Ok after rewatching from episode one we are getting caught up to what transpired...makes sense to me now. Hopefully they quickly get this setup completed and the good stuff started if not I'm  just going to stop watching until episode 50 because by then it should be going good.

She's going to loose the guy that she loves....those writers need to understand not everything has a "Happy ending" for the bad guy. If you watch a lot of action movies that bad guy dies! The bad guy will eventually get their dues because karma is well....you know the whole phrase.

After rewatching the series from episode 1 do I think it's going to be a repeat of Yellow Boots I do not think so. I believe this time we will get what we are expecting from a revenge focused drama.

I do have a question though...why do they call this show "glass mask"? What is the concept of it?

Seon Jae went to In Cheol's office to ask if the hair DNA found at the scene where his mother died is still there. He told In Cheol that he suddenly remembered someone.

Yi Gyung was dragged along by Ha Joon to a dinner date with Hye Ran not knowing that it's actually a marriage meeting with So Yeon and family (Yi Gyung was excluded/not informed by Hae Sun). All parties were surprised to see each other. Hye Ran asked if they know Yi Gyung. Hae Sun replied that they don't know her. Hye Ran asked Yi Gyung to leave (I'm quite angry that neither In Cheol or Geon stand up and say she's family).

Ha Joon chased after Yi Gyung and to apologize.  Ha Joon told Yi Gyung that he can't understand why So Yeon and the family know that he likes Yi Gyung and yet come along to a marriage meeting. He can't understand too why Yi Gyung's family refused to acknowledge her. Yi Gyung told Ha Joon that she time to think alone.  She was sad that whole family hide the fact that they are going to the marriage meeting. But most of all that they did not acknowledged her as being part of the family. In the end, she said that she's still alone.

At home, Geon told the family that Hye Ran is funny. Knowing that Ha Joon likes Yi Gyung, she still setup the marriage meeting between So Yeon and Ha Joon.  Hae Sun told him to keep quiet and go up to his room.  Though In Cheol questioned the relationship between So Yeon and Ha Joon, Hae Sun told In Cheol to back her up as she is determined to marry So Yeon to Ha Joon due to the scandal.

So Yeon realized that despite having Hye Ran on her side, she needs Ha Jun to give up on Yi Gyung on his own.

Hye Ran and Ha Joon at home. Hye Ran say that Ha Joon should take responsibility for So Yeon since the scandal even though Ha Joon stressed that nothing has happened between them.

Hae Sun told Yi Gyung who came home in front of In Cheol that they intend to let So Yeon marry Ha Joon and asked Yi Gyung to give up Ha Joon for So Yeon's sake because of the scandal. So Yeon life cannot be destroyed. Yi Gyung refused to do so and she told them that Ha Joon has already proposed and she has accepted.

Yi Gyung was so disappointed when In Cheol came into her room to try to persuade her to give up Ha Joon for So Yeon sake. Yi Gyung refused. Seon Jae talking to Chairman Seo about taking samples of DNA from Hye Ran to verify with the DNA of the hair evidence found at scene of his mother's death. He wants to know the truth first and he is seeking Chairman Seo's help to invite Hye Ran over for a cup of tea. Chairman Seo is willing to help as he also wants to know the reason behind the death of Seon Jae's mother. Seon Jae sends the cup Hye Ran used for testing.

Ha Joon gave Yi Gyung's idea (charity event of donating home shopping samples to single mothers and women victims) at the meeting and got her re-instated with his own power as Head of Department (so easy - only in dramaland). So Yeon wasn't happy. Another evil plan comes up. Meanwhile Hye Ran called So Yeon up to reassure her of her place with Ha Joon and asked her what gifts she should send to her parents. This makes So Yeon very happy.

First day back at work. The Yi Gyung's idea of home shopping delivery samples came.  While opening up the samples to have a look, the samples where tampered with (torn) and reports on Sin Gi Tae was in each sample box. Ha Joon asked information on who Sin Gi Tae is.  So Yeon handed the information on Sin Gi Tae to Ha Joon and warned Ha Joon to be careful. So Yeon also got Reporter So to release the news on paper that Sin Gi Tae's daughter is currently working in Fideli and organized a demonstration (association of women victim) demanding that Sin Gi Tae's daughter be dismissed immediately. The pace of the drama is not too slow but everyone is waiting with anticipation how Yi Gyung will transformed and take her revenge. I really hope in the end, Yi Gyung is not Sin Gi Tae's daughter at all (although the drama seems to point towards the direction of a twin).

In Cheol will be dragged into another cover up for President Jeong Hy Ran.

Hurry up writer. Don't drag it till episode 60. Some commented that the writer seems to write the villain overly too well. The fall from the cliff will mark the turning point for Yi Gyung. I want to see Yi Gyung and Seon Jae developed their relationship. Please hurry up.

