Han Chae Young Dreamed of Becoming a Figure Skater

On February 21, actress Han Chae Young appeared as a guest star on KBS Happy Together 3 and shared her childhood dream. 
Surprising everyone on the set by revealing she had trained for figure skating since the age of eight until quitting in her freshmen year of high school, the actress said, “I can’t do a triple axel, but I can do a double.” 
Han Chae Young continued, “I never put on skates again ever since I quit in high school. I used to like it too much. The training was so intense before and after school. I would’ve continued with figure skating if I was as good as Kim Yuna, but my father and coach advised me to turn to something else.” 




The actress also brought laughter to the studio by sharing her attempt at trying to figure skate on ground and fracturing her foot after being inspired by Kim Yuna.

Actress Han Chae Young is expecting her first baby!

Actress Han Chae Young has announced that she is expecting her first child after six years of marriage. She is currently 11 weeks into her pregnancy and is taking care of her health while continuing to film for the KBS drama ‘Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek‘.
BH Entertainment confirmed the good news of the 5th, “Han Chae Young will become a mother after six years of marriage. Although Han Chae Young is currently undergoing a busy filming schedule, her and her baby are both healthy. Han Chae Young and her family couldn’t contain their joy upon hearing the happy news. We ask that you encourage and congratulate her on the happiest moment of her life.”
Despite being pregnant, the actress will continue on with her scheduled activities as long as possible. A representative commented, “Han Chae Young will take on her responsibility of being a new mother by taking care of her health, to continue on with her acting career and look after her family as well.”

Han Chae Young will soon be a mother!
On March 5, Han Chae Young′s agency BH Entertainment announced that "after being married for six years, Han Chae Young is now pregnant with her first child."


Recently, Han Chae Young dropped by the hospital for a checkup, and was told that she was in her 11th week of pregnancy.
A rep from her agency said, "She′s currently busy with her drama shoots, but she and her baby are both healthy. Han Chae Young and her family couldn′t hide their happiness at the joyous news."
The rep added, "Han Chae Young will be getting through her schedules and will try to stay on top on her job. She will also take care of her health as much as possible, so that she won′t lose track of both her work and her family."
It was also made clear that Han Chae Young would continue on her career as an actress following the birth of her child.
Han Chae Young wed a businessman four years older than her in 2007. She is currently appearing in the KBS2 drama Ad Genius, Lee Tae Baek.

Actress Han Chae-young got pregnant, six years after she got married.
Her agency BH Entertainment revealed on the 5th of March that the actress was indeed pregnant.
She is currently starring in the KBS 2TV drama "Ad Genius Lee Tae-baek" and she was told by her doctor that she was eleven weeks pregnant. She's busy with the drama but both the baby and mother are in good condition.
"Her friends and family couldn't have been happier about the news. Han Chae-young will make sure to fulfill her duties of her job that she has been set to do for now".
"Han Chae-young will take care of herself as a mother to her child and also, making sure to stay healthy so she can take good care of her family. We hope for everyone's blessings and support until then".

Han Chae-young says she’s pregnant

Han Chae-young, star of KBS drama “Advertising Genius Lee Tae-baek” whose nickname is Barbie due to her looks, is 11 weeks pregnant, according to her agency BH Entertainment yesterday.
Han recently visited a hospital to have a check-up and got the news.
“Han and her family are very happy,” the agency said. “She will focus on taking care of her health and taking on the responsibility of being a mother while she continues to star in [entertainment programs].”
Han has been married for six years to a businessman named Choi Dong-jun. It has been said that she delayed plans to get pregnant so that she could continue to work. 
“She’s been busy with shooting the ongoing drama, but Han and the baby are both in a great condition,” the agency added. 
Han currently stars as a Go Ari, an account executive of an advertising agency who abandoned her old lover in order to focus on her career and own success after graduating from university in New York.

Celebrities Favor Gangnam Luxury Condos

Actor Jung Woo-sung is moving into a luxury condominium in the affluent Gangnam area of southern Seoul where his friend and fellow actor Lee Jung-jae has already bought a unit. 
The condo, currently under construction, is in Samseong-dong. It stands 16 stories high and contains only 18 units between 155 and 293 sq.m. Units cost between W2 billion and W5.5 billion (US$1=W1,151). 
Construction is set to be completed in September.
"A popular singer is also set to move in," claimed a staffer with the developer. "Half the units are sold."
The staffer said celebrities favor luxury condos due to the security and privacy they offer. This brand-new condo is being equipped with a state-of-the-art security system whose surveillance cameras alert in-house personnel if an intruder is spotted, while illegally parked or idling cars nearby are monitored around the clock.
The building has been designed so residents do not run into each other in hallways while waiting for the elevator.
Jung and Lee are not the only celebrities who have chosen to live in luxury condos in Gangnam. Among the others are celebrity couple Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, actor Lee Seung-gi and comedian Lee Hwi-jae. Actresses Song Yun-a, Han Chae-young and Choi Ji-woo, as well as veteran singer Cho Young-nam live in the trendy Cheongdam-dong area of southern Seoul. 
"Celebrities prefer privacy over profiting from real estate sales, so they flock to condos in Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong," said an estate agent.

Han Chae-young returns with two weeks before delivery

Actress Han Chae-young returned to Korea with two weeks left to delivery.
A media reported that she returned from America last week.
Han Chae-young was known to be pregnant during her recent KBS 2TV drama and left to her parents' in the States as soon as it was over.
Apparently, Han Chae-young decided that it would be better to deliver her baby in Korea and she's due in September.
Han Chae-young has been residing in America with her parents, resting and getting ready to give birth. She won't be coming back right away since her delivery but she's been revising the many offers she's been getting from China and overseas as well.
She hasn't returned for good. She will eventually return to the States.
Netizens say, "Is it a daughter?", "I was surprised at the news of her return", "Won't she go back?", "I just hope for no more news like Oh Jeong-yeon and Seo Jang-hoon" and more.
Meanwhile, despite being pregnant Han Chae-young somehow manages to keep looking beautiful.

Korea’s “living Barbie doll” Han Chae Young finally gave birth to a baby!
On August 29, a staff from BH Entertainment revealed that the actress had given birth to a healthy baby boy the day before around 1PM. “Han Chae Young gave birth to her son through a Caesarean. Both the mother and the baby are healthy.”
The baby comes six years after marriage with the businessman Choi Dong Jun. Han Chae Young has hinted at her pregnancy this March during filming of KBS 2TV drama “Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek.” As soon as the season was over, she flew out to the United States to stay with her parents until August 15.

Han Chae-young Gives Birth to a Boy

Korean actress Han Chae-young gave birth to a boy yesterday, according to her agency on Thursday.
Han delivered her son in a hospital in Seoul at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, an official with BH Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone.
The official then added that the mother and son are both healthy.
Han gave birth after six years of her marriage to a businessman in 2004. She flew into Korea earlier this month to give birth after having stayed in the U.S where her parents are residing.
Han, who made her first television and film appearance in 2000, shot to stardom through her role in KBS drama “Delightful Girl Choon-hyang” in 2005 and most recently appeared in drama “AD Genius Lee Tae Baek” in March.
