ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik shared his thoughts on being cast in KBS2’s weekend drama What’s With This Family?.

During the press conference for What’s With This Family? on August 13, Park Hyung Sik was asked for the reason he is constantly cast in different projects.

He said, “I think they think highly of me working hard even though I’m not very good. In order to meet expectations, I’ve been receiving personal lessons and tips from senior actors.”

He also said, “I will be acting as ‘Cha Dal Bong,’ the youngest son of the Cha family in this project. I’m the youngest child in my family as well so I like the fact that I can be whiny in the drama, just like how I am at home,” causing laughter.

About casting Park Hyung Sik, director Jeon Chang Geun said, “I didn’t have any bias towards the fact that Park Hyung Sik is a singer. I think we did well in casting him for the role.”

Park Hyung Sik wil be acting as ‘Cha Dal Bong’ the youngest son of the Cha family and an unemployed young man whose great passion overrules his ability.

One day, a girl named Kang Seoul (Nam Ji Hyun) appears in front of him, saying that they promised to marry each other 12 years ago. But upon finding out that the one who saved her life 12 years ago is not Cha Dal Bong, but his enemy Yoon Eun Ho (Seo Kang Jun), the relationship between the three gets twisted.

i am pretty excited for this weekend drama too!!  i love most of the cast ...most especially NJY ...she is so adorable!!  and i like the chemistry between her and PHS!!  can't wait for this!!
as for the older group ...i have been a fan of KHJ for the longest time ... she is sooooo beautiful and who doesn't know KSK??  he is ...for me ... one of my fave ajusshi actors!! hahahaha!!

The highlight preview is so good and funny,curious if all the show will be able to keep that vibe or will go into melo crazy land so familiar to weekend shows...I liked all the stories but the older sister story is the most funny,those two bikering like that with the musunderstandings so hilarious,i'm sure they will be my favorite if thinks continue like that and she mentaines her personality,so spunky and the youngest story is cute with the girl first love reversal that is his rival and not him ) curious what she will do when she realizes her dream guy with his proposal is the rich dude and not the one she thinks,curious how will she come to that conclusion that it's him the main lead,and i see she really is innocent,beliving such a promise from a young rich guy and even coming to make it happen,the so called marriagei felt quite sad for that because his kids are so caught up in their own messy busy lives that they totally put him aside even forgeting his birthday...i think in the last he said he has a one side love relationship with his children,how sad is that

Love the cast. Love the highlight video. So far, i really like the oldest sister and youngest child story line.I always love bickering couple.The oldest sister couple should be fun. The love triangle is also interesting. In Korean drama normally the pair will get together if they know each other since young. But it seems that the hero that saved the girl 12 years ago and promised to marry her is in fact the rich boy. What a surprise. I still hope that NJH and PHS will end up together because they seems so cute together. I love the Dad too. I can see that he really loves his children and it is such a sad truth that children always take parents for granted.