Ep 37

Yi Gyung was pushed to the ground by the demonstrator. She looked to a shocked Ha Joon for help but he didn't do nothing to help her (that's how much he loved Yi Gyung.  He was asked if she's a murderer's daughter that he would still love her).  Yi Gyung sobbing uncontrollably in the bathroom.

Ha Joon in his office asked So Yeon if she knows about Yi Gyung  being Sin Gi Tae's daughter. She answered yes but Yi Gyung doesn't want it to be known.

Geon showed In Cheol and Hae Sun about the demonstration report in Fideli over Yi Gyung. At this time, all Hae Sun is worried about is that this incident might affect So Yeon's marriage prospect.

Ha Joon waited for Yi Gyung and ask if she's Sin Gi Tae's daughter. She replied yes. She told him that she didn't lied to him. She told Ha Joon that he said before that he would like her if she's the daughter of a murderer or even a murder herself. Ha Joon said she's so brazen and that she should be seeking forgiveness. Why should she, Yi Gyung asked. Ha Joon answered that it's because she's a murderer's daughter. Seon Jae went to meet the person (Gim Ha Ra) who might be Jeong A at the hotel. She told him her adoptive parents told her that she was known as Strawberry when she was found. She showed him the clothes she was wearing at the time she went missing. Seon Jae asked if he could show the clothing to Chairman Seo? She said no because that's the only item that can help her find her parents. I think she said if it's confirmed, she will meet the family personally with the item. Seon Jae told her that the granddaughter had scars on her back. She showed Seon Jae the scars on her back. Seon Jae asked her if she remember anything and I think she replied she can't because she was only five and badly scarred when the adoptive parents met her. Seon Jae brought her to the house where she used to live. She said she did not know the place. Seon Jae sense it and he found the she knows the suburb every well. She asked if she can get paid for some expenses even if she's tested not to be Chairman Seo's granddaughter because her money is almost running out coming to Korea (I don't know whether it's a scam to get a reward money or she's the real granddaughter). Seon Jae seems happy that she may be Jeong A.

Hye Ran is coming to the house and Hae Sun send Yi Gyung out of the house.  Met In Cheol who is coming home.  In Cheol suggest to Gyung went abroad to study design. Yi Gyung said that in the end, In Cheol abandons her. She said it's more sad for her that In Cheol asked her to leave for abroad than Hae Sun asking her to leave the household/family register. Yi Gyung told him that she's tired but will consider his suggestion.

While walking the streets contemplating the suggestion, Yi Gyung asking why can't she be happy.

Hye Ran suggest to So Yeon's wedding to be brought forward and to publicly announce the their wedding.

Hye Ran spread the news of the wedding of So Yeon and Ha Joon on papers. It was strongly objected by Ha Joon. Why must I marry So Yeon even if I can't marry Yi Gyung. Ha Joon said he should be given time to consider.  Hye Ran told him that it's for him to take responsibility to settle the scandal. Hye Ran is determined to make Ha Joon the owner of the company.

Yi Gyung decided to follow In Cheol decision to go abroad. Yi Gyung called Ha Joon to meet to return him the ring to settle their relationship once and for all. She met an angry Ha Joon. Ha Joon asked if he's laugable giving her the ring?  She's not qualified to do this.  Isn't Yi Gyung going to beg him to stay by her side? He will not allow Yi Gyung to leave him ... (I don't think Ha Joon, being obsessed with Yi Gyung, is willing to let Yi Gyung go - keep her as his mistress?)

Yi Gyung left. I don't think Ha Joon is willing to let Yi Gyung go because he's invested too much emotion into her. He said she has no choice whether she goes or stay. It's up to him to decide and so she is not to go anywhere. Yi Gyung told Ha Joon that she's disappointed in him.  She thought that he was sincere when he said he loves her and she has seen him wrongly.  He reply is her so called sincerity a lie. She told Ha Joon he can think whatever and that she does not want to see him again to be caught in between him and So Yeon.

Yi Gyung sitting down with the family, telling them that she is willing to be taken out of the household/family register and she will leave this house. She realize that it was for he own good and she told his father not to feel guilty.  She want Hae Sun to proceed with it as soon as possible because of the So Yeon's wedding. Geon hearing it for the first time, objects to no avail.

Geon was trying to dissuade Yi Gyung while she's packing to leave. She told Geon she's to tired living in this house. She gave Geon the snowball. When she used to look at this snowball, it represent happiness she used to have.  But now she realize it's all false. There's no such thing as an ideal world and she won't look forward to it anymore. She told Geon that when she finds happiness in the future, he can return the snow ball to her.

Seon Jae see In Cheol and the DNA test result for Jeong Hye Ran to In Cheol and told him that the person who killed his mother is his father's wife, President Jeong Hye Ran of Fideli. That shocked In Cheol. In Cheol told him that he needs to confirm that the evidence at the scene is still there. Seon Jae told In Cheol to tell him the results after confirming. In Cheol is in at a loss of what to do as this will affect Ha Joon and So Yeon.

