It’s a fan account from a Japanese fan who attended the fan meeting. She wrote the account in short messages, somehow tweet-like. So it may be a bit messy. She added her own thought and recalls. Hope you enjoy!

 

[That Winter~ Professional report 1] I immediately spotted Jo In Sung and Kim Bum’s posters when I entered the venue. When the fan meeting started, the two appeared on the stage with promotional video playing on the big screen! The crowd rose to mad cheers!

 

[That Winter Report 2] Photo call started right after JIS and KB greeted us. Journalists flooded towards them and quickly had them surrounded, showing the level of anticipation and attention TWTWB is receiving among media outlets. Due to time constrain, only two questions were allowed from the journalists. First one is ‘Your crying scenes are really impressive, how did you do it?’

 

[That Winter Report 3] In Sung said, ‘Yes. It’s pretty exhausting to tear. (Smile).. I need an ambiance before I can cry. Of course I rely on SHK’s lines sometimes. All in all, thanks to Oh Young.’

 

[That Winter Report 4] Kim Bum said, ‘Like what In Sung hyung said, I rely on the help from the surrounding environment.’ Second question raised was that in JIS’s eyes, what is the similarity between KB and Jin Sung, and what’s the similarity between JIS and OS in KB’s eyes.

 

[That Winter Report 5] (Actually they couldn’t see the journalist who asked the question since it’s so crowded around them.) They keep turning around, and seemingly looking for the journalist, causing the audience to laugh. They were so cute. In Sung replied, ‘KB is just like JS. He’s really close to sunbae(senior) like me. If I have to name a difference, I would say Kim Bum is more composed.’

 

[That Winter Report 6] Kim Bum said, ‘In my heart, In Sung hyung is the same with Oh Soo. Oh Soo is a part of In Sung hyung! But the part about women…(laugh)’ In Sung added while smiling, ‘The playboy thing is never true.’(smile) Kim Bum, ‘Yes.’(laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 7] The question time is over! The Fan Meeting officially started! First, it’s about Oh Soo. MC asked, ‘JIS please introduce to us what type of person OS is.’ In Sung, ‘A bad guy that conned OY because of the debt he carried due to a woman problem.’

 

[That Winter Report 8] MC, ‘A bad guy? But a very charming one!’ In Sung, ‘You guys may have seen someone like him around you, be careful!’

 

[That Winter Report 9] There is a table in front of them. The MC realized that In Sung seemed to feel a bit restrained sitting down, so she asked right away, ‘Feel a bit restricted because of your long legs? Are you alright?’ In Sung replied, ‘Oh no no, my legs were actually longer, I cut a section off and left it at home!(laugh) Ah, what if I can’t put it back on after I go home?!(laugh)’

 

[That Winter Report 10] He told many jokes like that. I can’t recall all of them as I’m writing this account. Afterwards, videos of the famous hit scenes were shown to us, and the two unbelievably dub their characters live. KB re-enacted his character and caused laughter from the audience.

 

[That Winter Report 11] MC asked, ‘Which one of those scenes is memorable to you?’ In Sung replied, ‘Being poured on head with wakame soup by Hee Sun is pretty memorable. We just met not long ago then. I thought I was going to turn ugly, but I didn’t expect the soup to be that delicious!’

 

[That Winter Report 12] MC said, ‘Thanks to Ms Hee Sun for the wakame soup. (laugh) It seems to be really delicious. But wakame soup never should greet head that way in reality. (laugh)’ In Sung, ‘Oh, there’s another one. The scene in which I threw the flower to the river with Kim Bum. Snow miraculously fell like we imagined, we all love this scene so much’

 

[That Winter Report 13] Now, the session on OS’s famous scenes was over. And they moved on to talk about OS’s fashion. Three boards were brought onto the stage. I won’t go into details.

 

[That Winter Report 14] MC, ‘Suspender is really something awesome! In Japan, even slightly chubby guys can’t handle suspenders.’ Both of them laughed. KB added, ‘It’s really popular in South Korea right now!’

 

[That Winter Report 15] He continued, ‘I was pretty angry at my manager who bought exactly what hyung wore in the drama at Dongdaemun!’ MC said, ‘so you created a trend!! In Sung, do you wear suspenders in daily life?’ In Sung, ‘that’s my must-have item for sleep! I have to wear suspender while sleep.’

 

[That Winter Report 16] ‘And I never forget my tie neither! (laugh and caused the audience to laugh as well)’ In Sung, ‘why are you all laughing? I’ve always been doing this!’ (laugh) By the way, KB was laughing so hard all along.

