*** "Ghost Doctor" jumps to the 6% range and it tops Mon-Tues dramas. According to Nielsen Korea,  the drama, which aired last night January 24th, recorded a rating of 6.202% (Ep.7). This is an increase from 5.462% (Ep.6) recorded in the previous episode, making it No. 1 in Monday-Tuesday dramas, and is currently the drama's highest record.

Feast on these hunks of prime Korean beefcakes who have been showing off their toned physiques on screen and social media.

 

K-drama actor Nam Goong-min, Running Man host Kim Jong-kook, reality dating show Single's Inferno's Cha Hyun-seung, boy band BTOB's Minhyuk and OG oppa Rain have been leaving their fans simultaneously thirsty and drooling over their hot bods.

 

Not only do they bare their washboard abs and bulging biceps in photo shoots, but some also share behind-the-scenes looks at how those muscles were honed, uploading video clips of them doing punishing reps at the gym, grunting a lot and sweating it out.

One of the first South Korean stars to go global in the noughties, singer-actor Rain has made a comeback in recent years.

 

What has not changed much since his debut as a back-up dancer a quarter of a century ago is his enviably lean physique.

 

Despite getting married five years ago to actress Kim Tae-hee and having two daughters, he has not succumbed to the dad bod.

 

In fact, the 39-year-old is religious about training, taking the time to work out even when he was on the road filming his latest travel series, The Hungry And The Hairy (2021).

 

In the Netflix series, in which he and comedian-host Ro Hong-chul explore South Korea on motorbikes, he appears to take off his top in every other episode.

 

Even when they were in Jeju in 10 deg C weather, Rain was not deterred from swimming, saying: "I worked out, so why not show off? When else will I get the chance?"

Watch: “Ghost Doctor” Cast Shows Exceptional Chemistry While Bantering Playfully Behind The Scenes

 

 

tvN’s “Ghost Doctor” released a new making-of video!

 

Helmed by “Heirs” director Boo Sung Chul, “Ghost Doctor” is a fantasy medical drama about two doctors who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities, but who end up combining bodies and spirits. Rain stars as genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min, while Kim Bum plays silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak.

 

The new behind-the-scenes video begins with Rain leaning in close to Kim Bum. Rain confesses, “I have already kissed him inside my heart.” He continues to joke, “Even Uee said that my gaze when I look at Seung Tak is [more intense] than when I look at her.” The two fist bump, highlighting their great chemistry.

 

While filming, Kim Bum gets a splinter in his finger. He states, “Leave it to professor Cha Young Min,” as Rain gets tweezers to take out the splinter. When he succeeds, Kim Bum compliments, “As expected of professor Cha Young Min!”

 

When Uee sees Rain arrive on set, she accidentally calls him the director. Uee reveals that there was a similar incident in the past when she called him “teacher” as well. She explains, “It is because he is such a big senior to me.” Rain argues, “But we are friends,” and Uee replies, “I saw you at Dream Concert though.” Uee pretends to be hurt by Rain’s playful prank, and she asks the making-of camera to release the footage.

 

EXID’s Hani joins the set to make her cameo, and the cast and staff cannot stop laughing at Rain’s acting. Hani’s younger brother Ahn Tae Hwan tells her, “The set is really fun.” While watching Rain act, Hani remarks, “He does something [funny], and then he tries to hold in his laughter.” Later, Ahn Tae Hwan sweetly brings a heat pack to Hani so that she can stay warm while filming.

 

Apink’s Son Naeun gets mischievous by writing sticky notes such as “stupid” and “Young Min and Seung Tak” with a heart symbol between their names. She accidentally marks Kim Bum’s doctor gown, and the two tease the staff for getting flustered. When the staff members suddenly ask for Son Naeun’s signature, Kim Bum questions, “Is today your last day? Can you remove this mark before you go?”

 

Another clip captures Uee teasing Rain for getting angry before he realized he was the one to have made a mistake.

 

In between filming, Rain gets so goofy that Kim Bum tries to intervene and stop him. Before filming the final scene, Kim Bum remarks, “My hand is really big, but it looks small [next to yours].” Finally, the two high five after wrapping up filming.