Yi Gyung signed the document to leave the household/family register.

Geon went to see Ha Joon to ask if he's really marrying So Yeon. He told Ha Joon about Yi Gyung leaving the family register and leaving the house. Ha Joon rushed to see Yi Gyung and told her that she's not allow to leave. He is not going to beg her to stay like before. He told her that he always gets what since he was young and he must have her. Yi Gyung said that she's not a thing that he wants to have, he can have. There's no difference, he told her and he's going to marry Yi Gyung. Yi Gyung asked why Ha Joon has to make things difficult for her. Ha Joon is going to announced at the anniversary of Fideli their marriage and explained the scandal. Yi Gyung doesn't want to marry Ha Joon. Ha Joon said that her thought need not be taken into consideration. She has damaged his self-esteem and he won't allow her to abandon him till he do so himself. Yi Gyung was given back the ring by Ha Joon. So Yeon overheard everything and was angry that despite her effort, Ha Joon is still determine to have Yi Gyung.  She is determined to get rid of Yi Gyung totally from Ha Joon's heart.

Ha Joon went home and told Hye Ran that he wants Yi Gyung reinstated and he will announce his marriage with Yi Gyung at the anniversary of Fideli. Hye Ran hit the roof. She can't understand Ha Joon's obsession with Yi Gyung.

Ha Joon may have issued Yi Gyung being reinstated in the company. The staff are in an uproar. So Yeon came in the office hearing this.

Someone throw things at Ha Joon from the roof due to Sin Gi Tae's daughter being reinstated and injured his arm (orchestrated by So Yeon with Reporter So's help).  Ha Joon is worried about Yi Gyung after the accident and rang her. So Yeon told Ha Joon that this kind things had followed her and her family since high school. If he gets closer to Yi Gyung, it will harm the company and himself.

Yi Gyung was worried and rushed to the hospital to see him.  Hye Ran also knew about the incident went to the hospital too. Both of them met on the way.  Hye Ran told Yi Gyung it's because of her that cause Ha Joon to meet with and accident and she was ask to leave. Hye Ran told Ha Joon to retract Yi Gyung reinstatement and to go ahead with the wedding with So Yeon.

So Yeon was on the phone on the way out. Saw by Yi Gyung. Yi Gyung followed her wanting to ask how Ha Joon was and overheard the conversation with Reporter So about Ha Joon's accident. So Yeon was telling Reporter So that Ha Joon wasn't supposed to be hurt. Exchanging of words between So Yeon and Reporter So, So Yeon told Reporter So that she's got recording of their conversation in her handphone.

In Cheol went personally to verify both DNA and they matched. Looks like In Cheol decides to cover up for everyone's sake as the matter is already in the past and it does nobody any good. So when Seon Jae rang to ask about the results, In Cheol lied that the evidence at the scene cannot be found anymore at the evidence room.  Seon Jae sense that something is going on as he had asked In Cheol numerous times if the evidence found at the scene is still available.

Yi Gyung went into So Yeon's room and took her handphone to listen to the recording of how So Yeon and Reporter So organized the Ha Joon's accident. So Yeon came in. Yi Gyung asked if she orchestrated Ha Joon's accident.  So Yeon replied that she did. To get rid of Ha Joon's obsession with Yi Gyung, she has to do it. Yi Gyung told her she can't tolerate anymore and she going to tell everyone how she tries to harm Ha Joon. So Yeon tell her to go ahead as no one will believe her as she is a murderer's daughter and she did not have any evidence.

Gim Ha Ra dreaming of her abuse by her husband (ex?) and her child crying. She received a call from America that her abusive husband (ex?) is looking for her. Jeong A called Seon Jae to ask when she can see Chairman Seo as she needs to go back to America quickly because of her two year old child (girl). Seon Jae told her that the DNA result will be out the next day.

At the company's anniversary, So Yeon was introduced as Ha Joon fiancee. Yi Gyung was there ready to expose So Yeon. Gim Ha Ra was at the hotel too.

Preview - Exciting.

Yi Gyung failed in her attempt. Ha Joon may have accidentally hurt Ha Ra who was trying to save Yi Gyung from the drunken Ha Joon. Ha Joon fled the scene with Yi Gyung and then later let Yi Gyung become the scapegoat.

If Gim Ha Ra dies, then you will have Chairman Seo who wants to exact revenge too. He will be the power backer for Seon Jae and Yi Gyung.  I'm getting excited how this story will turn out.

@ gene I think you said something earlier in a post as a possibility of yi gyung taking on some else's disguise? Do we know if this rumor is true or not? I'm just curious as to what is going to happen since everything that her fam has done publicly that no one is going to trust her. How will her revenge take place? I'm just wanting to press fast forward to get to te good spot.
