Guest ohmylamb.
I heard there are snapshots of the movie in their official website koizora-movie.jp But it's in Japanese so I can't navigate. Well, I can but I fear I accidentally make an order of their DVD So anyone can post their snapshots here? Or tell us non-Japanese people which buttons to press? OK nevermind. I figure it out. However, I can't click and save the pictures. T3T

elizabeth
Koizora turns into a drama TBS has announced that it is producing a television drama based on "Koizora," the mobile phone novel that became a hit movie last year. The film starred Yui Aragaki and Haruma Miura, and both saw their popularity rise after the movie took in 3.9 billion yen from more than 3.1 million admissions. The drama will feature an entirely new cast, with auditions being held for both Aragaki's and Miura's roles. Producers are said to be seeking unknown actors, particularly a girl who can be cultivated into becoming "the next Gakky (a nickname for Aragaki)." The cast is expected to be finalized by mid-June so that filming can begin for a summer broadcast. TBS will be airing the drama in its recently revamped Saturday 8:00pm time slot, which currently is the home of the baseball drama "ROOKIES." Although the cast will be new, the production team is being carried over from the film, giving them another shot at the story. The team includes Natsuki Imai as director, Mutsuki Watanabe as screenwriter, and Shin Kono doing music. -Although, I haven't seen the movie yet(still waiting for subs) I just hope that it doesn't really ruined the movie and I'm looking forward to the new cast. credits to tokyograph
Guest I_broke_a_nail!
HARDSUBBED VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED. http://users.livejournal.com/mystic_water_/ she has the hardsubbed version =D and timed it properly. edit the koizora drama will suck although the story fits more to a drama (because the movie is a span of 4 years) Miura will always be Hiro. Unless they get some AMAZING actor, alot of people will be disappointed. Plus the person playing Mika shouldn't change! Hiro and her had such cute chemistry. baoi
^ agreed. Being a Marketing Major, that's just an awesome way of marketing a product, by making a whole story about it, (BUT, that may ONLY work in Asia) Anyway, i really can't wait til my DL finishes. Guest amdpc
that's great except that MU is a bit crappy with these country limitations. Can I ask those who were able to get it from MU to put it up on ziddu.com? this site lots better than MU.
Guest I_broke_a_nail!
loved miura ever since i laid eyes on him back in 14 sai no haha LOL its kind of ironic how he knocks up a girl in 14 sai no haha AND in Koizora But 14 sai no haha, is like the polar opposite of his role on koizora. he was such a wimp in 14sainohaha
Guest redmoon123
^ LOL I've noticed the same thing too. I didn't have a good impression of Miura when I saw him in Gokusen 3. But after seeing this movie, I like him more. He looks hot with blond hair!!! :]

This type of romantic theme is very familiar to me and I think a drama is the best way to fully show how the main character's family/background shaped the way they are today. however i do like Yui x Haruma so I don't know 2 other ppl who can portray those roles i think Yui actually did a better job acting than Haruma. I felt he was trying to hard to be tough. He still needs more acting experience, but it's alright cuz he's such eye candy! but i really did love the image and color of the picture. the red field and the sky....very pretty.and also the music was amazing
