Geezzzz. Sailor Moon? So OLD! Haha It was the second anime I ever got into (Pokemon being the first). My sister was obsessed with it! Some time last year, I tried rewatching it in Japanese but the voices sounded soooo weird. Dub back then wasn't so bad (or at least, it didn't appear so). I enjoyed the series, though I wasn't happy when they wouldn't show the last season. Grrrrrr.

no offense to darian lovers, but after re reading the manga and rewatching some episodes (skipped to my fav ones XD) i actually found him pretty plain and a ordinary guy.he was pretty useless/helpless too. i mean this whole jumble catastrophe happened just because salior moon just had to fall in love with this earth guy..lolol. i don't think he is worthy of princess serenity. she could do better lol

anyways i always love the villians of each arc!! they're all unique and coolio =p

I thought the same! He was okay at first, but later...meh. My sister was in love with him, but something about him was off. I just felt like he needed too much rescuing.

I love the game! I think that was the first game I ever finished! I admit I cheated a bit. Made much use of the save feature on emulators. XD I also liked all the other games they have (the fighting and puzzle ones). My cousin, sister, and I would often play against each other.

I remember coming home for lunch and watching Sailor Moon on YTV. That was probably in the first grade. Wow. Sailor Venus is my favourite, hands down.

Good memories ~ Tuxedo Mask was my first crush but I hated Darrien. Everyone used to tell me they were the same person but as a stubborn 7 year old I never listened. The emulator games were my favorite. For some reason Sailor Moon/Serena/Usagi was like my role model growing up but after re watching the series on winter break, she was such a crybaby! Forever meatball head <3 I remember teasing the guys in my class who watched sailor moon. They all seemed to like Amy while the girls liked Rita.

My friend only watched the english dubbed and when I told her about all the content that was downplayed she cried about how I ruined her childhood memories. : )

I loved Sailor Moon a lot, well i c even say that i was obsessed. Got so many goodies of the anime series, some went lost but i still have some things. Anyways greatest anime ever for me =D (at least when we talk about girls transforming into heroines).

My favourite Character was Serenity =D cause she is much much better then Usagi itself, well also if she is Usagi in some way. I like the power she had and self confidence, Usagi is the whole opposite. =)

I don't know if this is thread is strictly for the anime, and this is not exactly breaking news, but the manga's going to be re-released with new English translations in the fall! This is super exciting for English speaking fans, because the older Tokyopop editions have been out of print for a while. Woohoo!

Yep! Just heard the news!That's super awesome!And they're going to stick with their Japanese names too. (I still cringe to this very day to hear Serena/Damien's names, sorry, not a fan)So freaking excited.I don't live in the US, I'm from Canada, so I`ll have to wait till they release the BluRay verson.

^ It's gonna be weird listening to them say their Japanese names in English. I was so used to them saying Serena or Darien or Amy or Mina, etc in English since I saw this anime in like elementary school. Although, the first time I saw SM was when I was like 5 and it was in Cantonese Chinese.

^Looks nice. Did they show any trailer yet for this new Sailor Moon series? Has anyone watched the dubbed version from Hulu or NeonAlley? What do you guys think of it.

I didn't get to read the manga until Kodasha released it. And man, Naoko Takeuchi is just awesome. Usagi is sooooo pretty in the manga especially when she's dressed as the princess of the moon!

^ Not yet. Vivi is going to have a premiere event on 6/30 which is Usagi's birthday. Okay, I just checked on Hulu and so far they are only showing the subbed version. I am only rewatching it for Jadeite though. He and Zoisite are my favorite villains from the first season.

The official website for the 20th anniversary of the Sailor Moon franchise announced on Friday that there will be an advance premiere screening event for the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. The women's fashion magazine ViVi is collaborating on the June 30 event to celebrate the heroine Usagi's birthday.

^LOOKS NICE! I love the remastered art of Sailor Moon. It's like so similar to manga. No wonder Naoko Takeuchi sounds so proud of it

^ Haha Well, Naoko Takeuchi did work closely with the animators this time compared to when she was still drawing Sailor Moon manga and had no say in the anime at all. I just hope that the SMC anime will have more seasons afterwards. One of my favorite characters, Sailor Cosmos never made an appearance in the Sailor Stars season which made me mad.
