Was watching thru'out the whole event..even tho' i didn't understand anything..anyway love the kid winner..he was so baffled not knowing what to say! :D ..so cute! I love the performances by some of the celebs..especially the cast from 'Daughters In Law'. Also so happy for Lee PilMo n Kim JiHoon!. Everybody got some kind of award!. Big winners are 'Capital Scandal' and 'Dae JoYoung' ..awesome!..The hot presenters must be Jang GeungSuk, Ryu Su Young and the guy from 'King N I' (forgot his name)..happy for Chae Rim, Yoon JoongHee n Kim HyunJoo too..i think KBS Awards nite is better than the boring MBC Awards..but we had fantastic MBC dramas tho'..anyway..as expected 'Dae JoYoung' swept most awards..most of the awesome actors in that drama achieved some kind of award!! Choi SooJong cried for a whole minute..!!wow..

but he wasn't a nominee remember? There's a chance he'll be a nominee next year. I remember how casts [those nominated 1 year were not nominated the next of course for the drama they participated in] from the drama Golden Apple were nominees in 2 years (2005 and 2006 if I'm not wrong).

u r right.. those nomintated this year in 1 project could not be for the next year if in the same ! I thought KSS must be norminated in next year.. I just confused.. what norminee list was KSW in announced yesterday? :unsure:

KBS award show was the best out of the three stations.

wow! i'm so happy to know that Chae Rim won for the Top Female Excellence!

she deserved it, she's really brilliant in Dal Ja's Spring!

and its good to know that Kang Ji-Hwan grabbed awards too! i love him!

congrats to Chae Rim and Kang Ji-Hwan!

and of coz congrats to all winners of KBS Drama Awards!

chiara, KangJiHwan isn't the winner for popularity award i think... it's JeongBoSeok from DaeJoYoung :rolleyes:

did any of Mawang casts appear? i think i didn't see them at all...?

and i notice KangJiHwan say thanks to his daum cafe (KangHamSa/withTG) in his speech while HanGoEun to CS gallery (i think it's DC's..?).. so sweet of them :wub: (KJH is indeed close with his fans :) ) did any of other winner say thanks to their fans as well??

i could be bias, but i wanna say, that night is Capital Scandal's :D :D

I was happy to see Yi Pilmo win a much deserved award. I haven't seen him in the Daughter-in-Law series, but he was outstanding in last year's "As the River Flows..." and is great as "Shim Uchan" in Here Comes Ajumma. I was hoping to see his co-star in Ajumma (who I love in this role although her name escapes me :crazy: ), but he was seated upfront with his castmates from "DIL." It looked like Park Hae-Jin from the "Earth and Sky" series almost choked on his water when they read his name off as best actor in a daily drama. :blink: I was also happy for the lead actress of Insoon is Pretty(Kim Hyun Ju), the gorgeous little chick (Han Ji Min) from Scandel in Old Seoul, and the ever lovely Han Hyo-Joo who's smile is a gift to the universe! :rolleyes:

Way to go all that were honored. We are honored that you were chosen to be honored!! :)

Did Nguyen Quoc Tri really win or was this a typo? The name doesn't look like a Korean name.

Also, this question may have been asked before but I'm not familiar with the Korean drama award. What's the difference between top excellent female/male and excellent female/male? Which one is the equivalence of best actress/actor award? What is the daesang and netizen award? Also, why are there two winners for some of the categories?

Nguyen Quoc Tri is a Vietnamese actor. He appeareed in One-Act drama "Time to eat Lobster"(?).

The girl to his left is also a Vietnamese. She is there to interpret for him. He has flown to Korea to receive the award.

You're probably rite, kiTy. I kinda missed that part. I thought this was announced in the 2nd part and they called Kang Ji Hwan and Han Hyo Joo to the stage. Maybe others could confirm it. I'd be happy to edit the winners' list.

You are right....It is Lee Tae Ran.

They won the Top Female and Male Excellence Awards last year and so are back this year to give out the same awards.

Lee Tae Ran won for her role in 'The Famous Chil Princesses'. She was the only winner in that category last year.

Ryu Soo Young won for his role in 'Seoul 1945' together with another actor Shin Goo for 'Pure 19'.
