You know as a buddhist, I was right annoyed with the praying scene.. I mean if TN believed that her pious prayers saved Maha from his illness (as opposed to the fact that he was not her blood line and so could never be hurt per se by the curse) .. why would she believe that buddha will listen to her prayers to hurt SY's baby (including making it a still born!) gosh.. woman.. you never pray to god/buddha to hurt other people! Almost all religions preach being merciful! And then she is slumped over in disappointed when SY gives birth to a son ... *er DUH!!* ... (other than the fact its the story line but asking for evil and praying for it to happen is like... er.... ...)

Lim Joo-eun in "Empress Qi"

Actress Lim Joo-eun is starring in the MBC drama "Empress Qi" to conflict with Ha Ji-won, in the shoes of Baek Jin-hee.

She starts appearing in the drama mid-March.

She takes on the character of one who becomes the empress of Yuan Dynasty next to Tanasili.

Lim Joo-eun is going to create a new route of conflict with Ki Seung-nyang (Ha Ji-won) and will be in control of the latter half of the drama.

Lim Joo-eun starred in the dramas "HON - Soul", "Wild Romance", "Arang and the Magistrate" and more including the recent SBS drama "The Heirs". She's going to appear as a different person in the historical drama "Empress Qi".

Now I'm only hoping that it won't be SN suggesting TH to marry that girl!
I wonder why Bayan didn't present his niece as a concubine...? If SN hadn't shown up, they wouldn't have given a girl to the emperor...

I don't know why but i was kind of happy hearing that there will be a Second Empress and that it will be Im Joo Eun (i like her acting). We need new antagonists after ET clan is gone, or else there won't be any story, any suspense for more than 10 episodes x).For sure SN will see that BA and ED are both hungry for power and that they won't allow her to become Empress. Eventually ED will take away from her the little power she had on the inner court, it's also possible that it is the new Empress who raises little Ayu. In a way, SN may have to start everything all over again.. she'll have to find new allies since BA won't be supporting her anymore.
PS : Im Joo Eun will be a perfect antagonist x) I mean, her character is Bayan's niece and Taltal's cousin... she must be good with schemes and tricks. >:
@tucci Bayan was reluctant to present his niece as a concubine probably because ET can use her to blackmail him and put pressure on him. So i guess he didn't want his niece to be ET's hostage. And in episode 6, he was hoping for her to be Tahwan's first wife, but ET and TN showed up so...

OMG conflict again.. I think EK cant be 60 episodes, It can be 100 episodes haha.. character of Lim Joo Eun must be same with Tanasili, as article said above "in the shoes Baek Jin Hee"?! wow I'm getting afraid so about Lim Joo Eun's character was prettier than uri SN (more powerful ohhh nooooo) or TH falls in love with her (anndddwaaeeee..)* or LJE does an evil/illegal/abuse something for SN, she has antagonist role?! TN will be die so she changes TN's place to fight SN for become an Empress?! :-SS oh BA will be betray SN 'cause conflict of who wants to be Prime Ministry in the future therefore He wants his niece marry with TH** #meonya?! yaazzz let TT becomes Prime Ministry OK!!!

Before, he and Bayan saw Wang Yoo as nothing. They even let him kneel before them at the Yuan borders. But now, I can see that he respects Wang Yoo and even considers his ideas in creating plans. He also knows that Wang Yoo is Lady Ki's mysterious "hero", a guardian angel that helps her from a distance, but he respects Wang Yoo's decision to keep it unknown. I wish the writers will show us more Tal Tal scenes. I'm now a proud fan of Tal Tal.

After EP 35, I just laughed my head off.
ET is really going nuts, that scene was just all around hilarious!!!
And I also like the touching scene between DK and ET, a true father-son bonding time.
Aww WY!!!!! JJM acting as a warrior and a King is so handsome. Perhaps, he too was a King in his past life.

Like DK, he is a murderer too but I felt sorry for him when he was with ET and told him I'd rather die than seeing you like this
Oh well but in the end even if I would feel a little sympathy for TN it wouldn't be enough to erase all the 2000 lives including an unborn child she killed and doing black magic but I might feel a little sorry for what she did to herself and not cuz she is a good nice character

Okay, I just remembered that I'm happy SN walked over to TH's room rather than be carried there like a sack of potatoes although her purpose to going there was known by hongdan when she said she will entertain the emperor ... maybe cuz to TN and the others she has supposedly slept with TH the first time so no need to hide it anymore

I know you all talked about baby Maha issue but I just wanted to add something .... maybe TH's uncaring attitude towards Maha stems not just from him being TN's son but also from him thinking that Maha will be raised by the ET clan and be just like them when he grows up and adopt their bad side .... of course he should know that the child is an innocent baby now and doesn't deserve TH to be cold towards him

As for SN knowing Maha is her son ...
I think SN will be scared that TH would hate the child and she wouldn't tell TH about him being WY's son
She may either raise him as an adopted child but make TH soften towards him and love him equally seeing SN treating him as his real mother or she would send him with WY to be the next goryeo king. If that's the case, then why would TH be so insecure about WY in the coronation scene .... I don't know really... it might be the child or did WY and SN have some closure before she saved him and that's what's bothering TH. What if SN and WY were in this together and SN saved him so TH is feeling insecure because of this bonding or maybe it has to do do with the reason she saved him from in the first place.
I know my thoughts are contradicting but my mind has gone blank with all the speculations

So they will introduce a new rival to SN now .... I have seen evil harming the good before in dramas but this drama is taking it too far, good thing SN is such a strong rival or it would have been frustrating to watch her as a weak victim to TN ... Gosh!!! it's already frustrating to watch TN doing all that evil to her while she is strong... Enough of the ET clan come one!!! I could imagine myself with Gaston (from beauty and the beast ) and holding the pitchfork while heading to yuan singing "kill the beasts (not just one ) " song. Seriously, it's like all the cats have given up their 9 lives to hand it over to the ET clan!!! :-w
But I hope the new villain won't be as evil as TN... and go into trying to kill SN and Ayu too X(  That would reliving another clone of TN :-w

Well about TH telling the governors and DK that ET assigned his younger brother to the throne...
Oh well what goes around comes around like SN said. Sad thing is,  Maha is also caught in both cases too

I'm glad WY is being busy training a new army ... instead of being sad over SN, this mission can give him a little hope again.
 I'm thinking about the sad WY we've been seeing lately, yes SN is not all happy but with her new child and TH by her side whether she began to love him or have feelings for him too, this has brought her hope and some happiness again. But, WY is sad till now, so if SN will stay forever with TH and develop feelings for him (which is probably), WY will be the sad one till the end

DK:  What is it father?ET:  I dreamed last night that YBS steal my cache.DK:  Just tell me where is it so I can help you, father.ET:  What?  You also want to steal my money and power!DK:  Just kill me now, father.  I would rather die than to see you like this.I thought ET dying out of senility turns me discontented.  But seeing DK hurting and shedding tears, is one way or another, makes them pay slowly for all the miseries they brought upon mercilessly to their victims. For sure, this is just the beginning of their sufferings and I hope for more anguish before they will all finally meet their demise.  Just a simple wish.
