'뉴하트'의 독주도 곧 끝난다. 3월 들어 KBS SBS MBC 방송3사의 사활을 건 수목드라마 3파전이 전개된다. 내로라하는 주연배우와 제작진들이 포진해 있어 시청자 입장에게는 골라보는 재미가 있을 듯 하다.

우선 30%대 시청률을 기록하며 독주를 달리고 있는 MBC가 '뉴하트'에 이어 3월5일부터 배유미 작가의 '누구세요?'(연출 신현창)를 방송한다. 그간 '해피투게더', '로망스', '위풍당당 그녀', '12월의 열대야' 등을 집필한 배유미 작가와 '어느 멋진 날' 등의 신현창 PD가 의기투합했다는 점에서 기대를 모은다.

특히 전역 후 첫 드라마 '사랑에 미치다'로 연기자로서의 가능성을 입증한 배우 윤계상이 주연을 맡았다.

SBS는 28일 막을 내리는 이다해 장혁 주연의 '불한당' 후속으로 3월5일부터 '온에어'(연출 신우철)를 방송한다. 한 편의 드라마가 제작되는 과정 속에서 PD, 작가, 배우, 매니저 등 드라마를 만들어가는 사람들의 이야기를 다룰 예정이라 기대가 높다.

무엇보다 '파리의 연인' '프라하의 연인' '연인' 등 '연인 시리즈'를 탄생시킨 신우철-김은숙 콤비가 손을 잡았다는 점에서 그때의 영광을 재현할수 있을지 기대가 모아진다.

특히 김하늘, 송윤아, 이범수, 박용하라는 쟁쟁한 스타군단이 주연을 맡아 방송전부터 큰 화제가 되고 있다.

KBS는 조현재라는 카드를 들고 나온다. 오는 3월26일 첫방송되는 '엄마 하나 아빠 셋'(가제ㆍ연출 이재상)에서 주현재는 주연을 맡아 군입대 전 대미를 장식할 계획이다. 극중 조현재는 유진, 재희, 신성록과 호흡을 맞춘다.

'엄마 하나 아빠 셋'은 무정자증인 친구에게 정자를 기증한 세 남자와 이 사실을 모른 채 아기를 얻었지만 사고로 남편을 잃은 엄마 사이에 벌어지는 에피소드를 그릴 로맨틱코미디.

특히 가슴 저미는 부성애나 모성애는 아니지만 부모의 정과 남녀간의 사랑을 신선하게 표현할 예정이라 기대를 모은다.

Yoo Jin and Jo Hyun Jae have been cast as the main leads in "Three Dads, One Mom" to be aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS 2TV. Jae Hee and Shin Sung Rok will join the two in the series.

"Three Dads, One Mom" is scheduled to start airing on April 2nd and will be the story of a widow's love and raising a child.

The series is a romantic comedy about three men who donate sperm to a friend who was suffering from aspermia, and the wife who becomes pregnant but loses her husband in an accident.

Producing director Lee Jae Sang of "Dalja's Spring" and writer Jo Myun Joo of "The Vineyard Man" will be directing and writing the series.

Former S.E.S. member Yoo Jin (Eugene) will play single mom Na Young while Jo Hyun Jae, Jae Hee, and Shin Sung Rok are the three men who donate.

Jo Hyun Jae who is returning to the TV screen two years after "Ballad of Seodong" will play a comic role as a successful fund manager. Shin Sung Rok plays the role of an innocent detective who cannot even speak well in front of women while Jae Hee is a 'pretty boy' comic artist who likes girls but doesn't know true love.

The series will start filming on March 3rd.

*** Wooo Hooo…can’t wait for this to start broadcasting. I’ve been waiting for a long while for a Jo Hyun Jae drama. The plot sounds good, too.

My sentiments exactly.. I guess KBS is sticking to what they're good at to win audiences back. The idea of sperm donation is a fresh twist though, so i'm hoping they'll focus a little more on that than pure romance.

But then again, it wouldn't hurt with Jo Hyun Jae, Jae Hee and Shin Sung Rok, three hot guys vying (?) for Eugene's attention. I'm secretly hoping again that the writers will surprise us instead of presenting a straightforward storyline

Well, technically, KBS World drama schedules follows KBS2 TV. Just that there will be a delay of about 3-4weeks to accommodate commissioning/outsourcing to another company to do the English subtitling and encoding before broadcasting on KBS World to International viewers. So far, since late 2006 till now, KBS World has only skipped once, by not showing Snow Queen and replacing it with an older KBS Series.

Will try to remember to post here when this drama's debut episode schedule is available on KBS World. If my rough calculation is not wrong, I think the first episode will probably air on KBS World (Asia) - 1st run on Thurs 18 April 2008 (4am - Korean Time), with a same-day repeat telecast on Thurs 18 April 2008 (10pm - Korean Time).

The casting is really really cool!!!!All of my fav actors!!!Eugene with Jo HyunJae & JaeHee & Shin SungRok,I'm not familiar with him but he looks hot too.And I like the story-line too though single-mom's a bit common like the others said.Can't wait for this drama!!!!It starts shooting from march 3?Eugene's 27th birthday ^^
