  Plot

  Ae-Ra (Lee Min-Jung) is focused on her appearance as she believes it will lead her to a better life. She then meets Jung-Woo (Joo-Sang-Wook) who studied engineering. They eventually get married, but they also get divorced. After their divorce, Ae-Ra goes through difficult times. Unlike Ae-Ra though, Jung-Woo becomes a successful IT developer and very wealthy. Now, Ae-Ra tries to seduce Jung-Woo to marry her again.

Lee Min-jeong to possibly star in "Cunning Single Lady"

Lee Min-jeong opposed at the news of her starring in the new MBC drama "Cunning Single Lady". Lee Min-jeong's representative claimed that she is revising the offer for the drama but hasn't confirmed to star in it yet. Discussions are still in order. If she decides to go along with the flow, she is making her drama comeback for the first time in a year since the SBS "Everything About My Relationship". She got married to Lee Byeong-Heon this August and has been enjoying her honeymoon. '미스코리아' 후속으로 내년 2월 방송돼

'새댁' 이민정이 복귀 초읽기에 돌입했다.

배우 이민정은 내년 2월 방송되는 MBC 새 수목미니시리즈 '앙큼한 돌싱녀'(극본 이하나, 연출 고동선, 제작 판타지오, 가제)의 여주인공으로 물망에 올랐다. 지난 8월 배우 이병헌과 결혼한 후 달콤한 신혼 생활을 즐기고 있는 이민정은 지난 4월 방송된 SBS '내 연애의 모든 것'에 이어 약 1년 만에 안방극장으로 돌아올 예정이다.

한 방송 관계자는 "제작사와 이민정 측이 긍정적으로 이야기를 나누고 있다. 아직 정식 계약서는 작성하지 않았지만 이변이 없는 한 이민정이 주인공으로 나서게 될 것"이라고 귀띔했다.

'앙큼한 돌싱녀'는 이혼한 여성이 재벌이 된 전 남편과 다시 사랑을 시작하기 위해 고군분투하는 과정을 그린 로맨틱 코미디다. 이민정의 상대역으로는 배우 주상욱이 나설 예정이다. 드라마 '굿 닥터' 이후 숱한 작품의 러브콜을 받던 주상욱은 고심 끝에 '앙큼한 돌싱녀'를 차기작으로 선택했다.

이 관계자는 "두 사람의 계약이 마무리되면 조연 배우 캐스팅까지 마친 후 1월 중순 촬영에 돌입할 예정이다. 드라마 '굿 닥터' 이후 대세로 떠오른 주상욱과 복귀 프리미엄이 붙은 이민정의 만남에 방송가의 관심이 집중되고 있다"고 덧붙였다.

'앙큼한 돌싱녀'는 현재 방송 중인 '미스코리아'를 후속해 내년 2월 첫 방송될 예정이다.

Lee Min Jung Considering a Role in New Drama “Cunning Single Lady”

According to an official at actress Lee Min Jung’s agency on December 30 during a phone call with Xportsnews, “Last week, she received a casting proposal for MBC’s ‘Cunning Single Lady’ and is currently discussing the drama. As it is a good piece, she is actively looking it over.”

The official said, “The female lead is bright and charismatic, and seems like she would match Lee Min Jung well.” So it seems that Lee Min Jung, who hasn’t appeared on TV since her marriage with actor Lee Byung Hun this past August, might be coming back with “Cunning Single Lady.”

“Cunning Single Lady” is the drama that will follow the currently airing “Miss Korea,” and will start in March of next year, telling the story of the hard efforts of a woman who tries to get back with her now-wealthy ex-husband.

Lee Min-jeong is very cunning

Actress Lee Min-jeong, who has been away from the entertainment industry since she married actorLee Byeong-Heon in August, is considering making a comeback to television next year. 

If she confirms the role on the new MBC drama "Cunning Single Lady", scheduled to begin airing in February, it will be her first role in nearly a year since "Everything About My Relationship" finished in April. 

One industry insider was quoted in local media saying that both Lee and the production company feel positive about the actress taking the role.

However, the expert added that the two sides have not yet signed a contract to make it official.

"Cunning Single Lady" is a romantic comedy about a divorced woman looking to get back together with her successful ex-husband.

Lee is being considered for the lead role of the divorcee. Actor Joo Sang-wook, star of the KBS drama"Good Doctor", is up for the part of the husband.

The drama will complete casting soon in order to start filming around the middle of next month.
