The ending scene of the finale was beautiful. with a voice-over from each of the females of Manwongdol, on the death anniversary of halmeoni.  Hopefully someone will give us a recap of the last few episodes and especially of what was said in the final scene.

Dear Ladies,

It was brought to my attention that a request for the completion of Indomitable Daughters in law had been made

I had backtracked and I left off at Episode 103. I will give a brief summary account to complete what I have started

Episode 104

Myeong Joo assigned Young Shim to clean all the pots in the house. Myeong Joo also gave the breakdown of all the meals and chores that happened in the household as well. Myeong Joo warned Young Shim that the war had just begun.

Hye Won tried to help Young Shim but Myeong Joo warned her not to. Hye Won felt nausea and Myeing Joo was delighted asking whether Hye Won might be pregnant. Hye Won said she was not be as it could be just indigestion. Hye Won said that she would get a test kit later on. Myeong Joo asked what test kit and immediately called for Chauffeur Byeon to start the car to the hospital. Hye Won told Young Shim that Myeong Joo really placed pressure on one self.

Young Shim started on all the household chores with Viviana's help. Shin Woo called Young Shim and asked why was she sounding breathless. Young Shim gave the excuse that she was exercising.

Shin Woo told that he wished to be home with his wife and Young Shim said that he was playing truant. Young Shim told Shin Woo said he had to work harder since he was now married.

Suk Nam advised Hye Ja not to give in to their kids wishes. Suk Nam said they must never become in-laws. Hye Ja said what they need to do about Halmeoni. At that moment, Halmeoni called out for Hye Ja. Hye Ja left quickly.

Jang Di advised Yun Jung to get their parents to break up instead.

Suk Nam also asked Geum Shil to help with his matter with Hye Ja but Geum Shil refused. Geum Shil received another bouquet of roses. Geum Shil still was not able to get her admirer's identity.

Upon the doctor examination, Hye Won was declared pregnant. Myeong Joo was delighted. They gave the news to Jin Woo. Jin Woo was with his father and told his father the good news. President Moon congratulated Jin Woo.

Back home, Myeong Joo gave Hye Won a solid gold frog as a congratulatory gift on her pregnancy. Myeong Joo advised Young Shim to hurry on with a child and received the same. Young Shim just said that she was still lacking in many ways.

Young Shim greeted Shin Woo and asked for his coat. Shin Woo hugged Young Shim which surprised her. Shin Woo said that he had heard that Hye Won was pregnant and was worried that Young Shim was unhappy. Young Shim said that she was happy for Hye Won and related that Myeong Joo really gave a solid gold frog and it was the first time seeing such a big thing in solid gold. Shin Woo said that he would buy her the solid gold frog and give it to her. Shin Woo said he would buy many solid gold for her. Young Shim asked whether it was true and cannot go back on his word.

Shin Woo hugged Young Shim once again and told her that Young Shim was his daughter and he was Young Shim's son. Shin Woo said that they would live like they were now with nothing a matter. Young Shim teared up at Shin Woo's words and said she would do well. Shin Woo said it was he who should do well.

Viviana was listening to Hye Won's stomach for her younger sibling's activity. Jin Woo was extremely delighted about the pregnancy. Viviana said that she want a male siblings like Pororo.

Suk Nam with Hye Ja meeting Yun Jung and Jan Di whereby Suk Nam demanded Jang Di to break up with Yun Jung. Jan Di protested. Suk Nam said that Hye Ja and Suk Nam were in love for 30 years. Jan Di and Yun Jung cannot said that because they were married before and was in a good relation with their late spouse. The father and son pair came into a deadlock without one party giving in. However, both Hye Ja and Yun Jung were at loss at the situation feeling for each other's situation.

Hye Won started to have cravings and Young Shim made japchae for her. Hye Won was delighted and Young Shim congratulated her pregnancy. Shin Woo however said that Hye Won was too much asking Young Shim to cook for her. Jin Woo said that pregnant woman had their cravings and asked Shin Woo to be understanding. Shin Woo said that Young Shim was not the maid in the house and told Jin Woo to be careful it did not become too often. Jin Woo said he understand ad thanked him for his patience.

