Hello there! I'm new.... in fact, new to the entire universe of FORUM.
I've never joined a forum before; but I've visited this soompi forum almost everyday, I've seen @apqaria 's posts the most, then @samzz , @cocomhe posts, which all I thoroughly enjoy  
So! if I'm here, mind as well contribute!!! 
@apqaria here is a traslation of what LDH said in the video:

Well, it feels great to finally join in the forum (this I have thought for months) and I will say this beforehand, thanks to all members in this soompi forum for their wonderful post, pictures and updates, (believe me that it had kept my bored life quite alive and exciting ) 
Below are some questions (I believe this has been ask before) :
What is the project that captivated you the most in LDH 's entire career? and What do you think she'll do in her next project?
I personally think she'll stay in the Chinese market and take on a movie or two, because it seems she truly wants to dominate the language! I just hope they don't do the dub that they did in Love Actually for those movies LDH has a beautiful voice hands down!!

About your questions, my favorite project for her is "Miss Ripley". And for her next project, I really can't guess what she is up to but I agree with you that she indeed working so hard to master the language and that means she really wants to expand her career more there. But I hope she takes on more movies there which I think much better and known than dramas. And I can't agree more about the dubbing, it is a shame we don't get to hear her voice in her projects
But I would share my wish for her next project, which is a Korean Movie. I don't mind any genre as long as it has a good and meaty role for our girl and with good director and writer.
Anny, about the sunglasses in that third image, I agree with you. I like this the most too mainly because I can see her eyes through them

I have already told AQ, that I will try to make this thread alive for all Dahae's fans and also for myself cos I don't have to go to many places if I want some k-entertainment. Just using Dahae's Naver, Nate, Weibo, etc I can get all other information as well.

so she's having another vacation again-I bet after this maybe she will be going to LA-she always spent her summer there, i will alert my friend there, in case they bump into her again.
Hope her friends YF and Anna, can persuade her to eat more-she needs more carbo and fat.

Abt ur Q,I would choose Lotus flower fairy and Miss Ripley which shows her in diff side which i never imagined.But Yoo rin in My Girl will always be best for me if u want me to smile and enjoy :)Hmm for her next project i don't have any idea but as she said in her previous interview that she doesn't get that much offer for rom-com projects so don't know.If i see all her previous project then every role is different from each other so i am sure her next would be different too if its in korea and if in china then anything is possible.Looking forward to her next but i guess no hopes till august:( And yes our girl can speak such fluent chinese even chinese fans say so then why not use her own voice in her drama will wait for the day when we can get her original voice in drama.

Anny, yes sometimes we have difficulties entering this forum-like you I just wish she stay in Asia region, no need to go to Hollywood, to try her luck again unless she's really ready or have strong background in big screen. Asia movies are getting better anyway, even higher quality than Hollywood.

@apqaria well, I guess if she's in China right now, she's bound to return to Korea by August! Don't know why; but I prefer to see her in Korea! I have this feeling like she helds more events in korea than in anywhere else. Plus! she gets photographed more often in korea (even though this might be a disturbance for her private life )
@samzz you sure know how to stay inform! I guess I can only relay on this forum to know what I know now its so cool that you're friends could bump into her ( did I just say that like it were something that happens all the time LOL I wish! ) btw thanks for the photos! she was most fashionista in Miss Ripley, even though I like her closet more in IRIS 2 (guess I kinda like the whole autumn and winter clothing more)

Thanks for the replies!! I agree with @Annya that Lotus Flower Fairy was a wonderful role that place her on the entertainment spotlight! it made her go through so much transformations in only ONE ROLE! I am deeply impress! but through her evolution, I would say Miss Ripley would be the most challenging, the moment when Miri took the train and stared into the eyes of Hirayama! that scene KILLED ME! that smile with a drop of tear that streams down across her face was EPIC! it was that! then came the scene where she was in the play ground inside the park with Hirayama (oddly, almost all of my fav scenes of her was when she's with Hirayama, and its not like I'm a fan of the guy, but he's a wonderful actor no doubt) and to state the grand finale, for me, of course it was the scene where she poured her heart out against her mother inside the hospital room! IT WAS BREATHTAKING! 
However I would have to say that the role I loved the most of her filmography it would have to be IRIS 2 (even though I hate how the show turned out to be, and how her character evolved through the serie) if the script had been written in another way, I would have loved it even more! 
I hope she doesn't have to rest that long! the wait is a KILLER! 
Did I mention how LDH can cry! SHE CAN CRY LIKE NO OTHER! its not too exaggerated nor is it too motionless, she always manage to give out a sufficient cry (I can't believe how I just describe that I hope I'm understood) What do you guys thinks?
Here's an idea of a role I'm thinking that would be exceptionally challenging for LDH, plus its something she had never done before, so it would be fresh and new : 
For drama: A doctor, rather it is a rom-com or melodrama.For movie: A Psychological thriller --> A psychiatric patient who is obviously not crazy ; but there rest the importance of story telling ,   ( say " i "   if you guys agree LOL ) these kind of role are most likely to be the most challenging one)
What do you guys think? any suggestions??

