Maybe the director doesn't want to combine the two drama versions and the delated scenes because it is like denying the aired versions but it wasn't against the release of the cut scenes. But he would release just some of them. That's a mess çOç

I can't seem to move on either. Thank you for posting all the news and updates. This thread is the best ever!!

I think the director may have moved on to another project. Or may not have time. Or may be just helpless due to contract legalities!! I am guessing it will be due to some line in the contract saying so and so company owns all rights to the footage and blah blah...  

I think most artists would want to keep bettering there work if there is a slightest chance. So I want to believe that everyone did the best they could to get the director's cut DVD out. All we can now do is hope that the production houses see how popular the actors were and get them to star in another drama/movie. This is the most feasible dream right now!!!

This is the only reason i can think of at the moment. I don't want to think that he doesn't want to do anything with MLSHR anymore. I want to believe that his hands are tied. It is so hard to understand them but i just want to think about the good things.

I know how we all feel about the above voting page but 2016 is ending and it's now down to best actress 2016 (now till Mon) and best actor 2016 (next week after the best actress had closed). I hate that there's so much space between JG and JE on the last gif. I think JG tried to close the gap but JE didn't notice it. My goodness, these two, it's nearly a month after the final episode was aired but my love for the drama and them hasn't diminished a bit. Please don't pity me. I love my life and i love that i love the drama and the two lead actors, too.

They are still organizing a team to handle gifts (thankfully we had some volunteers), and they may accept international donations via PayPal, but we'll see. Some gift ideas included Korean beef, wine, cake, chocolate, red ginseng... it will also depend on how much money we can raise. There's already another fundraiser for a fanbook project for the main actors, director, and writer going on that has collected about $2,000 USD so far. I was at first going to donate some money there if they decided to exclude the director and writer from the intended recipients, but I guess they'll probably include them so as not to offend them... and I'll probably end up donating to both causes. Grrrh. Have to spend money to spend more money.

Just want to share this little info... Last week, the Japanese translation of the original Chinese novel Bu Bu Jing Xin was released in Japan!

It's only the first part for now but the second half will be published in a few weeks. That's great because it never has been translated into Japanese before (or any other language aside from Korean if I remember correctly? Please correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway, it's a great thing for the author, and for people who wanted to read this piece of literature but don't know any Chinese (like me). Most of all, I'm glad the broadcast of the kdrama in Japan was seen as a good opportunity to publish the original work. And the release of the novel will promote the drama, too. There's even advertisment on the book cover itself  So it's a win-win situation. The SBS version will be broadcasted in Japan (KNTV) from December 3rd on, by the way.

Maybe some day the novel will be translated into English and other languages, as well...? Actually, I don't get that Tong Hua can be this famous in China but the publishers in America or elsewhere haven't really catched on to her at all - I mean, she even lives in New York! Please correct me if I'm mistaken as I don't have much insight into the Chinese bookmarket and authors but judging from the number of drama adaptions of her works she MUST be famous to some extent, right?

It’s so beautiful to see how So falls in love with Soo. It's disgusting (at least to me) to see how Soo and Wook fall in love. I only wish they show us how Soo falls in love with So, we never get to see it thanks to time jumps.

Anyway episode 6 showed us how So wonders about Soo, how he worries about Soo, and how he's willing to risk his life for Soo (by defying a King's order).

On a shallow note:  This scene was hot. Like Very hot… they take the horse riding to another level… The way she holds her and the way they look into each other eyes...

Me rewatching some episodes and pondering some scenes and quotes. I just had to make a screencap + text of Lady Oh's statement. Oh, and funny thing is, when I had to open episode 20 and take a screencap of Wang So crying in front of Soo's urn, 5 seconds in, I started to tear up myself even after I've watched it so many times LOL I'M HOPELESS.

i rewatched at all 19 eps of moon lovers but couldnt bring myself to rewatch ep 20 and i dont think i ever will. LJG crying scenes are no joke the feels are so intense even when i watched a random joongi crying scene from ilijimae and i hadnt even started the show i started crying. While i was rewatching episode 18 and 19 i legit kept cursing at hae soo every time she spoke to gwangjong and hurt him or promised him she would never leave him and understood him, i just kept saying 'liar'. The most painful rewatch of my life.
