There are hardly any official news or information on this movie. All we can gather from the picture is Soo Hyun's curly hair.. Does all villains have curly hair? When Jang Tae Young turns over a new leaf, do they straighten it again? We hope so.

Maybe if they dont keep us in suspense and release a bit more information about the Movie, Life would be easier for us. We hope that the release of the movie will be the epic event of the year for the entertainment industry in SK.

Since Alibaba Pictures are involved as they invested millions of dollars into the Movie, hopefully this Movie will enter into many other parts of the world besides SK, Japan, China, Taiwan, HongKong, Thailand, Malaysia, Phillipines, Singapore and hopefully INDONESIA.

Since Alibaba Pictures are in control of the promotion and distributions of the Movie, Soo Hyun will be super busy in 2017, during the release of the movie as he is required to travel into the known and unknown territories for the said promotions.

Hello Rossy, Sure it is okay to post one or two of Dream High pictures here with Soo HYun, IU and Suzy. It should be very interesting to compare the pictures when REAL is released. We are already so excited to see the difference in the 3 of them after 5(?) years.

Also Rossy, do you have pictures of Han Ji Eun when she acted in "The Coin Locker" or any of her pictures in other dramas. We should write something on her also since she is the main female lead.

REAL in Paradise city

Was discussing with a few friends on the fate of REAL after THAAD. They mentioned about one actress being told to leave and another spokesman being terminated. They also mentioned that there were some cancellations of large events and also see some actors returning to their motherland after being in China for years. There was a drama from Korea which was postponed twice in the broadcasting  date due  to the delay in obtaining the approval from China. The drama was originally planned to be broadcasted simultaneously both in Korea and China. Turning back to REAL

From the most recent FM of Soo Hyun for ZioZia,  Soo Hyun's  confident fans assured him of their support for the Movie. Never doubt or underestimate the power of Soo Hyun's fans in China. With their great help, Soo Hyun survived the multiple ferocious attacks from the entertainment industry early this year without a scratch.

We have all the confidence that REAL will definitely do well in China. Alibaba Pictures is in control of the promotions and we expect the same manner of promotions for Movie Mission Impossible from them. We were so excited with the cameos of IU and Suzy though they will only appear in 1 scene. IU and Suzy also has large fan base in China.

Unfortunately the problem lies with the government and not with the citizens. At first, we thought that there should not be much obstacles for the movie as it was a 100%  korean product. The worst scenario will be that censorship board in China  may sensor more scenes and take a slightly longer time for the work. However, when we read of the korean drama, which is also a korean baby, is delayed for a longer than expected period (in fact till date not approved yet) we pray that REAL will suffer the same fate.

REAL is to be released early 2017 and we are doing the counting down. Hopefully there will be no delay as the best timing for the release should be at the same time with the official opening of Paradise City.

Thanks Rossy for this beautiful picture with the  magnificent image of Paradise City. Paradise City is the first integrated resort,  a new landmark resort for South Korea purportedly  providing tourists with the best overall vacation experiences. Besides the class hotels, there are art galleries and korean culture centres and other facilities. Many of the indoor shooting of REAL is within Paradise City. Undoubtedly, the art galleries and the culture centres will be occupied by many of REAL's pictures and souvenirs.

Are we too ambitious to wish that the hospital Jang Tae Young visits in REAL in Paradise City be converted into an actual hospital for Paradise City?. We learnt that the various places where shooting of REAL took place in Paradise City will be opened to the tourists.

Waiting patiently for the release of REAL and to see the awesome Paradise City from the movie itself since it is unlikely for us to visit the place personally.

While discussing about the impact of THAAD on REAL, we also discussed about the production costs of the movie. There are conflicting news about whether it was Soo Hyun or Paradise City that invested 7 million in REAL. Officially confirmed of investment in REAL was Alibaba Pictures also with 7 million. There must be other investors but what is noteworthy is that there is no claim yet that REAL is a billion dollar Movie.