Jin Woo thanked Young Shim for the favour while Shin Woo quickly dragged Young Shim upstairs. Once Shin Woo was asleep, Young Shim sneaked out and called Hye Ja that she missed her. Hye Ja immediately wandered whether something was a missed. Young Shim told Hye Ja that Hye Won was pregnant. Hye Ja asked whether Young Shim was all right. Young Shim said although she washappy but she cannot feel upset about it too. Shin Woo came out of the room and saw Young Shim crying and he walked over and comforted her.

At Manwoldang, Hameoni surprised everyone that she knew Yun Jung was dating Jan Di and therefore told Hye Ja that no parents can outbeat their children.

The battle begun at the Jang's household whereby Suk Nam rebuted Jang Di for not doing his chores. Jang Di was surprised that his father had become so petty.

Manager Hong congratulated Young Shim's return to work even after marrying Shin Woo. Im Ji Eun asked why she had bothered. Young Shim said it was love.

Halmeoni went for her check-up but her doctor noticed that she had a discomfort in her stomach and examined her for it. Halmeoni felt pained in most area the doctor touched her. The doctor asked Halmeoni to do a couple of test.

Myeong Joo was going out when Young Shim returned home. Myeong ordered Young Shim to do the housework in view Hye Won was pregnant. Hye Won said she was fine but Myeong Joo ordered to rest. Myeong Joo left the house but forgot to bring something.

Hye Won apologised for everything and Young Shim said for what. Hye Won wished that Young Shim and Shin Woo would have a child soon. Young Shim admitted that it would be difficult for her as she recently had a surgery that will deemed her chances slim. Myeong Joo on overhearing demanded Young Shim to repeat what she had said.

Episode 105

Myeong Joo asked what surgery Young Shim had. Young Shim said she did not want to deceive the family. However, that even though with the surgery, she may had difficulty having a baby but she was not sterile. Myeong Joo immediately drove Young Shim out of the house. Hye Won tried to persuade Myeong Joo that there were now many modern methods and Myeong Joo warned Hye Won to be quiet if she did not want to be sent away as well. Young Shim said that she did not want to leave. Myeong Joo pushed Young Shim into the car with her luggage. Hye Won immediately called Shin Woo.

Myeong Joo took Young Shim back to Manwoldang and asked whether the Hye Ja knew that Young Shim could not have kids. Halmeoni asked what did Myeong Joo meant. Myeong Joo could tell that Hye Ja knew about it. Hye Ja asked Young Shim to take Halmeoni back to her room as she was already stricken with shock and calling of for her late husband.

Hye Ja asked Myeong Joo to calm down and talked they would talked at a better time. Myeong Joo stopped her but Hye Ja said that she had no will to argue with her at the moment. Hye Ja said that it was not that Young Shim can never have children and even Shin Woo knew about it. Myeong Joo said that it was a fraud. Hye Ja brought up the rice incident and Myeong Joo said for that Hye Ja deposited a infertile woman at her household.

Myeong Joo want to overturned the table but stopped by Hye Ja. At this moment Shin Woo arrived at Manwoldang, Myeong Joo lamented at Shin Woo that he was betrayed too as Young Shim cannot have children. Shin Woo said that it did not matter to him. Myeong Joo was shocked that Shin Woo knew about it. Shin Woo said he did. Young Shim came out at that moment and Shin Woo held her and told his mother that he did not need to have children as just having Young Shim was enough for him. Myeong Joo tried to hit out at Shin Woo only to fall into a dead faint.

Myeong Joo was at home with an IV drip crying her heart out over the matter. Shin Woo apologised for deceiving his parents on the matter but he told Myeong Joo he cannot give up Young Shim. Shin Woo again said that he did not need to have children. Myeong Joo told him to get out of the room.

Hye Won asked how was Young Shim and Shin Woo said she was at Manwoldang and should be fine. Hye Won apologised for causing the problem and Shin Woo said it was fine and left Hye Won to take for his mother.