[That Winter Report 17] Knee length coats! MC, ‘No one can pull off such coat other than In Sung, right?’ In Sung, ‘That’s my bathrobe,(laugh) I wear it after shower! Kim Bum, don’t you wear it too?’ KB, ‘Yes, I do. (laugh)’

 

[That Winter Report 18] In Sung, ‘Korean actors all wear it after shower!’ MC, ‘I see it’s a must-have item for Hallyu stars!’ In Sung, ‘Yes, must have!’ This entire conversation brought nonstop laughter to the audience.

 

[That Winter Report 19] Last board about OS’s fashion. Blue coat!(the one OS wear to gamble in the 1^st Ep) He’s holding a wine glass too. MC, ‘Wow, blue suit!’ In Sung, ‘That’s my style for working out, and I take a sip of the wine when I feel thirsty.(laugh) And that’s when the photo was taken.’

 

[That Winter Report 20] ‘KB, you are like this too, aren’t you?’(laugh) KB, ‘Yes, just like this.(laugh) But I wear red suit!’ MC, ‘You too have the same style!’(big laugh from all on the stage and the audience) KB whispered while pointing at each photo board, ‘Ah! Working out, then shower, then sleep!’(laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 21] In Sung, ‘(laugh) It really is! Working out with suit, wearing coat after shower, and don’t forget to clip on suspender before sleep’(great laughter from audience) MC, ‘Awesome conclusion, thank you!’ In Sung, ‘By the way, today’s pink suit is for breakfast, otherwise doenjang(bean-paste) soup wouldn’t be as delicious as it was.’(laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 22] MC, ‘(laugh) Pink is for doenjang soup! And the soup wouldn’t be delicious without it, would it?’ In Sung, ‘Everyone! You all know I’m joking, right?’(laugh) And till this point, the section on OS’s scenes and fashion was successfully concluded.

 

Additional fan blog: JIS’s legs are just too long, astonishingly amazing! I’ve been to JIS’s fan meeting for three times now, and I’ve never seen anyone as beautiful and perfect as him!

[That Winter Report 23] Now they moved on to Jin Sung. MC, ‘KB please introduce JS for us.’ KB said, ‘Jin Sung is a man who really likes Oh Soo and holds great loyalty to friends.’ MC, ‘Such a loyal friend! What’s your own view on Jin Sung’s loyalty? Can you accept it?’

 

[That Winter Report 24] KB, ‘I myself like and look up to In Sung hyung as much as Jin Sung does. I think it’s friendship between men? I sincerely cherish such friendship. But JS’s intense loyalty is more like protection!’ In Sung, ‘Protection.’

 

[That Winter Report 25] MC, ‘KB is protecting! You two do like OS and JS. Now we are going to show JS’s famous scenes.’ (Afterwards) MC, ‘JS seems to be a straightforward guy, I want to say I like it. Are you the proactive type of person in real life? Or more of the passive type?’

 

[That Winter Report 26] KB, ‘I think I’m more of the proactive type. I say what I want to say. I separate good and bad pretty clearly.’ MC, ‘Oh, okay. Let’s hear what In Sung wanna say, alright?’

 

[That Winter Report 27] In Sung, ‘I’ll let you guys imagine.’ MC, ‘So which type?(laugh) There are many types to imagine.’ In Sung, ‘Yes, I think so. It’s up to you guys.’ MC, ‘Nice answer.’

 

[That Winter Report 28] MC, ‘Alright, let’s check out Jin Sung’s fashion, what you think, Kim Bum?’ Kim Bum, ‘I think Jin Sung prefers leather jacket, more casual outfit match.’

 

[That Winter Report 29] MC, ‘This style is more likely to be copied by others than Oh Soo’s, isn’t it?’ She continued, ‘Now, we are gonna move on and watch some BTS clips.’

 

[That Winter Report 30] In Sung, ‘It’s our first time watching it!’ MC, ‘Really? Then let’s watch together!’ (There are lots of funny scenes. The most memorable ones are the cake-baking scene, and the suicide scene by the river. Oh Soo saved Young who walked all the way in the river. Soo had a hard time carried Young after many shots. They kept sliding off the frame, so it took them a while to complete that particular scene.)

 

[That Winter Report 31] MC, ‘Harmony overloads on the set! But the scene by the river is just…(Laugh)’ In Sung, ‘It’s my fault! Not Oh Young’s at all. I lack of arm strength!’

 

[That Winter Report 32] Kim Bum, ‘It’s neither due to Oh Young’s weight nor hyung’s lack of arm strength. Oh Young’s coat was soaked with water, that’s why she became heavier after every single shot.(laugh)’ MC, ‘I see Kim Bum did some supervision there.(laugh)’

 

[That Winter Report 33] (con’t) ‘The coat was soaked with water, but it’s not noticeable on TV. That’s what Korean drama really is!(lauh) Oh right, taking about this, the director is here today, isn’t he? Please let’s all welcome Director Kim who took his precious time off for this event! Welcome!