3 Key Points To Look Forward To In The Remaining Episodes Of “Ghost Doctor”

 

 

“Ghost Doctor” has already reached its halfway mark!

 

tvN’s “Ghost Doctor” is a fantasy medical drama about genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min (Rain) and silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak (Kim Bum) who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities but end up combining bodies and spirits.

 

Although they once despised being around each other, Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak have now become a duo that literally cannot be apart. As we continue watching over how their relationship evolves, here are three key points to look out for in the remaining episodes of “Ghost Doctor”!

1. Another danger that will confront Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak

In episode 8, Go Seung Tak learned that Cha Young Min was in danger of losing his life if he kept inhabiting his body, so he tried to keep his distance. Cha Young Min explained to Go Seung Tak, “Rather than letting go and just waiting for the day I die, I want to do what I have to do, and if I’m to do that, I need your help.” After a flood of tears, the two went back to combining bodies and spirits, much to the excitement of viewers.

 

However, Ahn Tae Hyun (Go Sang Ho), who has grown suspicious of Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak’s relationship, finds surgery logs written by Cha Young Min and takes them to Han Seung Won (Tae In Ho). Stay tuned to see whether Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak will be able to cooperate and not get caught when thrown into this sticky situation.

2. The reason why Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak are able to combine bodies and spirits

After successfully completing surgery, Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak excitedly start talking when they run into the question of why they’re only able to combine bodies and spirits with each other. Oh Soo Jung (Apink‘s Son Naeun) already knows about their secret and Tes (Sung Dong Il), the hospital’s senior ghost, tells the two, “You guys must be securely linked,” raising questions about their connection.

 

Once they start working together again, Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak are busy saving the lives of their patients. However, at the end of the latest episode, the duo held hands on their way to handle another emergency patient and in that moment, Cha Young Min’s brain waves slowly began to move. As Cha Young Min has never shown signs of potentially waking up, viewers will soon be able to find out the meaning behind this reaction.

3. The situations that have yet to be solved and the secrets that have yet to be unraveled

When the comatose motorcyclist (Lee Kyu Hyun) wakes up, everyone expects that he will reveal everything about Cha Young Min’s car accident. However, he shocks everyone when he doesn’t remember the promise he made as a ghost, with Go Seung Tak having to tell him the personal stories that he had shared. Viewers can look forward to finding out how the motorcyclist will later reveal the truth behind the accident.

 

Viewers were also shocked by the death of Chairman Jang Kwang Duk (Lee Moon Soo), who had great relationships with his children Jang Se Jin (Uee) and Jang Min Ho (Lee Tae Sung). However, following their father’s death, Jang Min Ho realizes everything’s been taken from him and turns on his sister Jang Se Jin, insisting that he’ll kill her.

 

Once rumors about Go Seung Tak start circulating the hospital, Go Jae Sik (Myung Kye Nam) catches wind of them and he heads to the hospital with an uncomfortable expression. He sits in front of an empty operating room and comments, “I’m here… are you next to me by any chance?” As he says that, Tes appears at his side and the two laugh together, previewing a mysterious relationship between the two.

 

 

Episode 9 of “Ghost Doctor” will air on January 31 at 10:30 p.m. KST while episode 10 airs the day after at 9:10 p.m. KST.

*** "GhostDoctor" last filming. Time flies so fast............... Six months had passed when they started filming the drama last year August. Now, the drama's filming ended yesterday (January 30). Now that the filming is over half of the broadcast has been over as well... We should continue watching the rest of the broadcast of the drama. 6 months of sincere happiness and joy shared between the cast. Surely, they have shared a lot of things, they laugh, cry, get angry, sad, and shared many things together, so it's a little sad that it will be over soon . *** Kim Bum will finally open up to Rain on tonight's episode of  “Ghost Doctor”! On the previous episode Han Seung Won (played by Tae In Ho) began to suspect that Go Seung Tak could see ghosts. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with the comatose Cha Young Min’s brain activity picking up. The two doctors has been becoming closer. The stills, which I posted below (for upcoming EPs) they share a conversation in which Go Seung Tak surprises Cha Young Min by revealing a secret.The next episode of the drama will air tonight January 31 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
