Rain and Kim Woo Bin confirmed to appear on 'Running Man' + Lee Jong Suk to also join depending on his condition

Rain and Kim Woo Bin have been confirmed to make guest appearances on 'Running Man' for its Australia special as well as Lee Jong Suk whose scheduled guest appearance is still up in the air after falling sick with swine flu.

Rain's agency Cube DC rep stated, "Rain is set to depart to the set of 'Running Man' this weekend and received a request from the staff reps to wait for the departure date yesterday (18th)."

According to insiders in an exclusive report by Star News, Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin will also join Rain and are all set to depart for Australia on the 22nd. However, Lee Jong Suk's guest appearance is in the air now following his being diagnosed with swine flu.

Lee Jong Suk's reps told Star News on the 19th, "Lee Jong Suk has been confirmed to feature on the 'Running Man' Australia special but he was diagnosed with swine flue on the 18th so he has to focus on receiving treatment... We will have to observe Lee Jong Suk's health condition prior to the departure date."

Kim Woo Bin's agency rep told MyDaily, "Kim Woo Bin has been confirmed to appear on the 'Running Man' Australia special. He will depart on the 22nd."

Let's hope Lee Jong Suk joins the fun as well so fans could witness Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin's bromance!

It had been previously announced that “Running Man” will film in Australia for a special episode, and singer Rain had been the first celebrity guest to be confirmed for the show. On February 19, the show announced that Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk will be joining him as the other celebrity guests. The cast and the guests will be leaving for Australia on February 22. This will be an exciting episode as “Running Man” has never filmed outside of Asia before. 

However, it was just announced that Lee Jong Suk has come down with the swine flu and will put a temporary halt into his activities. A representative for the actor Lee Jong Suk told Star News, “Since Lee Jong Suk has already been confirmed for the ‘Running Man’  appearance, he is currently receiving treatment for his swine flu. We will be watching his health up to his departure.” 

Hopefully, the popular actor will rest and be healthy in time for the shoot.

가수 겸 배우 비와 배우 김우빈, 이종석이 SBS 예능프로그램 '일요일이 좋다-런닝맨' 호주특집에 출연한다. 

19일 관계자에 따르면 비, 김우빈, 이종석은 오는 22일 호주로 출국, '런닝맨' 촬영에 참여한다. 

광활한 호주를 배경으로 한국의 톱스타들이 대거 참여하는, 보기 드문 그림이 만들어질 전망이다 . 

이번 호주특집은 '런닝맨' 사상 첫 아시아권 외 국가에서 촬영한다는 점에서 관심을 모으고 있다.

Lee Jong Suk has been diagnosed with swine flu. 

A rep from Wellmade E&T, Lee Jong Suk’s agency, told Newsen on February 18, “Lee Jong Suk went to the hospital today after showing some symptoms, and was diagnosed with swine flu.”

“He was ok even after returning from his fan meeting in China, but today he felt ill all of a sudden and went to see the doctor. He’s returned home now and is currently resting,” added the rep. 

He also said, “We’ll have to see how he progresses through the treatment, but he’ll probably be ok after getting enough rest. We still have plenty of time for Doctor Stranger, because it’s airing in April. There are no conflicts with his schedule.”



Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk will be starring in SBS’s upcoming drama Doctor Stranger set to air in April.

[이데일리 스타in 고규대 기자] 배우 이종석이 신종플루로 치료를 받게 됐다. 

이종석은 18일 서울 강남의 모 병원에서 신종플루 확진 판정 진단을 받았다. 이종석은 지난 14일 중국 상하이에서 팬미팅을 마친 후 귀국했다가 몸이 안좋아 병원을 찾은 것으로 전해졌다. 이종석의 한 측근은 “해외 일정 등으로 말미암아 피로마저 누적돼 최소한 일주일 가까이 치료를 받아야 한다”면서 “불가피하게 일부 스케줄의 변동이 있을 것 같다”고 말했다.

이종석은 4월 첫회가 나가는 SBS 새 월화드라마 ‘신의 선물 14’의 후속작 ‘닥터 이방인’ 주연으로 나서 촬영차 다음 달 초 헝가리 로케이션에 합류할 예정이다. 이종석은 드라마에서 탈북한 천재 의사 박훈을 연기한다.

예정된 드라마 스케줄에는 지장이 없다. 이종석은 최근 SBS-TV '닥터 이방인' 출연을 확정했다. 관계자는 "드라마 촬영 일정에는 여유가 있다. 회복 후 촬영에 나선다"고 전했다.