Halmeoni crying over Young Shim on how had her life had been. Halmeoni said that Hye Won was already pregnant and how hard it must be for Young Shim. Young Shim said that she really wished Hye Won well. Hye Ja said what times are these now for such a reaction from Myeong Joo. The two ladies tried to calm Halmeoni who was really distress over the matter.

Yun Jung and Jang Di complained about the treatment at home by their respective parents.

Shin Woo apologised to President Moon over the matter. President Moon said what can be done as Shin Woo already knew of it in the beginning. President Moon asked if Young Shim as at Manwoldang. Shin Woo said they will remain there until Myeong Joo was better.

Shin Woo apologised to the women at Manwoldang over the matter. Geum Shil that she had a trust in Shin Woo that they would managed themselves over having children. Shin Woo said that he would give his utmost strength in the matter.

Myeong Joo was shocked that Shin Woo had gone to Manwoldang. President Moon asked what was she expecting since they were husband and wife. President Moon told Myeong Joo there was nothing they can do since Shin Woo knew about it in the first place. President Moon asked Myeong Joo to bring Young Shim home since she was now their daughter-in-law. Myeong Joo refused.

Jin Woo asked Hye won who was upset to get some sleep for the sake of their baby. Jin Woo changed the solemn atmosphere by asking for a name to call the baby. They all agreed with "Tinkerbell" after consulting Viviana.

Yun Jung lamented over her matter and Halmeoni told Yun Jung that she would make a final decision for her in the problem.

Shin Woo prepared the bedding and Young Shim felt that he should go home. Shin Woo said that they were newlyweds and how can she asked them to be in separate homes. Furthermore, Shin Woo said that he cannot sleep without Young Shim. Shin Woo said that he understand her good intention but Shin Woo said he would never leave her alone. Young Shim said she was really sorry for everything and she had intended to be really happy with Shin Woo after their marriage but she was only making Shin Woo's life difficult. Shin Woo told Young Shim that they will repay his parents for the deceit by treating them well.

Myeong Joo came out to find Young Shim preparing breakfast. Myeong Joo asked who allowed her back. Shin Woo told his mother that Young Shim still wanted to prepare breakfast. Myeong Joo asked who wanted her breakfast but salivated when she saw the breakfast that was spread out.

President Moon came out and asked Hye Won and Jin Woo to take Myeong Joo back to the room. President Moon told Young Shim to stay at Manwoldang temporarily until things cooled down.

Jin Woo apologised over the matter and told Young Shim and Shin Woo they would do their best to persuade Myeong Joo.

Ban Gun told the ladies that Halmeoni's stories were really interesting and suggest to print a book on it. Halmeoni said it was not all that interesting. the other ladies agreed and Ban Gun said he would write and send it off to the publishers.

Halmeoni told Hye Ja to prepare a dinner for her grand son-in-law. Yun Jung said that she would informed Jang Di on the matter. Hye Ja informed Suk Nam on the dinner and asked what they should do now.

Geum Shil was still receiving roses but did not know the identity of the admirer.

 

 

President Moon came to see Young Shim and told her not to worry as Myeong Joo would get over the matter son enough. Young Shim thanked President Moon for the kind consolation. President Moon also asked her to visit Professor Kim on her condition as his his daughter-in-law she should have the best treatment. Young Shim thanked President Moon. President Moon also praised her for her success at work.

Young Shim told Shin Woo and he told her that his father was such a man. Young Shim said although she was fearful of his parents but after being their daughter-in-law and getting praised was something unexpected. Shin Woo also informed that she was the company top seller and told her to take care of their company.

Jang Di bowed his greetings and Halmeoni told him that she accept her grandson-in-law. Suk Nam came to Manwoldang and said that he objected to the wedding. Suk Nam said that he and Hye Ja will treat Halmeoni like he was her son.

Jang Di apologised to his father but Suk Nam said that it was not over yet.

