My heart is so full today!! Binjin is getting married!!

What an amazing journey we have gone through together with our beloved couple. All the ups and downs, the crumbs, receipts, speculations, confirmation and now finally - MARRIAGE!!!

Soompi is where I started my journey with CLOY and Binjin, and I am so happy to say a BIG CONGRATS to Binjin and also all the loyal Binjin fans here and all over the world and different SNS. Be happy together forever Yejin and Hyun Bin!!

Can't believe it's the 2nd year anniversary of this Legendary Soompi Binjin thread!! This is where I met so many wonderful fellow shippers, who are passionate, talented, funny and have the same love for Binjin as me.

Btw, I also love LMJ and Lee Sang Yeob's chemistry as a couple in the KBS family drama Once Again. Both of them won best actor/ actress award for drama serial category in APAN. Seems LJS and LMJ became good friends after the drama and the comment a lot on each other IG's posts. Maybe they were already privately joking about HB's romantic APAN speech lol!

For fans who might not know much about Cinderella 7, here's a thread that has info about them. I love this group of fans that YJ has cuz they are her strong foundation and support in life and also in her career.

Hello Binjin shoppers!

Haven't posted here for awhile but have always read and follow everyone's posts here. My heart is still warm and fluttering after APAN (despite the whole mess they made earlier). Have read so many posts about this here and also on twitter and IG. So many heartfelt comments and thoughts, and everyone is so happy for Binjin couple. Somehow their happiness became our happiness.

I've read so many posts, but this particular one stood out to me. It is written in chinese and is short but so meaningful. Found it cuz of YJ's new account in xiaohongshu, as this fan was sharing that YJ has weibo and now this new xiaohongshu account.

Here's the post, and a simple translation:

From colleagues who respect and admire each other, to friends who share same experiences and got close to one another, they are now finally able to openly to declare to the world that they are a couple in real life, loving each other and choosing to spend the rest of their lives together, just like what YJ said "working hard to cultivate the relationship".

YJ's APAN greetings video has been reposted with the subs stating it's 23 Jan (YJ announced it as 24 Jan). Looks like chances for YJ to attend APAN is high again! Also hope HB will be there too! And that they will both win awards (YJ's already has the Seezn one in her bag).

Thanks for sharing the news on Jiang Shuying. I actually laughed at her post cuz she was likely just joking and trying to be witty. But sorry gal, HB only belongs to SYJ and SYJ alone LOL!

This actress is pretty popular currently in China and has shown her love for HB before in TV programs. But I am sure its all in good fun. A fun fact - she was the ex-girlfriend of Hu Ge, who is a top S-tier and super popular and respected actor in China.

I am excited to watch KBS special feature tonight on Binjin's love story. Will we get new unseen footages of the 2018 interview? Maybe interviews with MCs and hosts and others who have observed them with each other.

For sure SK media still cannot stop talking about Binjin. Their news was trending again on Naver few days ago.

It's 210111! Our dear Queen Yejin's birthday, as she crosses the significant age of 40 in korean calendar. It warms my heart to think that this is the THIRD YEAR that she is spending it with the "good person" that she is so grateful to have met and the person she is working hard with to cultivate and tend to their relationship with lots of care.

Happy birthday Yejin! You are beautiful inside and out and deserve all the love and happiness this world (and Kim Tae Pyung) has to offer!!

I will not go into in-depth discussion about what you think of HB or YJ or even about Soompi thread, as that is up to you. Will just say that I have different thots, and leave it as that.

But I am curious of the quote you posted above that is supposed to be from a HB long time fan. It looked very familiar to me so I went checking and found it at another shipper's thread. I think it will be wise for us to be VERY CAUTIOUS about taking the words from another ship about Hyun Bin. I believe I don't have to explain why.

We are still celebrating Binjin Confirmation and don't want anything to disrupt our happiness and bliss. Here in Binjin thread, sincere fans love both HB and SYJ equally, respect and think highly of them equally, believe BOTH are man and woman of strength, wisdom and character, EQUALLY. Both have changed for the better for one another. None is above or below the other, they are of equal status in their relationship.

Let's focus on celebrating Binjin, both as a couple and also individually as Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin!

P.S. I believe YJ fell for HB just the way he is, and not because he changed himself for her. In the same way, YJ was able to be herself because HB love her just the way she is. That's why they match so well and became close so fast. Truly a Match Made in Heaven!

