*** MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon has talked about his friendships with ISW during April 15th broadcast of MBC’s “The Manager,” where he appeared as a guest. The episode featured him training with his students at the gym, including a sparring match between him and Im Siwan. During their match, Choo Sung Hoon adorably commented, “I can’t hit your face,” while Im Siwan responded with a laugh, “It’s okay.” After their sparring match, they wrapped up with a hug. In the evening, Choo Sung Hoon and Im Siwan went to dinner with their other friends, where the two revealed how they became close. He even attended Im Siwan’s fan meeting, of which Siwan commented, “After my fan meeting ended, the buzz was all about how I was close with Choo Sung Hoon. It was all ‘what on earth are you going around doing?'” They revealed that they met 12 years ago at an event and have been close for the past decade.   :heart2:

*** Im SiWan and Choo SungHoon's sparring match is indeed a highlight for me. They might seem like an unlikely pair, but they show to be close friends. At first, SungHoon doesn't feel right hitting SiWan's good-looking face, but he tells him not to hold back. The two exchange a flurry of blows that gets my heart pumping whenever SiWan took hits from a trained athlete.   :Megalol:

8 Heartwarming K-Dramas For Introverts To Enjoy

20230419164228_Yumis-Cells-Summer-Strike

An introvert is often described as someone who likes to spend time on their own. They are happy to focus on their inner thoughts and ideas, preferring the company of a few. Reflective and self aware, introverts prefer hibernating in their own self-made islands. K-dramas have given us several poignant narratives, delving into the minds of introverts, from slice of life scenarios to heartwarming stories. Here are eight K-dramas which make for perfect viewing for introverts as well as for those who are not.

Summer Strike

Yeo Reum (Seolhyun) has never got her due at work and is dumped by her boyfriend. Losing her mother in an accident is the final straw for her to quit her life in Seoul. Burnt out and tired, she feels liberated as she moves to a small seaside town. Here she meets a reticent and kindhearted librarian named Ahn Dae Beom (Im Siwan). Dae Beom had been a math genius with a promising future, but his circumstances had other things in store for him.

The slow-burn romance between these two introverted souls is amusing to watch as well as heartwarming. And the drama espouses how not everyone needs to adhere to societal norms and its diktats. A well-written narrative with wholesome characters, “Summer Strike” is worth a watch.

*** Kwanghee just started a brand new series called "Domestic Gift Factory". For the very first episode, he invited long time friend and ZE:A groupmate, Im SiWan as the first guest. Although it had been a while since the two last met, they  provided loads of laughter and never-ending joy. Although the episode was only 15 minutes long, the two had numerous entertaining reactions that's hard to forget. Whenever they appear on variety shows, they display a Tom and Jerry relationship. The two are quick to bicker with one another, and that fact doesn't change on this show. It's entertaining to watch them interact and playfully squabble with one another over the tiniest things, like mispronouncing a word. Since they've been together for a long time, it's naturally that the two know a lot about each other. On the show, the two share nostalgic, yet funny episodes, and old pictures.

“Of all the things I have loved, why have I never loved myself,” says Ki Seon Gyeom (Im Siwan), a champion sprinter.

Seon Gyeom, a self righteous young man, is not one to bask in his achievements. He takes down bullies in the team and stands up against the discrepancies even at the risk of getting disqualified. He takes to training with his focus being to hone the talent of those who lack resources. He meets Oh Mi Joo (Shin Se Kyung), a hardworking and passionate film translator who has battled sexism at the workplace but stands up for herself. After meeting Mi Joo, Seon Gyeom realizes it is okay to vent out all his pent-up feelings. Not happy being a sprinter, he takes to being an agent, a job he enjoys more. There’s also Seo Dan Ah (Sooyoung), the brusque CEO of a sports management company.

Having given up her dream to play soccer, she craves true love and friendship. Lee Young Hwa (Kang Tae Oh), an optimistic and sensitive art student, befriends Seon Gyeom and Dan Ah.

As these four individuals traverse the road to self discovery, they learn valuable lessons in self-love and self-belief.