Young Shim informed Myeong Joo that all the household chores are done and she thanked Myeong Joo for allowing her back to the house. Myeong Joo told Young Shim to sit down. Young Shim asked whether Myeong joo had something to say to her. Myeong Joo asked Young Shim to return home. However, she had to agree to sign an agreement. Young Shim said she did not have her seal with her, Myeong Joo said a thumb print will do. Young Shim said she would not agreed but Myeong Joo grabbed Young Shim's hand and placed her thumb print. Young Shim grabbed the paper and crumbled it and placed it into her mouth.

Myeong Joo received a phone call and quickly asked Young Shim to turn on the TV. There was a report on a Queen Group President loaning out money. Young Shim asked Myeong Joo whether the person mentioned in the report was Myeong Joo. Myeong Joo glared at Young Shim in shock.

Episode 106

The phone started ringing in the house and Myeong Joo stopped Young Shim from answering any calls. President Moon asked what was going on as the company was swarming with reporters. Myeong Joo admitted loaning out money out of boredom. President Moon asked Myeong Joo that she had better fixed the situation. Myeong Joo went into a frenzy but she was consoled by Young Shim who said that president Moon was too much.

Hye Won asked what happened as President Moon looked really upset and Young Shim signaled Hye Won not to question further.

Hye Ja lamenting on her fate of no one to rely on when Halmeoni spoke to Hye Ja on consenting Yun Jung and Jang Di. Yun Jung told Jang Di that Halmeoni was helping them because she did not want Hye Ja to leave. Yun Jung asked whether they were selfish about their own matter as the situation was rather uncomfortable. Yun Jung wandered whether Jan Di's father will welcome her wishes for Happy Birthday. Jang Di said that his father might throw the cake at them.

Young Shim asked Shin Woo to get home quickly as Myeong Joo was still very upset. Shin Woo asked whether they were really married. Shin Woo asked what they were really doing as a couple. Young Shim consoled Shin Woo a little by saying she would really missed him and sent on his way back.

Myeong Joo had placed an aigoo band on her head. Jin Woo tried to console his mother. Jin Woo told Myeong Joo that President Moon had gone to the guest room after dinner. Hye Won asked how much Myeong Joo loaned out. Shin Woo announced that he was home but Myeong Joo asked where was Young Shim. Shin Woo said that he had sent Young Shim back to Manwoldang. Shin Woo jumped on the gun and asked whether Myeong Joo would allowed Young Shim to return. Myeong Joo asked everyone to leave as more of them wa saying anything in her favour.

Hye Won was worried that she was going to be responsible for housework. Jin Woo said he would asked the housekeeper to return.

Young Shim told Hye Ja what had happened and Hye Ja was socked wandering what Myeong Joo must have been thinking. However, Hye Ja expressed concern over President Moon action on Myeong Joo.

Geum Shil told Hye Ja that today was Suk Nam's birthday. Hye Ja met Suk Nam who was drinking away on his birthday. Suk Nam told Hye Ja that they are a couple who waited 30 years to be together. Suk Nam took a drunken Hye Ja home. Halmeoni told Suk Nam that he was a bad person to make Hye Ja drunk this way. Suk Nam pleaded with Halmeoni that she had taken 30 years of Hye Ja's life and what Hye Ja will do when Halmeoni passed on. Halmeoni was in shock at being told and the ladies quickly asked Ban Gun to remove Suk Nam.

Next morning, Hye Ja apologised for her behaviour. Geum Shil that the family should take a vote on siding which couple. Young Shim was stopped by Yun Jung from voting because she was now married to Shin Woo. Soon Jung was stopped by Hye Ja from voting in favour of Yun Jung. Therefore it was a deadlocked at Yun Jung and Halmeoni for the Yun Jung & Jang Di couple and Hye Ja and Geum Shil for Hye Ja and Suk Nam couple.

Hye Ja gave Suk Nam a scarf for his birthday

Geum Shil still wandering who was sending her roses.

