  1. Mina was asked what is her favorite sport. She said bowling and mentioned Hongki and being on GWGM Mina has not forgotten her time on GWGM. I believe they are still friends and still in touch, That made my day
  2. I waited until I could have full subs to watch the end because I knew that every word was going to be important. The writers packed so much into this last episode that this one had me guessing until the end. I spent most of the last episode yelling at Tammy. If she had cut Morgan lose and walked happily back into her workaholic life I wouldn't have spent so much of my time yelling at my laptop telling her what a dumb you know what she is. She let him go because she couldn't face losing him than felt no joy in her life because she lost him. Does that make sense on any level? Morgan's mom dying in an accident should be a life lesson for all of us. Nothing is promised not even the next moment so hang on to the seconds you are in because in the end that's all you have. Scarlet was cute. Her love story was so her. It was sweet and had an air of innocence. She might be a tough cookie in her professional life but when it comes to love she knew what she valued most. When her man came home on leave she grabbed for her moment. " I taking 4 days leave", then it was peace out and she was on her way. In the end, my favorite hands down was Song Ga Kyung. She had the most to lose and was the bravest of the three women. Song Ga Kyung made difficult choices in both her personal and professional life. The writers didn't make her into the typical hero who has no problem making the "right choices". She was a real woman with fears and flaws. When you have the power it's hard to give it up. When you have a man who is offering to love you that's hard to walk away from too. I loved how Song Ga Kyung stood strong, figured out a way to free herself from a life that made her unhappy and still had the guts to take down her mother in law. The ending with the three women riding off to find a place with no "red lights was just perfect. Plus my romantic heart loves the fact that the car they rode off in belonged to her x husband. Cheers to the writers. They did an excellent job of portraying a group of women who stood firm and strong in their power. This drama was a real winner and I will miss it
  3. My take on this is that when Morgan ask his birth mother why she gave him up, his mom said that it was hard but she loved him so much that she knew he would have a much better life if she gave him away. It was not about how much she loved him but that she couldn't be happy knowing that by keeping him he could not have his best life. Morgan understands now that it's not that Tammy doesn't love him it's that she can not allow herself to feel happy because she thinks that by being with Morgan she is keeping him from having a good life. As long as Tammy feels that way Morgan knows he can't win. Tammy will not allow herself to feel happy. She will suffer from guilt at holding him back. He loves her to much to watch that, knowing that there is nothing he can do to make her feel happiness. He wishes he didn't understand this, but Tammy is so like his birth mother in how she is trying to love him. Both feel that the only way to love and protect Morgan is to give him up. Given how they feel Morgan can't win. Another important woman in his life abandons his in the name of loving him, While what his birth mother did might have been right for him and her at the time she felt she had to let him good. I think Tammy is just plan wrong. Morgan is a man now not a child. He can decide for himself what he is willing to leave behind in the name of love. It the end Tammy walking away from Morgan is not about what he needs or doesn't need, It's about the fact that Tammy does not believe in herself and what she has to offer. While marriage can offer a lot of things I know an unmarried couple who have been happy and dedicated to each other for over 40 years, They have traveled the world, each had a career and do not have kids. They are one of the most loving couple I know even though marriage was never a part of their plan. That could be true for Morgan and Tammy is that is what both choose. Sadly Tammy is making it clear that she can't except living in the moment and trusting in Morgan. So in the end Morgan is right to walk away. He had no choice once he understood that for Tammy loving him would always be about letting him go, That is only way he felt he could make her happy about herself.
  4. This drama is beginning to make me crazy. I think that all three women may be together and brave in their business lives but when it comes to their private lives they wimp out and Tammy is the biggest wimp of them all. She goes on and on about what Morgan will do in the future and how they may fall apart in the future. No one is guaranteed a future. Throwing away happiness in the now will guarantee a future of unhappiness. The other women are also stuck in the same dilemma with Scarlet being the only one who shows a sign that she may smarten up and grab onto the hope of personal happiness. Right now, Tammy is a hopeless cause and I for one hope Morgan moves on. He deserves better than a person who is too afraid to live in the here and now. There is still hope for the other two. Maybe Song Ga Kyung can find her way to a relationship with her husband as there is still something there. Maybe without the pressure of his mother, they can build a more honest relationship. I think he reality loves her. Now that she is taking back her power from her mother in law and others there might be a chance for her to reach for happiness. There is not much time left in this drama for the writers to end it in a real but hopeful way.
  5. I agree with what you both said and I can't see a way forward for this couple. Morgan is the mature one. His heart may be broken but he see that as long as Tammy thinks the way she does he has to let her go. I don't have a problem with him. Tammy is the one who will never be happy. She can't live in the here and now because she is always looking for the end in the future. Let's face it Morgan was right when he told her everything ends. That is life. Do you give up happiness because it will end some day? If you do that you can never be happy.
  6. On viki there is a discussion about the age gap between Tammy and Morgan. Here too I have noticed some don't understand the attraction between a younger man and an older woman. They act as if 10 years is 100. No one would even give it a thought if the age difference were the other way around. Age is a state of mind not just a number on a calendar. I know 20 somethings that are mature with souls as old as time and 50 somethings that have never grown up. Love is about a meeting of minds and souls not about the number of years you have been on the planet. In many ways, Morgan is the one with wisdom and maturity, not Tammy. When you love and live together over time it's not the outer shell that matters and keeps you going it's the inner heart and spirit that ties you together. So hear to hoping Tammy grows up so she can match Morgan in emotional wisdom and maturity.
  7. When this drama started I was so into it. I loved that there are kick richard simmons women in it and that they are strong and fight about real stuff not just about getting the guy. I love the age difference and that they all struggle with balancing being strong and in change and being in relationships. Recently I am not so sure I like the turn in how the women all seem to have problems with being vulnerable in their personal relationships. I want one of them to be strong enough to be in love and take the risk to play their relationship out. I want these strong women to be strong enough to love and live well. Korea is not my culture but I want to believe that a modern mature woman who is smart and in charge can also step up and take charge in her personal life. Right now the story line is on the edge of letting me down. I need one of these ladies to win not just in their professional life but to win in their private life as well. They don't all have to get married but I do need one of them to find a way take the risk of loving well. Being strong and in charge does not mean you are doomed to live a lonely life.
  8. could not resist posting this it brings back memories of Mina playing for Hongki She is beautiful as ever
  9. I miss all of you too, still keeping up with Mina and Hongki but separately now. Both are working hard and in my heart still hope they can find their way back to each other
  10. I am with you I hope they keep to 24 eps as most of the time the storyline starts to drag and they fill up time with flashbacks when they add more. It's best when a drama leaves you sorry it's over as opposed to will this ever end. I have been disappointed by many of the latest dramas. There were just too many sad crazy endings and mixed up love triangles. This one looks to have promise as the cast is great and the storyline interesting. Let's hope the writters don't waist the talent they have been given
  11. It's been a very long time and while it echos here with the silence of all my missing friends I just could not help but post. How much I love Lee Hongki and how much he has been in my thoughts this last month. It's so hard to live through the betrayal of a close friend so hard to watch his downfall so my heart breaks for him. Hongki is a strong soul and honest to a fault. He will weather this storm stronger than before. May his coming days be full of projects and the love of his fans. May he leave for the military knowing we will wait for his return. As for Mina, congratulations on signing with a Koran agency. https://www.soompi.com/article/1312925wpp/japanese-actress-fujii-mina-signs-with-korean-agency My hope is that somehow in the future she is paired with Hongki again on a project. Their time together was magical so a girl can only hope. I remain forever a fan
