Hi Soompiers,
Valentine's Day is coming up! What better way to celebrate than with the forum that celebrates love in its most ideal form? This year, we will have a friendly contest to determine which shipping team/couple reigns supreme!
The purpose of this contest is to introduce newcomers to the wonderful shipping communities within Soompi. We all want to know who your couple is and what makes them special, so show us your best text, photos, gifs, artworks, videos, and more! We will display some of the best content on our editorial site to give everyone the chance to get to know your couple. 

The winning teams will receive a special member status on Soompi which will be reflected whenever they post (similar to FOS status, but with your own chosen unique name and color), as well as a special collection of avatars and banners. At the staff's discretion, one person from the fandom may be granted limited moderating privileges to moderate within their thread. These privileges will last for six months.
Here's how it will work. One person from each shipping thread may reserve a spot in the contest by replying in this thread with the couple's name and thread URL. Once the application period ends a few days later, a new thread will be opened, and one person from each fandom will add a post in the thread with all the necessary content (e.g., text, photos, videos, etc.). Only one post per fandom can be made. However, other people can coordinate in their respective threads to contribute and plan the content.

Round Information

Round 1: The Introduction (2/11-14)
In this round, participants were asked to introduce their couple to the general public using text and images. Round 1 was NOT an elimination round.
Round 2: Photos and Fan Art (2/15-19)

In this round, participants were asked to share their best images in the form of photos, fan art, graphics, and/or GIFs. Round 2 was NOT an elimination round.
Round 3: Essay (2/20-25)

In this round, participants are asked to write 500 words or less on why your couple belongs together and why you ship them. There may be no images, video, or other media. Round 3 IS an elimination round. The elimination will be based on EITHER the accumulated fan votes in all three rounds, OR the quality of your content as judged by the forum staff.
Round 4: The Final Six
Two separate brackets consisting of three teams each will participate in the final round. The first bracket will consist of the top three ships according to accumulated fan vote. The second bracket will consist of the top three ships as judged by the forum staff. The teams within these brackets will compete against each other for the title of winner. Thus, there will be two winning teams in the end.

The fan vote winner will be chosen by audience vote: You can "like" the post by clicking "Awesome," "LOL," or "Insightful" in the bottom right corner. The post with the most votes at the end of the voting period will win. You may not flag a post to attempt to (do and you may face a permanent ban). Nor can you create new accounts to vote for your fandom. The staff will be moderating heavily to ensure that participation is fair and respectful.
The staff pick winner will be chosen by the forum moderators and administrators: The staff will judge the content from all rounds based on quality and ability to follow the rules of the round.

There are few questions we wanted to ask:

1. One post each fandom-- Does it mean that all the photos, videos, gif and text that we wanted to post will be compiled in ONE post?

2. Do we need to choose the best ONE for each content (e.g video, photo, gif, text) or we can post as much as we want?(I supposed we need to use Spoiler tags if that's the case. Lol)

3. May we inquire for the actual start and end dates of this contest?

Just to make things cleaner, we may break it up into a couple rounds with new threads, where maybe one is text, another photos, etc., and if there are enough entries, then perhaps those can even serve as elimination rounds.
2. I think each round should have some rules and limits, but no, we weren't thinking of limiting to only one photo or video, etc.
3. I don't have specific dates, sorry! Start date should be early this week, probably around Tuesday, and end date should be a few days after Valentine's Day, because we'd like to give people some time to add content to the threads.

However, you can help out in your respective threads, however many that is, to plan the content, etc. Does that make sense?