We believed that claims of billions of dollars involved in the production of a Movie  is an effective way of promoting that  movie.  It is always taken for granted that a certain movie must be fantastic since so much dollars "pumped" into it. REAL did not use that way of of promotion. In fact, there is no promotion at all for REAL. The only most effective promotion of the movie is that KIM SOO HYUN is involved in it.

While we were informed that most of the indoor shootings were done in PARADISE CITY, the first integrated resort in SK, there may be some filming done in Hong Kong. Other than that, no news about the sighting of any of the actors involved at the airport leaving or coming back to SK. That being the case, we strongly believe that REAL is filmed mostly in SK itself. 

We cant claim that it is a low budget Movie because the filming was done mostly at the landmark resorts in South Korea and the costs should be quite substantial. However, we do believe that it may be comparatively lower than expected.

REAL (all involved in it) should be very proud of this achievement if inspite of REAL not being a billion dollar movie, it is a great hit in South Korea and all over the places where the movie is to be released. They will be proud that their effort for the past year are compensated with the success of the movie.

There is still another 50 over days to wait for the news of REAL. Hope it will come sooner than expected.

The suspension of the Movie is causing us anxiety

We know that it is an action noir film focusing on a ruthless and ambitious Jang Tae Young. He solves difficult problems for gangster and does not mind how and who he hurts just to achieve his main aim to build a casino and become the most powerful man. A run-in with a reporter changes his plans.

We also know that most scenes of the Movie were  filmed in Paradise City.

We also know that once Paradise City is officially opened, more tourist will get to know of REAL since Soo Hyun is the only spokesman

We also know that once REAL is released, more tourist will get to know Paradise City.

We also know that Soo Hyun will play Jang Tae Young and are very different from "the Producers" dorky BSC.

We also know that Soo Hyun shut himself out from the outside world for most part of the year just to concentrate in this Movie.

We also know that no other information leaked out from the Movie even after the wrapping up though all praised and respect for Soo Hyun from his co-stars.

We also know REAL is Soo Hyun's greatest challenge in his 8 or 9 years acting career.

We also know the promotions/distributions of the Movie is in the hands of ALIBABA PICTURES and so well taken care of overseas. CJ Entertainment will be investor and distributor for South Korea.

We also know that IU and Suzy will cameo in the Movie and so a reunion of Dream High

We also know that Han Ji Eun was chosen from 4,200 other actresses of the audition.

We also know that it took the team more than a year to prepare and film the Movie (excluding the editing)

We also know that Soo Hyun's artists' fans have been working hard to draw for this thread since only 3 official posters of the Movie were released.

We also know that no other information was released about REAL besides what we know.

In the cruel and inhuman entertainment industry, the motto normally is "you die or I die so it might as well be that you die",  and so it is very consoling  to hear of good friends for years existing in that industry especially of different sex.

Really looking forward to REAL and to see the 2 ladies together in one scene. We did not watch Suzy and IU latest dramas because we are too old and weak to withstand those heart breaks and heart aches. So REAL please come earlier than expected.

OMG Rossy, I can bet to the last drop of my blood (sounds creepily serious) that Jang Tae Young (Soo Hyun) will be honoured as the playboy of the century if he is also a playboy besides a cold blooded villain.

With Soo Hyun's eye expression, the electrocuting shock is sufficient to numb the body of the lady. His signature smile is sufficient  to stiffen all the muscles of the lady and finally his body language is enough to cause her to collapse. OMG and with the curly hair as in the poster. Ha Ha. Ha. Ha.

Do You recall Soo Hyun playing that young thief in "The Thief". There were a couple of scenes where he smiled at JJH in such a manner that can caused fluttering of the hearts. At that time, he was not meant to be a playboy but those smiles was sufficient to cause hearts to melt. Also in TMTETS, when he was self praising himself to be a handsome king and smiled, that was also killing.

Very confident that if JANG TAE YONG in REAL is also a playboy, it will be a plus plus plus point in the Movie.  It would be even more exciting if JTY is trying to woo IU and Suzy.
