all of this in a rush, words racing against each other to pass his lips, while his fingers gripped WeiZhou’s hand tighter and tighter. In turn, WeiZhou massaged the neck he held, trying to calm the tension of this man who sometimes thought too much.

“I should ban you from watching the news,” he said with a half hearted chuckle, in yet another attempt to ease the frantic mood of his boyfriend.

“Zhou…”

WeiZhou silenced JingYu with his lips. So this was it. JingYu had a tendency to get a bit melodramatic when they were going to be apart for an extended period of time. This was a bit more dramatic than usual, but WeiZhou could understand. Not only different cities this time, but different countries. It really brought out JingYu’s anxieties.

“You ask me if I can live without you?” WeiZhou slid his hand from JingYu’s neck, his palm resting where he could feel the rise and fall of JingYu’s breathing and the gentle beat of JingYu’s heart. WeiZhou had finally been just about to fall asleep, JingYu’s tossing and turning having kept him awake until then. Being brought wide awake by JingYu’s question had him feeling a bit unbalanced, as though he was being asked to dance while on a high wire. He took a deep breath and tried to gather his thoughts, but everything in his head made his heart hurt. He decided to just open his mouth and let his heart lead him.

“I can exist without you, JingYu. I did it before we met, so I can do it again if I have to.”

He could almost feel JingYu falling apart against him.

“I can exist without you,” WeiZhou rushed to say, “but I can’t live without you.”

Knowing that JingYu was just as confused as he himself was, WeiZhou pulled his hand free from JingYu’s grasp and smoothed the lines between the other’s brows with a gentle touch.

“I didn’t start living until I met you, so how could I live if anything happened to you? Until we found each other, I only existed. I was just a body taking up space in the world.”

WeiZhou traced his finger down the sharp ridge of JingYu’s nose, then back up to smooth over an eyebrow.

“Before we met, if anyone asked me if I was happy, I would say yes. If anyone asked me if I liked myself, if I liked my life, I would say yes to that too. And I was happy and I did like my life. Because I didn’t know how much better it could be. I didn’t know what true happiness was until I was next to you. I didn’t know what true joy was until I could just be in the same room with you. I didn’t know how it felt to be content and excited until the first time you held me.”

WeiZhou continued to trace the edges of JingYu’s face, his slow movements helping him to keep his voice steady as JingYu’s fingers on his waist urged them closer together.

“When we disagree and argue, I’m still happy, because I’m with you. When we can’t be together, just a text message from you, or even just seeing your picture on the internet, makes me excited. When I hear someone say your name, I have to force myself not to smile like an idiot, because even that makes me so incredibly happy I can’t hold it in.”

WeiZhou grabbed JingYu’s face in his hands. The words coming from his mouth sounded almost foreign to him. He had never thought of these things specifically, but each sentence rang with such truth and certainty that there was not a single trace of discomfort or embarrassment as he listened to himself. Everything he said, he meant, even though he had not realized it until that moment.

“You make me alive, you make me me. Without you, I would stop being the Xu WeiZhou that I am now. I would still exist, but not the true me. I would just be a shell without you, taking up space in the world again.”

“Zhou…” JingYu’s voice cracked as he said the name. As WeiZhou spoke, he had found it more and more difficult to breathe, and he had to keep blinking to clear his vision. “If anything ever happened to you, I…”

WeiZhou’s hand covered JingYu’s mouth, silencing him.

“Stop with the ‘ifs’, JingYu. All that matters is right now.” WeiZhou slid his hand, his fingers lightly tracing against the outer edges of softening lips. The quick breaths released between those lips drew WeiZhou forward, until he could lick the taste of those breaths from his own lips. “The only thing that matters is that I’m in love with you.”

If it was possible for a soul to explode, JingYu’s did at that moment, leaving him breathless and unable to move. The intensity with which WeiZhou had spoken extended into his kiss. Lips and tongue forced JingYu to open to them.  WeiZhou tangled his fingers in JingYu’s hair, locking his head in place, holding JingYu captive to a desperate display of longing and need. As though WeiZhou was trying to pour himself into JingYu, his tongue smoothed against cheek, tickled against the roof of JingYu’s mouth, and finally caressed around tongue. The flavors of individuals concentrated into a distinct flavor of the singular entity they became together. A flavor like a drug, that numbed the mind to anything but the other.

JingYu pulled WeiZhou to him, pressing their bodies together. He wrapped his leg over WeiZhou’s while his hands played along spine and muscle shuddering at every touch. JingYu fought the dizziness from the need for oxygen, not wanting to relinquish one moment of WeiZhou’s kiss, one second or ounce of the love and passion they created between them. JingYu groaned with his own desperation to be alive with WeiZhou in this existence. This was all that mattered, all that was needed.

But that wasn’t true. He wanted more. He needed everything.

WeiZhou gasped as he felt himself lifted into the air, rolled, and settled squarely atop JingYu. Gravity and JingYu’s hands worked together to pressure skin to skin, torsos welded to each other, legs tangling and untangling, only to tangle again as each man sought as much connection as possible to the other. Lips nibbling along his collarbone, fingers floating over his spine, toes sliding between his legs, all of these burned into WeiZhou, traveling through him to join and rage. The telling signs of JingYu’s own fire added to WeiZhou’s, his insides twisting painfully, aching for a release and relief that his gasps and moans could not provide.

“JingYu. I need you. Only you.”

The heat of WeiZhou’s lips on his neck and chest were like brands, scarring his heart as much as his skin.  JingYu was marked as this man’s in a way that could never be ignored or erased by any entity, living or ethereal. WeiZhou’s name emerged from JingYu’s lips, a soul defining mantra punctuated with the words ‘I love you’ as his fingers soothed and eased to bring WeiZhou to him.

With an unexpected movement that drew a yelp from WeiZhou’s lungs, he found himself looking up into JingYu’s face. Eyes flashing red with desire, lips murmuring unintelligible words of affection and need, all haloed and accentuated in a soft blue digital glow. WeiZhou reached up to caress the face above him, to make certain of the reality he beheld. As lips descended towards his, a flash of blinding sensation coursed into WeiZhou, setting his every cell spinning wildly.

JingYu groaned as WeiZhou shuddered against him, his hands holding WeiZhou’s face so he could indulge in the taste of uncontrolled ecstasy. Eyes fluttered open to stare into JingYu’s. Fingers scraped and clawed at shoulders and back, as though searching for a stronghold against the constant assault on nerves and senses. Yet it only inflamed the urgency between them, the insatiable need to give all of themselves to the other.

WeiZhou gasped as the force of JingYu exploding within him sent detonating shockwaves to his utmost sensitivities. But only when combined with JingYu murmuring “I’m in love with you” against his lips did his heart unleash the ultimate satisfaction. WeiZhou felt himself shattered and restored, demolished and rebuilt. By JingYu. By his desire, by his love, by their existence together.

Gasping breaths slowly subsided amidst lingering kisses and fleeting caresses, urgent needs replaced by comforting desire.

“You should try to sleep for a bit, JingYu.”

“I’ll sleep on the plane,” was the reply, as lips nestled and nibbled against WeiZhou’s ear.

“But…”

JingYu drew his thumb over WeiZhou’s lips to silence him.

“I’ll sleep on the plane. I’m here with you right now.”

JingYu pulled WeiZhou into a tightened embrace, hearts beating in time against each other.

“That’s all that matters to me, Zhou. You.”