@yhch88 and Anny, each time "Lotus Flower Fairy" is mentioned I feel sad that I didn't watch that drama till now. I know it is a wonderful role and performance for our girl which got her a Baeksang award but still can't find time to watch all those episodes and also without subs (
Our girl is surely a crying queen. Most of her crying scenes touch me deeply :x which was actually the first thing I was so attracted by when I first saw her acting. And her smiling cry is the best :x
And you have mentioned my most favorite scenes in Miss Ripley. And I would like to add the scene in which she got hit by Hee Joo, that was another great scene :x 
And also this one with Myung Hoon, it was THE PERFECT crying for me :x :x


And for her next project I am not creative but sometimes when I see a project/role I like, I want our girl to do something like it. 
One of those that she get to do a melo movie in which she plays an actress. I want it dark, which shows the heroine struggling to get to her dream to be an actress and when she reaches that she just try to be herself in a world full of manipulation and corruption and try to find among the people around her one who loves her as she is as a person. But she has her ups and downs in which she suffers from depression and tries to commit suicide but she gets up again and go against the corrupted system.
Another role I can't get over is to see her as a dancer and escort in a historical Movie (That one we almost got to see her do) who is actually a part of a group trying to make a revolution against the king. 
I would also like to see her in that sword woman role that Gold mentioned
Also like you I want to see her as a mental patient. That came to my mind when I saw that Marie Claire photo-shoot, specially this picture

But although I really want our girl to find her right man soon but still, it doesn't matter to me if she and LYF are just friends or more than that. At least we know she is enjoying her time and happy and they are also making me having a good time following their news, it making me busy

About dubbing, the greedy fan in me will be very sad not to hear her voice in projects because of dubbing specially if she starts doing more projects in China (
At least she can do for once a role of Korean lives in China which will explain her accent. But I have to agree that if she portrays a Chinese specially in historical projects (which I actually wish she would take) it may hurt the project if they didn't dub her voice.
And About our girl and violet, although that is not a popular color to see in general but I really love it and I can say that our girl actually wore it before with its different tones. Here is some pictures

hehehe, AQ, I know it will makes you happy-what I like about this is to see her really attached to someone (even I have my own bias and fav oppa for her), I'm ok as long she's happy --with a hope that this will protect her from powerful and dirty men that interested in her (from what the insider told me), or men that want her just for their own pleasure. I know her agency will not happy seeing this, and the original message from weibo and conversation about this have been deleted also.
Anyway, not sure how this long distance friendship can last-it's not working with Wilber, even though we know both of them really like each other. 
I'm waiting for the development....kkkkk
and waiting for Wilber response too (if he still cares)-cos before this I remember Dahae's chinese fans even said,- Dahae need to be careful when talking about  other men cos Wilber will gets jealous.

@samzz:I don't get what the craze abt hollywood its good if u are approached by them looking at ur talent rather then u going there and asking for work .I don't get why ppl go crazy if the actor works in hollywood i agree it big,but then getting 5 minutes of tiny miny role or side role.Its ok if u are doing it for exprience purpose but then trying hard to get role in hollywood is waste of time.
U are right Asia movies are getting better there are so many fans of it.But samzz that what we think don't know what they think.

I have tie between both MR and LFF since LFF was in start of carrer when she was new and MR was like when everyone
knew who LDH is.Both the drama are diff from eachother but the highlight is LDH acting.But agree with u doing MR
could not be easy for her it but i am glad she did it.I am sure everyone here definately loves the scene u mentioned and the pic of which Gold posted.Even i have to many fav scene of her with hirayama .Actually the actor playing the role and LDH know each other so they put some of ur own idea and suggestions in scenes and have to say they have done wonderful job.
I agree Iris2 would have been added to list of good role but due to bad script her role was not shaped properly but i could say if it would have done properly even in this role she would have shine more.But i love her kick richard simmons scenes.
Haha she is called Queen of crying well deserve title.I always think that an actors eye should be expressive if its sad,happy or crying scene.
My first drama of LDH was My Girl and when the crying scene of her came my heart hurt seeing her cry specially the scene of LDH with LJK in episode 7 when LJK ask her Do u like Goong Chan that much and she explains and when she says Shhhh with that spoon Not only that there are many scene before it when u find her emotions in her eyes.And yes i understand how u feel abt her cry it just touch ur heart and u feel pain of the character.
I thought abt her doing doctor role but then taught whether i will get to see her in doctor role .I like the idea hope it comes true.And good idea Psychological thriller but don't know why movie is not happening with her.

Gold:Oo u mentioned all the crying scenes of her it gave me flashback of all the scene infront of me.I like the idea of LDH and WonBin or Jo in sung.Will we ever get to see them act together? Gold but they should find someone for dubbing whose voice sound similar to LDH is it that hard to do,then i don't mind dub.They can realease orginal dub voice sound in original DVD so if someone want to watch with orginal voice they can.

AQ i have seen a movie with the story u have mentioned i don't mind watching her doing this role actually every actor and actress have there own story too.Why not show what happens inside Ent world of theres.How contreversy affect them how they suffer becz of it.And she can surely pull the role with her talent.

If she can play twins or double role in any series it would be good it can be melo or funny.Atleast i will get to see two different character in one series.

There are so many nice novels from which they can make good series but they don't do it.Make something from Mill and boon something romantic.I want to see romantic drama.

yes Anny, if invited by the producer over there that's diff story, and of course we will support her 100%. Trying there alone with nobody accompanied her or by other influential person or name is a BIG JOKE. That's the real issues people are talking about her there-like a little lamb surrender to a lion.  Her previous manager did try before, but failed. They asked something else first.   
oh, Nugu or Dugu means who in Korean.  so funny, people are arguing why they went to IKEA, the original poster said she didn't mention about furniture, but people know what IKEA is all about. Anyway , I think Dahae is buying a new house, a new investment-to me it's normal, if you have money and business minded, buying properties in China is a must nowdays.
