Shinhwa LoVe, this drama is engrossing, isn't it? I have recommended to a friend and she is now "couldn't sleep or eat" watching this drama She said this is certainly a very different drama from other dramas...

Most of the drama is plotting to revenge - the only reason we are sympathetic is due to the great injustice done to the family.

We are sympathetic also because we know that the main actor Gangyeok is struggling against his “good nature” to be a vengeful and bad guy. I can’t wait to see how it plays out in the end.

Hi Creidesca... I finally got to do this... Wow! It was soooooo hard I'm sweating! :sweating: I feel like Park Heesoo, mumbling things I don't understand... Some parts, I ain't sure if I'm right... just going with my gut feelings...

But at the same time, I was soooo excited translating this article. I keep on thinking of this drama, and after this article, I think I'm able to tell more WHY I love RESURRECTION soooo much! And whoever wrote this article must be a RESURRECTION PANIC too... I also wanted to add... that in another article, it talked about how the word "die" also pointed to death... not just fate.

Is it just me who finds the evil character Choi Dong Chan appallingly hard to swallow? I swear I have never seen such bad acting in my life. Seriously, I close my eyes when he appears on screen and just listen to the dialogue...

Have to agreeably disagree. Choi Dong Chan is a very violent psychopath who can barely keep a rein on his destructive impulses, a portrayal that IMHO Kim Gyu Chul nailed very well. That inner ugliness and insane rage are hard to watch, but very much to the point of the character.

i only got to ep. 6 and i'm crying like a baby. it all seems so real. are we really sure this is a Korean drama? What happened to all those unrealistic cliches that i'm used to seeing? This drama is just, i don't even have the words, perfect...

And who is it that said Han ji Min didn't act well? i'm loving her way more than SoYi Hyun right now

This drama is amazing... a pure work of art. If you haven't watched this yet, you don't know what you're missing

I just started on this drama yesterday and so far I'm really liking the progression. The actors are really doing a great at portraying their characters. I feel so drawn in.

I currently have Han Ji Min fever and watching this drama made me fall for the lead male too. What a good Revenge drama and I loved the symbolization for their love and why he had to avenge his brother before he could live as himself again and his love for Eunha. We need more drama's like this and I now am addicted to it and am only up to episode 8. I have a ways to go. :wub:. Love the subtle emotion, struggle, and everyone getting their dues for their past sins.I need this dvd in my life like now!

Agie I miss you and the padamers too! I am so Juhan obsessed right now.I had to stop talking on the thread I was too sad it ended and like you my DVD didn't scratch but I crash my computer and phone everyday watching .I have Han Ji Min fever. I couldn't watch Great inhritance but watched Cain& Abel and wow she is just amazing there even as the weeping female.Yes Resurrection was good I loved Eunha so much she always knew it was really Ha Eun and never stopped.I skimmed through but loved the ending and yay now I have something to watch since Rooftop Prince is pushed back.Yes this is the first melodrama I watched in a long time which did not go to leave you confused with the ending . And the female was strong enough to understand why they could not get back together yet.I so didn't regret even though I was mad there was no skinship or baby but I need to stop always expecting that. It takes away from the greatness of a profound drama with a cheesy ending.

I don't get why the ending leaves people confused. The show started with death and ended with death but not in the way we think. Ha Eun had to avenge his brother's death which was meant for him so he was going to die so he could avenge him and forgive all the sins he committed bringing down all the people who destroyed him and his family but in the process realizes revenge only hurts everyone not just one person.He got his mom and Eunha back but at the expense of others lives being destroyed.He did die and was dying when his light and purpose for living Eunha came. The lighthouse was the death but then he heard screaming which was Eunha calling him back to his life putting his brother's revenge to bed.Then time jump a year ahead and Eunha is at peace waiting because she knows Ha Eun needs to come to grips with all he did and how many lives he ruined before they can build their future together.And finally she meets the reporter lady on the beach letting her know how they are and that Ha Eun will soon be back because today is his birthday.Finally the end eunha is walking on the lighthouse talking and waiting while Ha Eun is walking towards the Lighthouse finally at peace and ready to start his life with Eunha.Having let go all his past anger and now knowing who he is and what awaits for him.Agie here is a big hug you were one of the ones that made me stop watching without paying attention to what hidden meanings is in the drama. The best 12 hours I kept falling asleep on now going to rewatch tomorrow and prepare to cry some more.