[That Winter Report 34] Director Kim Kyu Tae is on the stage! Director stepped onto the stage proudly as the applause rose for him. Both actors stood up and greeted him. Director Kim, ‘It’s my first time meeting you, I’m Director Kim.’ And he posed shyly. (laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 35] KB, ‘director is always nervous when he’s on the stage.’ MC, ‘I understand that, (laugh) I wanna ask about director your views on the two actors. First, how’s In Sung as an actor?’ DK, ‘He has brilliant kissing skills and unique breathing rhythms.’ (laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 36] MC, ‘So he’s a good actor with brilliant kissing skills?’ DK, ‘I’d say he excels in coordinating the kissing scenes in order to bring out the best image, rather than saying his kissing scenes fit into the actual situation. That’s what he’s good at as an actor. (laugh) Though I have no idea how he is doing in real life. (laugh)’

 

[That Winter Report 37] ‘I’m kidding, he’s really awesome in that! (laugh) It’s such a pity that there wasn’t any bed scene. (laugh, and at the same IS was so shy over that comment.)’ MC, ‘How’s KB then?’ DK, ‘Kim Bum is really a man more beautiful than flowers, I really envy him.’ (laugh) The three really look very close during the entire session.

 

[That Winter Report 38] MC, ‘It seems you three are really close. Do director Kim ever feel that with other actors before?’ DK, ‘I’ve started collaborative relationship with KB since my previous work ‘Padam Padam’, and I got close with In Sung over drinks.’ (laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 39] The laughter from the crowd was so long and loud that blocked my from listening to the next question.

 

[That Winter Report 40] DK, ‘You give too little time for me to talk, I still have more to say. How about I holding a Fan Meeting next year?’ Time really flies as our session with the director is about to over. MC, ‘It’s such a fun time talking to you, director! Thank you!’

 

[That Winter Report 41] DK, ‘Thank you. I’ll see you all next year during FM.’ (He then stood and made his exit. Both actors hugged him, and IS escorted him back to the backstage. He then quickly ran back to his position.)

 

[That Winter Report 42] IS, ‘You are at Director Kim’s Fan Meeting, I’m your MC today, Jo In Sung.’ (laugh) KB, ‘I’m Kim Bum.’ (laugh) Both, ‘Thank you all for coming.’(laugh)

 

[That Winter Report 43] Then it’s time for reenact all the famous scenes! IS draws two lucky numbers while KB draws one. It’s KB’s turn first with his motorcycle kiss.

 

[That Winter Report 44] Actually, it’s not even a real kiss!!(laugh) KB just cover them both under the blanket, that’s all!!

 

[That Winter Report 45] The one with IS is him putting on earmuff for the fan!! (I may have the following ones in wrong orders. (>_<))

 

[That Winter Report 46] The other fan was supposed to reenact the ‘bed scene’ with IS under close-up shots. Because they couldn’t lie down, so they tried to get the cheeks very close to each other!! \(//∇//)\

 

[That Winter Report 47] They called up for three additional fans, and the crowd went feverish. And they are reenact the scene where IS putting on necklace for the fan. It seems that they can bring the necklace back, same goes to the earmuff. ^^

 

[That Winter Report 48] The last re-enaction is of course the cotton candy kiss. They didn’t use real cotton candy for it. (alright then.) But he really put his face close to the fan. OMG!

 

[That Winter Report 49] The above is all about the fanmeeting, sorry for it not being very organized. Please allow your imagination to flow for the details. It’s time to say goodbye. They took photo with the entire audience.

 

[That Winter Report 50] They walked off the stage, shook hands or high-fived with fans in the front rows. They went back up the stage and made their last greeting.

 

[That Winter Report 51] They both expressed their gratitude and anticipation for us to love them more. After KB’s done with his speech, IS added, ‘Actually KB is not in a good condition today, he was hospitalized and wasn’t able to finish any schedule yesterday. He came here immediately after his discharge.’

 

[That Winter Report 52] KB kept shaking his head during IS’ ment. They made their exit while waving to the audience and throwing kisses. ^^

 

[That Winter Report 53] I was made aware that the two are really close friends. It was a event worth going. I want to thank In Sung, Kim Bum and Director Kim to make this trip to Japan despite busy schedules. And thank you all for reading this report, thank you all. There are so many more that I didn’t cover, but I believe I’ve delivered the atmosphere of the event.

regarding 2013 Korean drama awards , 
I could understand that Lee Bo Young won the grand prize , and could understand that TWTWB writer did not win .. but
the DIRECTOR of TWTWB did not Win !!!!!!! 
So strange ! 
it is not like I have watched all 2013 dramas but I have did to most of these nominated dramas
