@SC2019This will be completely off topic, but GWG would have been perfect if he was 10 years younger in Pillow book. LOL...he got that eternal king look..but his older face gave him a bit of wisdom that DJ needs.

Spoileras @Yinye mentioned, all the editing was choppy..I really dont mind if this drama had extended to 50-55 and that would make a good drama...wish they did.

@debbsthebee completely agreed!! This drama has soo much potential to be great, but everything was just mehhh. I only finished it because of the MC.
I feel that the writers had so many ideas and put them all the drama, but couldn't execute them correctly. They set up all different ways for more chaos, but then no chaos really happened.
SpoilerOld Taijin could have came out from the mysterious hiding spot and told the world about the bad Yu Yu..
I also dont understand why the moon flowers couldn't save her again? There seems to be about a bouquet left from last time, he only used 4 petals.
SpoilerI've always wonder how YY would look if he played DH DJ, now I know...nope! hahhaa. Geo Wei Wang still rocks that hair style better than anybody i've seen in drama.
Goodbye to this drama, it was entertaining. YY and ZLS are always eye candies for the screen. Now i need to find a new drama to get through the week.

I really give up on all the plot holes in this drama.. As suspected, everything is rushed at the end. I really feel like 34-36 should be about 2/3 into the story, not the end. But eh..i'm just gonna ride out this drama since there's only 4 more episodes.
Hopefully, it will be a good ending.

I agreed with everyone here.. I was wayyyyy over YongZhou states dilemma. This drama is about ruling the world, yet they spent 15 episodes about his family scheming him, over and over again. Come on! What about the other 5 states, they don't fight each other? Why is YongZHou the only one with crazyyyy internal turmoil? **sorry, it's just a bit frustrating**
Also, BFX doesn't have good character development. Really, nobody has good character development, except his older brother & HFX (his is..ehhh). I dont like that BFX doesn't have a background story, except she's the princess, and that's it. She is smart and cunning, but she only follows HFX. She's supposed to be the lead right? Not a supporting role.
Where is her arc? We have 10 more episodes to go, and I feel everything will be rushed.
And don't get me started with the "mysterious" token that pops in an out for convenience.
Overall, I like the drama for entertainment purposes, but Im not gonna bet money on it winning any awards for great scripts and characters.

I finally finished all the episodes! MOnday is tomorrow! WHoo hOO!
One complaint, my sister & I have is, that the names of the characters..Feng Feng Feng..every where you go, that last names keep popping up. It's very confusing. I'm sure in Chinese, the writing and meaning are different, but to us foreigners..it's all the same. lol..ALso, Chuyua and ChuyuaN...**face palm**
I really love all the costumes in this drama..Yang Yang looks soooo good..
I love him in blue. ZLS outfits are very cute, allowing her to be very active. i like it.

I dont like the format for mydramalist. It's hard to follow the discussion there. I wish more people would discuss here.
With that being said, this drama is pretty good! I like the chemistry between YY and LS.
@Yinye Will this be a HE story? From what i heard, the novel was happy ending, but with a slight twist.

@Latte_Anyday my mind immediately when there when I saw him holding it. And the crazy sly smile on the rocket says it all. Hahha. YT's thought, "I want you to take my rocket." Hahaha.
SpoilerI think the thing with the pillow was because she complained the pillows were too high and she didn't sleep well. So his thought was he will remove them so she can sleep better. Get all the pillows out of the way so they will have room for other stuff. Hahah.
Though, that damn bed has a lot of pillow! I don't know how he can keep throwing them. Haha.

I just wanna say, from the biggest disappointed in Reba's kissing scenes in Pillow Book. I was highly satisfied with her performance in this drama. **kiss kiss** Thank you director for satisfying our imagination

I do like the maturity in their relationship. She knows what she wants and he figures out quickly that he likes her. There won't be any misunderstanding
SpoilerHe has his hesitation but I like that it isn't because she is a celebrity and makes more money than him. Due to his job, he just can't give her a stability like a normal couple.
A couple things I don't like about YT. 1) Can the guy have a different outfit? What is with all the black? We saw his closet, we know he owns other neutral colors. He seems so emo with the black. 2) Can we give YY more dialogues? He's always contemplating and brooding. His lines are quite short. In the book, we don't hear from him much either (because it's mainly written from QJJ's POV), but I was hoping the screen writer would give him more fillers in the drama. NOPE! He has such a soothing voice. I would love to hear more...
Next week will probably be a bit of angst...

They pretty much followed the book story line, which I really appreciate.
@madmad min I totally agree with the make up. RB is a pretty girl, but her make up is a total disaster. I don't mind her lipstick, I just wish they added some coloring to her face. She looks so white, it's pale and ghostly.
I'm pretty sure the romance is gonna pick up this week...can't wait!

@pad-hari I really like how ep 26 they have the guy singing the OST (that the female always sing), it's a nice change.
I wish I can understand Chinese watching these previews!!

I don't know about you guys but I love the fact that they aren't shy about sleeping with each other the first night of confession.

This drama is sooo funny. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the second lead couple. I usually ship the second leads more than the main couple, but this drama is not the same. I just skipped their entire story line....
but THANK GOODNESS for the main lead and their chemistry! I love it soo much.
I' just finished episode 11-12 and just wanna let you guys know in advance, there are more and more cute (bickering) scenes to come.
What I love about this drama is , there are no shyness between the main couple, they act very natural and fitting to their long term relationship.
@Alila N It was definitely tough love for YS toward JJ, and there are a few misunderstanding in the past too.

I'm on ep 20.. I didn't see this part. Yet I saw it every where and I remember it was in the novel too. Is there a version where they edited out? I'm so confused..