Thanks a million for posting the radio show link and also the summarised translation! Just listened to it and Carol Cheng is super funny and witty as usual LOL! I laughed so much listening to how she desribed Binjin and all the signs and clues. She was actually more delirious and "high" in her previous talks about Binjin, maybe cuz its the anticipation and hope yet not knowing the real deal. While in this one, she sounded so proud and confident, like how all of us feel when we know that all the receipts and crumbs we discussed were ALL TRUE! Hahaha!!

Also, listening to the actual chat in the radio show was so much funnier then just the info discussed in the chat, but it's so difficult to translate cantonese slang and all the funny banter btwn Carol Cheng and her fellow hosts.

I just love that a superstar veteran and experienced entertainer like Carol Cheng is also a Binjin Shipper like us, and that she is also as happy as us that Binjin Confirmed.

Don't worry, the comparison was how HB treated YJ vs his other female leads during bts. Like in kissing scenes, when with other FL, there will be discussion, then kiss, then immediately walk away. While with YJ, it will be kiss, then laugh. It doesn't refer to the actual scenario of the drama at all, which should be based on script and storyline.

My thots - HB has always been a gentleman to all his co-stars, and remains friendly and polite. But we can see the different sparks when he is with YJ, where he is more playful, and happy and laugh all the time. I love how they laugh a lot together so much - they really make each other so happy.

@MY15 I don't recall a co-star fall off a chair and he didn't react, but I do recall in The Swindler press con, Nana the FL has her mic on the chair, and she took it herself while HB (who was besides her) did not pay attention and handed it to her, as what he did for YJ.

Was reading thru so many posts and enjoying all the excitement before I have the chance to reply your reply. Thanks for translating Carol Cheng's radio show. I can't even recall my previous translation now, as I translated while listening to the program. Can understand verbal cantonese but can't read the characters esp the complex ones (simple ones are OK).

Reading Carol Cheng's IG new year post is pretty funny cuz I can just imagine her saying it out loud in her sassy and funny way. I am sure she is super happy and excited that Binjin finally confirmed their relationship. Reminded me of the many times she discussed about Binjin in her program.

I hope that you will watch out for Carol's radio show and IF she does talk about Binjin, that you will update us here. Always enjoy the funny Binjin and CLOY chats that she and her fellow MCs have on that show.

Is everyone still alive? I am still walking on cloud 9, feeling that it's a dream that Binjin confirmed their relationship today and YJ posted and confirmed on her IG with the cutest and most heartfelt, sincere words ever. She is SO REAL and her simple "I am grateful to meet a good person" just melts my heart.

Remember the famous HK veteran actress/ MC/ radio DJ Carol Cheng? I translated a few of her radio program before where she talked about CLOY and a lot about Binjin cuz she is a big Binjin shipper. I was wondering if she will say anything and she DID!! On her IG account. Here is her post :

I still cannot believe that IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Was checking Dispatch news and twitter first thing in the morning SK time and as of 9.30am there was nothing. Went and checked some other stuff, came back to twitter news and BABAM!! The Dispatch news and pictures of Binjin came out, around 9.45am SK time.

What a time to be alive as Binjin fans!! This tweet is so true to all the Binjin Believers here in Soompi, Twitter, IG and all over the world!!

Reading the Dispatch news with auto-translate, I believe this has been checked with Binjin before it was released, or at least Dispatch is protecting them with the 8 months dating narrative. I am really happy for Binjin, that they are finally ready to reveal their relationship. I know we are waiting for their confirmation, but I really do believe they will say YES this time. All the "close associate" reports are very positive about them developing feelings for each other, missing each other, spending time together with juniors, at golf etc.

Sigh....I am contented. What an AWESOME way to start 2021!!

Thank you so much to all the Binjin shoppers here who has continuously updated this thread with Binjin goodies, news, pictures, discussions etc, keeping it alive and active and so much fun!

Today we received a double gift from HB-Vast and SYJ-MSTeam. Vast IG updated with HB's Esquire Omega pictures and MSTeam IG updated with SYJ-BAU Elle pictures. This is the 2nd time this happened - the 1st time was on 18 Nov, similar updates ie Vast : HB-Omega-Esquire and MSTeam : SYJ-BAU-Elle. Not one to over-read or over-interpret things, even I feel excited about this double updates, 2 times within one month. I really like this COINCIDENCE. Or maybe it is DESTINY. Lol!

CLOY and RiRi showed us how hard they worked to protect their love and finally be together. Thanks so much for showing us the similarities in HB and YJ's words when they looked back at their early debut work. It's quite amazing that they said almost the same thing, that when they looked at those works again, it feels rather cringy to them. Yet they know that they can play those roles that way only during their early years. That they won't be able to interpret it the same way again now.

