Who would’ve thought that this real-life couple will be offered to star in a drama together?

 

Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah are offered and considering to star in the upcoming drama titled “Our Blues”.

 

According to AM Entertainment, “Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah are currently discussing after receiving a proposal to appear in the drama together.”

“Our Blues” will be directed and written by Kim Gyu Tae and Noh Hee Kyung, respectively. The two have previously worked together in the dramas “The World They Live In”, “That Winter, The Wind Blows”, and “Live”.

 

The upcoming drama will tell the stories of various people, and it’s been said that actors Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, and Han Ji Min are also offered to cast in “Our Blues”.

 

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah have been dating for 6 years already.

 

Both are managed by AM Entertainment and are continuously fulfilling their individual schedules.

 

Shin Min Ah recently starred in the movie “Diva” in 2020 and has an upcoming drama titled “Sea Village Cha Cha Cha”.

 

Kim Woo Bin, who was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017 and has now completed his treatment, is back in the spotlight since 2020 and has been doing various photoshoots for magazines and different brands.

And 2021 continues to ~surprise~ us with more exciting series! Real-life couple Shin Min Ah and  Kim Woo Bin are currently in talks to lead the drama Our Blues, along with Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Jung Eun.

While there's no reported plot yet for this K-drama, here's everything we know *so far* about Our Blues:

 

Who's in the cast of Our Blues?

We know you're already kilig with this *possible* Min Ah and Woo Bin project but here's the sitch: The two will not portray the role of a couple in the K-drama,  per Soompi. Instead, once the actors accept the offer, Min Ah will be paired with Byung Hun, Woo Bin will star opposite Han Ji Min, and Cha Seung Won's onscreen partner will be Lee Jung Eun. Interesting, huh?

 

AM Entertainment, which handles both Min Ah and Woo Bin, stated that they have received casting offers to lead Our Blues. BH Entertainment, Byung Hyun and Ji Min's management label, said that they are positively considering the proposals. On the other hand, Cha Seung Won and Lee Jung Eun's agencies haven't disclosed anything yet. We're keeping our fingers crossed and hope that all the mentioned actors will accept this new show!

 

To give you a brief background about Min Ah and Woo Bin's relationship, the two have been dating each other since 2015 and are now on their sixth year as a couple. They reportedly became close after endorsing the clothing brand Giordano. Since then, they have been vocal about their feelings in public, and Min Ah shared in an interview that they would often cheer on each other for their new projects. Not only that, the actress has also been very supportive of Woo Bin when he was diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer and was seen accompanying him during his radiation and drug therapies. #TrueLove

 

 

 

 

Who's the writer behind Our Blues?

No Hee Kyung, who gained recognition for her gripping melodramas that are guaranteed to make you sob, crdwill write Our Blues. She has a loooong list of K-dramas in her portfolio but her most prominent works are That Winter, The Wind Blows (2013), It's Okay, That's Love (2014), and Live (2018).

 

In 2019, the screenwriter's drama HERE has already confirmed its cast, including Min Ah, Byung Hun, Ji Min, Nam Joo Hyuk, and  Bae Sung Woo. It was supposed to film overseas but due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the series was delayed. This made way for No Hee Kyung to focus on her new project, Our Blues.

When will Our Blues premiere?

There's no scheduled date yet, sis! However, the cast and crew of Our Blues are planning to start filming in the second half of 2021.

Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min have been offered lead roles in No hee Kyung written drama 'Our Blues'.

 

Real life couple Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah are in talks to star in the new drama Our Blues [working title]. The multi-starrer drama is also likely to cast Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min. The No Hee Kyung drama is one of the most expected dramas of 2022.

 

Soompi reported that BH Entertainment that manages Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min has confirmed the news. The Mr Sunshine actor and Spring Night actress' agency stated: "Lee Byung Hun and Han Ji Min received casting offers for 'Our Blues' and are positively considering [the offers]."

Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah's agency AM Entertainment also reacted to the news. "They have received casting offers for 'Our Blues' and are in talks [to star in the drama]," the agency said. The drama is also said to have made an offer to Cha Seung Won and Lee Jung Eun. But agencies of the actors are yet to respond.

 

Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah are real-life couple. They made their relationship public in 2015. This is the first time the couple will be seen together in a drama. But Soompi reported that according to insiders Kim Woo Bin will be paired opposite Han Ji Min and Shin Min Ah will star opposite Lee Byung Hun, and Cha Seung Won will be seen opposite Lee Jung Eun in the drama Our Blues.

No Hee Kyung Drama in the Making

It can be noted that No Hee Kyung [screenwriter] had announced the drama Here in 2019. It was a multi-starrer drama supposed to star Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, Bae Sung Woo, and Nam Joo Hyuk. But the project did not take off due to COVID-19 situation. The drama was supposed to be filmed abroad.

 

Thus No Hee Kyung started working on the drama Our Blues and looks like he incorporated Here actors into Our Blues and it looks like Nam Joo Hyuk has been replaced by Kim Woo Bin. No Hee Kyung is known for his screenwriting for dramas including Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo starrer That Winter, The Wind Blows, Jo In Sung and Go ng Hyo Jin starrer It's Okay, That's Love, Go Hyun Jung, Kim Hye Ja starrer Dear My Friends.

Actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a are considering Noh Hee-kyeong's latest "Our Blues".

 

IM Entertainment told The Celeb on the 20th, "It's true that the two have been offered roles in Noh Hee-kyeong's latest work and they are in the talks of it".

 

"Our Blues" is a 20-episode drama newly presented by Noh Hee-kyeong. Director Kim Kyoo-tae will work with her again after "Worlds Within", "That Winter, the Wind Blows" and "Live". Previously, she was preparing for "HERE", which is based on NGO, an international non-profit private organization, but changed her production direction to "Our Blues" due to the aftermath of the spread of COVID-19.

 

Lee Byung-hun and Han Ji-min have also been mentioned as the cast.