Ban Gun was mistaken by Soon Jung's friends as her uncle and Ban Gun went along with the mistake. Soon Jung asked him later whether he was embarrassed to be with her to admit as her relative. Ban Gun said Soon Jung will one day someone who love her. soon Jung said that she was not looking for someone else to love. Soon Jung told Ban Gun that she and the baby would wait for him. Soon Jung called him by his name, Jin Gook.

Young Shim was taking a tonic to help boost pregnancy. However, Shin woo dumped the tonic away as he did not marry Young Shim to be a baby making machine. Young Shim said that his parents will be expecting him to have children.

Hye Ja came to give some side dishes to Hye Won. Myeong Joo came out still with an aigoo band. Hye Ja said she felt bad for Myeong Joo. Hye Ja brought up the matter of the stolen rice saying that if it wasn't for Myeong Joo, she was the actual madame. President Moon asked was such a matter true.

The Moon family sat down in conference. Young Shim was called back and Myeong Joo scolded Young Shim for telling Hye Ja about her problem. Myeong Joo admitted that she had stolen the 100 bags of rice. President Moon said that if he had known he would never marry her. Myeong Joo sad that she had needed money but it wsa President Moon that the money had helped.

Shin Woo suggested that Myeong Joo should apologised and returned the money. Myeong Joo said she had tried with money and in kind, however, Hye Ja would not accept. Hye Won said that 100 bags of rice those days would be able to buy a house today. Myeong Joo asked Hye Won to keep quiet.

Young Shim said a few words in support of Myeong Joo that loaning out money, she was helping people and the rice matter Myeong Joo had tried to amend for it although it was lacking in the actual value. Myeong Joo told the family, it was indeed her true intention. President Moon asked Myeong Joo to apologise or else leave the house. Myeong Joo got worked that President Moon did not support opted to leave the house. Young Shim came running out and told Myeong Joo that she was her supporter and cheered her with a "Hwaiting"

Episode 107

Myeong Joo asked whether Young Shim wanted to get into her good books but Myeong Joo said it was not easy. Young Shim said that she was truly Myeong Joo's supporter. Young Shim brought Myeong Joo to Manwoldang. Hye ja asked what Myeong Joo was doimg there and Myeong Joo said it was all her fault. Myeong Joo apologised to Halmeoni and said she would be staying for a while.

Halmeoni asked why Myeong Joo was here after a quarrel with her husband. Hye Ja explained to Halmeoni that President Moon found out about the 100 bag of rice. Myeong Joo asked where Hye Ja's room was and waked in. Hye Ja asked Young Shim whether things were really bad at Moon's household and Young Shim said it was.

President Moon was surprised that Myeong Joo did not go to their hotel but was at Manwoldang. Shin Woo told his father not to worry as Young Shim was with her. However, Jin Woo and Shin Woo started to persuade their father to bring home Myeong Joo but President Moon refused to listen.

Myeong Joo looked around the room for the warmest place. Hye Ja asked Myeong Joo whether she was really staying at Manwoldang.

Young Shim wished Myeong Joo a good night sleep and also to Hye Ja. Myeong Joo did not like that Young Shim still referred Hye Ja as "Mother". It was like Young Shim was half and half about

Ban Gun informed Young Shim that a publishers like the book content. Soon Jung was still upset with Ban Gun and was cold towards him.

Geum Shil fooled around with Halmeoni but was sadden how old her mother had become.

Yun Jung and Jang Di on their matter and how to resolve it to everyone's happiness.

Hye Ja talked to Suk Nam on the phone. Suk Nam was drinking over their problem. Myeong Joo had trouble sleeping overhearing their love talk. Myeong Joo moved over to Young Shim's room.

Young Shim was on the line with Shin Woo but Myeong Joo took the phone and hung up. Young Shim took her pillow to find another place to sleep but Myeong Joo said that she cannot sleep alone. However, Myeong Joo's stomach growled in hunger and young Shim made Myeong Joo a meal which she complimented was delicious and when she wanted another serving, Young Shim was ready with it. Myeong Joo praised her quick thinking and Young Shim was delighted about the praise.

