can someone explain to me what that ball was that the mother gave to the daughter to bring her back to life. i know its the gem she nine tail fox stole in ep. 1 but what is it?

The fox gem is what saved the girl but at the same time, weakens the mother as it gave what power she had to the little girl. The mother thus can't use her strength until the next full moon when I assume she regains her power. Correct me if I'm wrong.

and owh god~ i am still getting over that scene and yesterday,they tried to cripple the girl's leg bcoz she was caught kissing the boy -.- thats so cruel too~ to do that to a mere child~

oh yeS!!i agree. i think the young master doesnt fit the role~! he just seem so out of place .and make the whole young romance werid i wonder if it will have been better if it is another young actor

Oh my. This new series is really getting my hyped up. But I gotta get over the fox transformation look if I ever want to watch it. Reading the caps/posts makes it look very worthy! I'll watch the first episode later on today. How exciting!

I saw a segment last night on Entertainment Relay (in Los Angeles) highlighting many of the amazing Korean child actors and (of course) our two girls were featured along with the kids from Baking King Kim Takgu (another outstanding series!) They showed the scene where snotty princess slaps both sides of 'Yeon Yi's face and spoke with both girls. Seo Shin Ae (the mean one) said that it was her dream to become "...the greatest actress in the world, and to have her name known other countries than her own..."

Speaking as one American who has been bowled over by this little one's talent since she was about six years old, I'd have to say that she is well on her way to fulfilling that quest. May both of these wonderful young talents continue to amaze us for many years to come...

So Yeon Yi is supposed to die..? At first I thought that she was supposed to grow up & her mother would die, and something like that, but I guess it's different then