It reminds me what they say about each other during TN interviews, that they share many similar experiences and thinking, that they almost don't have to speak but already understand each other. And how passionate they both are about acting, to the point they want to work together again as they admire and respect each other's performances and want to be opposite each other again as acting partners, in the same room and breathing the same air. This strong mutual admiration for each other, the same passion and thots as actors, is what I believe set a strong foundation for their relationship. Again, is it a Coincidence or is it Destiny? Whatever it is, my wish is for them to find happiness together, as life partners and best friends.

Excuse me for being a bit sentimental today.....I guess all the Binjin news and updates we got really made me happy and emotional LOL!! Plus @RiRiGaGa's CLOYversary poem really gave a TRIPLE DOSE of Binjin Feels.

Let's patiently wait and hope, that what we long for will happen (soon we hope haha).

Happy One Year Anniversary to CLOY! The Kdrama that paved the way for the 4th Hallyu wave, and also light up the Binjin fire in many of our hearts here.

This iconic drama Intro of CLOY is one that I will never skip when watching from one episode to another. HB and SYJ has so much chemistry, even when they are not in the same screen.

CLOY is BInjin's project of love, and a precious heritage that they have created, out of their love and passion for their work, and I also believe out of love and admiration for each other.

Just a quick note on the MetroStyle polls. I believe one reason many Binjin fans are not interested is because in a previous poll for Actress, we have bad experiences with the voting where they extended the voting days (while Yejin was winning) and on the last day of voting (when YJ was #2) the site was not working well and froze most of the time. I was also voting and got really frustrated. So I guess many fans felt mad and even think the poll could have been rigged (not proven, just fans theory).

After this incident, many fans vowed not to have anything to do with MetroStyle polls anymore. It's unfortunate but this happens a lot in voting.

Whoever wants to vote for HB, SYJ and CLOY for this poll, please go ahead. Some are too tired to vote anymore, so they pass the baton to others LOL!

With Google releasing its top ranked list worldwide and by country, we are getting more and more CLOY top ranking news!

Here's a summary of the top ranking list that CLOY is listed so far. I am sure more and more will be added!

Here's the one for Google Philippines. Unsurprisingly, CLOY is ranked #1!

Besides that, HB is ranked #3 for most-searched male personality in Phil. And for most searched Korean personality, HB is #1 and SYJ at #7. Well done Binjin and CLOY!!

Here's another great news about CLOY's performance in 2020, this time in SK report. If I understand it correctly, its ranking the online video views of Kdramas in SK. Though in 2020 CLOY ranked #3 (124mil) after TWOM (220mil views) and Once Again (183mil views), if we take CLOY's 2019 episodes in Dec, total CLOY view is actually 191mil means it ranks #2!!!

Big congrats to CLOY!! We also have news from :
- Japan - CLOY part of Top 10 trend words in 2020
- Singapore - top Google and Yahoo search TV drama in 2020
- Philippines Inquirer and other media top list Kdrama

- Asian Academy Creative Best Drama Grand Prize

It was SOOO satisfying to see CLOY being announced as the Best Drama Grand Prize winner in the Asian Academy Creative Award. Dir Lee indeed looked surprised - love that he was wearing a tuxedo for the online appearance. He seems to have lost a bit of weight and I couldn't recognise him at first. Really happy for him and writer Park Ji Eun, and rest of the cast and crew of CLOY.

Super proud of CLOY team, esp Writer Park Ji Eun and Director Lee Jung Hyo. Congrats too to our RiRi couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, and rest of the cast and crew!! This came on top of the recent 2020 Visionary Award that was given to writer Park Ji Eun by CJ ENM!!

Hi Binjin Shoppers! I have been looking through Channel20binjin IG posts as the OP has some wonderful pictures and lovely captions of our couple. Besides that, Jenny of Jennyhouse has also been liking quite a number of her posts. I selected all the posts liked by Jenny and find there's almost a story to tell about Binjin based on the captions. I believe Jenny understands English well, and these Likes by her almost seems like her well wishes and hopes for Binjin couple (OK OK, let me be delulu-ing here haha).

I am sharing all these posts here (liked by Jenny) starting from the very first one she liked (date 9 Sept'20), to the most recent one from 2 days ago (around 2 Dec'20). My favourite is her LIKE for Binjin's couple pix in Switzerland which was shared by YJ on her IG on 24 Dec 2019.
