I agree that Yuchen have the special healing powers since young. If not it will be kind of redundant to show Gary's little girl as the young Yuchen. And it's 2 more days to episode 9 and 10!!!

I've never realized that Yuchen could have some special abilities as well.  Here's where I stand now that we are almost at the half way mark of the drama:
I find our two leads' romance super interesting. Most drama don't really take this approach of starting the drama with the leads already in love (that's 7 plus years since they've dated), but somehow I quite like it this way. This approach will let us audience get straight to the mystery of the main conflict, which is how all our 4 men leads are dealing with their new abilities.  All in all, I do like our two leads together. They are comfortable & I'm actually happy that GuiGui took on this role. Han Zhang being pair off with Gui Gui gives a fresher take. 



This is by far my favorite scene.  The acting was well acted by Han Zhang. It helps that his voice was dub, because it gives a deeper & more emotional response.  In this scene, Yuan Shu was full of emotion. He was jealous because Yifei was holding onto Yuchen's hand and was enrage at the same time because Yifei said that Yuan Shu was going to kill Yuchen. It was such a heart pumping moment. I watch far too many time. 


As much as I'm enjoying the pairing of our two leads, deep down I am secreting hoping for these two to get together. I mean just look at them. They are just visually stunning together. 

So if you ask me about the preview for 9/10, I did watch it a couple of times. Since, I would love more scene of Yifei and Yuchen, I wouldn't mind if YuanShu ends up with her.

I personally think that Yuanshu has more chemistry with Liyi. Yuchen is more like a cute, younger cousin for him.

As much as I like the way you analyse @chewywonbin‌, I don't fancy Yuanshu with Liyi. Maybe it's just a preference. I like the Yuanshu with Yuchen because though Liyi might look more compatible in looks wise with Yuanshu. Probably her character is way too similar to Yuanshu, it does not create the 'opposites attract' aura. On the other hand, Yuchen is bubbly and naive in some sense, it blends in perfectly with Yuanshu's character. For Yifei, though he likes Yuchen a lot, he seems more like a guardian angel to her. That's my two sense worth! And ahhh!!! Tml tml! Episode 9 & 10!!

Finally the whole drama have already finished shooting! It means that no matter how others wanted for Guigui not to be the female lead, she managed to pull through! Now I'm just counting the days for the whole drama to finish airing. 2 episodes a week is torturous! (

Totally agree. Now I'm just trying to decipher if she and Yuanshu got back together or not. Hahaha.

Yeah. But I highly doubt she will go with Yifei. A 7-year relationship is hard to come by. (Based on personal experience. Lol. I'm married with my husband just last year, dated for 6 years and this year is our 7th year.) So I highly doubt so the writer will change the plot. It's wrong in so many ways. I rather lovebirds stay together. :x

Just watched episode 1-6 and LOVED it! But...but...worry that yuanshu and Yuchen will not get to be together at the end! NOOOO, I want my happy ending!

Ep9 Thoughts: 
Episode 9 was an intense episode today. One minute, I was mad at Yuan Shu and then when I saw how hurt he was, my poor heart had forgave him instantly. However, at the end of the EP, I am enrage by him again.  
I feel that Yuan Shu's character is imbalance. He love Yuchen too much to be acting like the way he does in EP9/10. I just believe that they've been together for far too long and there should be trust and communication. Hence, both our lead should be spear of going towards this typical separation. 

I love this scene. It was so beautiful and sad all in one. The letter was Yuchen's good-bye letter to Yuan Shu when she was still lock-up. 

Our poor Yuchen is heartbroken. I was amaze at how Yuchen's mother's response to knowing that our lead have separated (or in the process). Her mother just simply hug her w/out uttering a single word. Sometimes when we are depressed, all we need is a hug because no other words can make us feel better. Oh, by-the-way, did I mention....that I love the way GuiGui cries? She's amazing. 

All in all, it was not a happy episode for our two leads and will continue until next week as well. So for Yuchen's shipper with either Yifei or Chaochen, let's enjoy. On the other important plot point, the bad guys did make their move by working at ChaoChen's company & there's also a history regarding the discovery of the mysterious nature that's making our 4-leads unique. 
You didn't think I would forget to include this capture, did you? Too adorable for words. 

I find myself really liking Jiangfan. To me, JiangFan, ChaoChen, & Yifei are the flower boy of the bunch.

@spicystrawberry, After ep10, I'm loving Chaochen & YuChen as well. 
As much as I would love for Yuchen to end up with Chaochen or YiFei (visually these two just look good with GuiGui), but story wise, Yuchen has already locked up with Yuanshu (both heart & soul). I just don't want our leading man (Yuanshu, I'm talking to you) to hurt our leading lady by thinking what he's doing is for her own good.

@PhoenixAngel‌ hahaha. Our lives not as interesting as Yuanshu and Yichen's. LOL. @chewywonbin‌ I was upset with the way how Yuanshu dealt with his problems. Indeed when I saw the preview, my first instant reaction was I just wanted to shake Yuanshu and tell him to wake up and open his eyes! So much so I rather punch him if it works way better. That move is really low blow. As what Chaochen said in episode 9, in that 10 seconds, he broke 2 women's hearts - (1) the woman that he loves, (2) the woman that loves him. Sighs. Episode 11&12 will be another tear-jerker episodes.

To be honest, YS probably wanted to kiss LiYi, how can a person goes from being so in love with hid girlfriend of 7 years to just kissing another girl without any feeling for her? YS has a long way to prove that YC is actually the one for him IF they end up together at the end. If not, YC is better off with YF, they look absolutely gorgeous together.