Young Shim asked who was her sleeping partner and Shin Woo asked which man she has got to take his place. Young Shim said that she was sleeping with Myeong Joo and Myeong Joo had praised her. Shin Woo said his parents' quarrel was not bad after all. Myeong Joo asked why the women with lovers were so talkative. Myeong Joo asked Young Shim to finish her conversation. Young Shim quickly told Shin Woo to hang up. Young Shim arranged Myeong Joo's bed covers and asked her to sleep tight.

Next morning, President Moon had Myeong Joo's luggage brought to Manwoldang. Geum Shil said that Myeong Joo was really casted out from home.

Jin Woo advised President Moon not to take such harsh action against Myeong Joo.

Hye Ja met Suk Nam and suggest that they should break up as it was getting too diificult

Soon Jung found out that ban Gun was looking for another place to move. Soon Jung asked him not to leave Manwoldang. Soon Jung promised not to speak about her feelings. Soon Jung cried aloud and ban gun was at lost what to do.

Myeong called everyone except President Moon to Manwoldang to have a discussion. Myeong Joo asked who they were side, be it President Moon or herself. Jin Woo said that it was childish to ask such a question. Shin Woo said that what nonsense to ask someone who was so busy. However, Jin Woo, Hye Won and Shin Woo all thought that Myeong Joo was at fault as the image of the company was affected. However, Young Shim said that although the image of the company was affected but they should be thinking of Myeong Joo's welfare. Myeong Joo was pleased to hear Young Shim support for her. Hye won in looking that Young Shim found favour with Myeong Joo offered to stay at Myeong Joo's side.

Jin Woo disagreed as Hye won was pregnant and she should be at his sde so he can look after her. Jin Woo asked his mother to excuse them. So Jin Woo and Hye Won left Manwoldang and Young Shim asked them not to worry as she would take care of Myeong Joo.

Myeong Joo got a call from the police that she was being sued and requested her to come in for questioning. However, when she arrived there were a whole group of reporters.

Episode 108

Young Shim brought an all covered up Myeong Joo into the police station.

Yun Jung went to see Suk Nam and apologised for causing the breaking up between her mother and him. Yun Jung promised she would do her best as his daughter in law. Suk Nam said he would also be a good father in law.

Jang Di was at Manwoldang thanking Halmeoni and Halmeoni mentioned that it was Hye Ja's sacrifice that gave him his happiness. Jang Di thanked Hye Ja and Hye Ja also said she would be a good mother in law. Yun Jung came crying saying that she did not want to marry as Suk Nam had rejoined the merchant marines once more. Hye Ja ran to the cafe to see a very dejected Suk Nam.

Young Shim accompanied Myeong Joo for her questioning at the police station. After in which Young Shim and Myeong went to have something to eat. Myeong Joo asked what her fate was to be cast out by her husband and abandon by her sons. Myeong started to cry and Young Shim comforted her saying she would do her best not as her daughter in law but like Myeong Joo's daughter.

Hye Ja asked even though Suk Nam was really angry but he need not do something so drastic. Suk Nam said although he accept the decision but there was no way now that he could accept that she was to be his in-law. Suk Nam said that he need this time to settle his feelings. Hye Ja asked what of her and Suk Nam apologised for his actions.

Yun Jung had her own little break up with Jang Di.

Halmeoni waited for Hye Ja and asked what was her decision and whether she decided to go away with Suk Nam. Hye Ja spoke her heart and said she had wished to but Suk Nam had opted to run away. Halmeoni was shocked at Hye Ja's words and started to wail for her late husband. Hye ja herself collapse in deep sorrow as her heart ache. Myeong Joo and Young Shim came back to the wailing of the two ladies and asked what was happening.

President Moon called out to Myeong Joo to bring him a glass of water, forgetting Myeong Joo was not there. President Moon came out for a glass of water only to find Jin Woo making dumplings for Viviana and Hye Won. President Moon took on the happy family environment. Shin Woo too was leaving the house and told his father he needed to see Shin Woo to be able to sleep. President Moon felt that he was the only the bad man in the house.
