We see CY and CS at the palace gate where CY is in a rush to mount a horse, Omo! is that ‘Red’?! ) while CS reports intel on GC and party and offers to send back-up. CY orders them to wait, he will go by himself. CY rides through the night to catch up to GC’s party. While at the palace NG prays for them and GM worries.

In GC’s carriage, ES tries to explain to GC about heavens door, solar flares etc. , which he does not understand. Hey! I don’t understand it too! and I’m from the future ) ES is not sure to what time they will appear at the other side. With that uncertainty GC is still adamant to go through. GC thinks that there he will find a cure for his illness. ES tells him she is willing to guide him but he would have to let him go, but GC insist she comes with him. ES, there is no use talking to a mad person, you might as well talk to the wall.

Anyways, back to the couple.

They are both lying in bed.  I think they might just have done the deed and just put back their clothes on (haha).

CY is propped on his elbows, looking at ES who has her eyes closed.

He tells her that tomorrow is the day that the gate opens.  Are there people on the other side of the gate that she wants to say goodbye to?

ES asks if she can.

CY says that he will escort her there.  

ES says that GC might be there.  If it comes down to a fight, will he be able to defeat him?

CY says that he thinks he can defeat him.  And he keeps on looking at her face.

So she asks, why?

He says he would like to remember, now that he does not have to forget.

ES puts her hand on his face, starts to slowly trace his features, starting from his eyes, his nose and ending on his heart-shaped lips  (mmm, like this part with the lips).

He takes hold of her hand and brings it to his lips and plants a gentle kiss on it.

With a beautiful smile he tells her to get some sleep.

ES complies and closes her eyes.

He gently caresses her hair as he watches her go to sleep.

Next Scene:

That night! CY and ES spends the night at the Inn.

sia: The way this scene is shot, it is as if we all are the peeping Tom(s) peeking at uri imja couple's private bed scene ) =)) :x

They are laying in bed together, sharing the same blanket. CY is looking at ES and he confirms from ES that heavens door is opening the next day. He asks if she will be alright. CY then asks if at the other side there are people she wishes to say good bye to. ES asks if she could say her farewell. CY tells her he will escort her.

ES tells him GC might come, he says he knows. ES asks if there is a fight and if he can win.
He answers that he believes he can defeat GC.

CY stares at ES intensely that makes ES asking him why he is staring at her.
Waaahhhh!!! That stare, that stare!!! *swooon heaven.

CY answers he wants to remember and from that moment he does not need to forget. 

ES touches CY face and traces his nose and lips. Waaaaahhhh!!! I want to do that too! I want to know how smooth his face is and feel his lips!!! ) )

sia3: While @Maja wants to do that, I too would like to do the same, but I also want to pinch that extra fatty cheek ) =)) And maybe I can pinch all the fats away! *sighs* X(

CY grabs the hand that was tracking his face, nose and lips and kisses her hand softly and sweetly (Gyaaaaaa.....so sweet).

He then smiles and tells her to sleep, that’s it just sleep and then nothing?! in which ES obeys (why so obedient???).

While ES closes her eyes and sleeps, CY continues to adore his woman and brushes her hair. Really, like that will just ... er... I doubt she really falls asleep. )

@Gukja - I know I know - STAB STAB STAB that PD Just because he is a hot warrior doesn't mean he can't have tears....tears of relief and  happiness!!!!!! What is wrong with you PD - Don't tell me you have never cried before!!!!!

At that point, he had not only lost Eun Soo's trust in his production, but faced yet again continued service under a king whose orders he carried out with little conviction.

In direct contrast, he now answers to the affirmative because, with renewed purpose and Eun Soo's unspoken faith in him, he truly believes that he can face any opponents or obstacles that he is challenged with.
