Having read all the above threads,I've my own personal opinion of a failed and low rating drama.First, the STORYLINE is very very important.Then, the directing by a capable director and chemistry among the actors come in next. The rest like costumes and settings should fall in smoothly in tune with the story                                                                                                                                 Having said that, an actor must read thro' the script thoroughly before signing on the dotted line.Our JM has to hasten to regain better viewership in her next project. I realise that there are lots of young up and coming K stars in the market now. They are good as I've watched some ongoing dramas featuring them.As age is catching up, I  hope JM selects various roles such as a tough ,stubborn and bitchy lady and not that we always see her as a docile and distressed one.          She needs exposure in the different roles to surge forward if she wants to maintain her popularity. Of course I would want JM to continue in the top acting league as long as possible

Since some sharing views here, let's me share my opinion. I also think HJMe is not that good one with flaw. She'll has her own reason for choosing HJMe. I think too that for the drama, actors actresses only see the script in general. Most drama start with a few beginning episode given, and these days the channel and production like to change the plot and even writers in between  airing live shooting. HJMs initial was to be romantic comedy but they kind of change the storyline and new writer very little experience,  the script mess up so wasn't romantic comedy like the webtoon after a few episodes. The storyline writing is very important. But Ji min did her best to the script she had given. 

 

 I find most of projects Ji min 's chose and played quiet a versatile range of characters throughout her career. In her early rookie period of course as a new comer and young age she got the offer of bubbly cheerful typical girl like resurrection and great inheritance. After that she gradually got the versatile roles. In Yi san she had a lot of screentime,  Cain and Abel she acted as a N korean refugee with accent which she changed and played well. Detective K was her breakthrough transformation as a sexy female fatale like korean Sherlock homme type, during that time those ent news programme said it was a surprise and  interesting to see her changes character in detective k,and the box office was high,as top 5 that year. I think after detective k, she played a versatile roles and genres. Padam padam was melodrama, one of my favourite,  portrayed  well as a stubborn and charismatic veterinarian. Then jumped to a romantic comedy, Park Ha was a loyal, cheerful lovable one with a development in her plot and character to show her acting. They said rooftop prince was the turning point where she boast her international flame and recognition. In the fatal encounter though she didn't have a very long screen time but her roles is an important one, vallain mean charismatic step grandmother is kind of unique. Plan man also a different one, a indie spunky free spirit band singer and play guitar. But Hajina kind of  flop,the storyline writing was a problem, no development and focus on her characters. Though Hajina didn't do well that doesn't mean all her works or characters was like that, actually she had played quiet a versatile characters. And it's almost impossible for every top actors that all their works are successful and positive feedback. I think after HJMe it make Ji min more careful in choosing next projects, and it's not bad to have some obstacles to makes stronger learn sth for better next and feel the essence of success when time come. It is good to hear Ji min unnie accepts the Secret Agent, sound promising with the  action movie new role of the female independence fighter, great production and casts.

HJN can be concised as just a movie. The plot is weak as most times the story is only based on the kidnapping and the to and fro of communication between SeoJin and Robin in the computer room. The course of 20  episodes is really uncalled for. Viewers get bored as repeated flash back of epi and events are shown. No wonder the rating of the drama was only given 3 stars as against 5.               Had it been made into a movie, I think there won't be so much of a bombardment from the viewers and critics.                    I think the reasons why stars prefer to act in dramas as oppose to movies is because dramas are shown overseas over the cable TV and they are exposed to overseas viewers.We hardly see a k-movie over cable except over the net.  Yes scripts can be changed as the story develops but ultimately the gist of the plot is still there. A good story drama should set a viewer to want to continue to watch the next episode and next without getting bored. The story should entertain the viewers and set the mood for wanting more.

I still remember when Ji min onnie went to Paris for Lancome event, she also did photoshoot for Elle. Haven't seen it yet, I guess it's coming soon on the magazine, can't wait to see her beauty.

Glad to know that JM has lots of activities lining up for her. chinggus for the updated and beautiful  photos of JM. Her mid-length hair style suits her petite

size.   Makes her look youthful and fresh.     I like it as against the long hair that accentuates her age.
