Go Ara has been attracting attention for her endearing "poodle hair," or that's what people are calling the 90's perm the actress is sporting for the drama 'Reply 1994.'

On October 18, she tweeted, "Hehe, having fun while diligently filming," and shared the above photo of herself.

In the photo, her short, permed hair indeed appears a little bit out of control like the fluffy hair poodles are known for, but she looks adorable and pretty nonetheless.

Just finished episode 1 with subs (thanks again to viki <3) and i think this drama is off to a good start. This episode was kind of at a slower pace compared to the episodes in AM1997(probably because of the episode length), but it was still funny hahaha
The mom and dad are basically the same character as they were in AM1997 except they are more lovey-dovey with each other LOL I hope they'll finally introduce the rest of the boarding house students in the next episode though :/ i'm waiting for baro and yoo yoon seok  
on a side note, i also hope that they will have a great OST and i JUST WISH that either Seo In Guk or Eunji (or just both of them) will sing for the OST because i think that a factor in why AM1997 was so popular was also because of its OST :') *crosses fingers so badly until they break*

Episode one felt...slow. Don't know how else to explain it. A large part of the episode was spent on the story of Kim Sung Kyu getting to the boarding house. While it is heartwarming, I feel that for a first episode it was too much. I do like all the characters though.
Anyway, I will still be watching, but I doubt it will become a crack drama for me.

Watched the first episode and I enjoyed it!!
I like how they focused on some characters this episode, I'm sure they'll focus on other characters next episode, so I guess it is Okay. 
Funny thing is I totally understand how Sung Kyu feels, lol It made me remember my first night at Canterbury (UK).
I also got lost, but the problem was I was in a foreigner country. My host mother told me ''It easy to come back right? You'll get it right?'' and I was like ''Sure, no problem, it was easy.'' I had no cellphone that day because they would give us one the next day. So when I tried to go back to my host family house, I got lost, all the streets looked the same, and all the houses also looked the same (like on harry potter film - in my country all the houses look different)!  I walked a lot, never finding the right street, went back, come back... it was night already and the streets were all empty. No taxi near, no soul around. No phonebooth too, but I didn't have any coins so it would be useless. I was so scared until I finally saw someone but it was a strange man, and since I was a foreign young girl alone there I was too afraid to ask him any help, maybe he wasn't a good person, and so it started to rain  a bit (I had no umbrella and it was cold) T__T I keep talking ''is gonna be okay'' while crying.. until I saw a grandma, and I trusted she would help me, in the end I was very near to my host family house (duh). Then finally I was at the right street, however the houses were all the same and had no number, and I had to knock to know if it was the right house, and it wasn't lol, the strangest thing was that they did not know my host family surname, and I was like ''they are your neighborns but you don't know them?'' Until I finally found my house. My host family was worried however they seemed so cold - didn't like to talk much and they went to watch Tv with all the family members there but they never called me... I went to my room and cried all night because I felt too lonely...  they didn't even let me use their phone - because it would be expensive - international call and I could call my family the next day. It was really scary and sad night. 

Huhuhu sorry people for talking about my life here, lol  I just wanted to share.. .
Can't wait to see other characters and their stories ^^
