It's her eyes!!! I remembered her response to one interview about acting in China when she first started and didn't know the language, she said she had to compensate what the mouth or speaking she cannot do or control (dubbed) with something else - her facial expression and her eyes most importantly! Why would South Korea limit her in so-called "Candy-type" characters when JNR can offer so much more!!! Eun Ha Soo is coming alive for me after catching up with Mr. Baek with subs. Even though some will say it's the dime a dozen kind hearted, hardworking girl type. Although I tend to ship her with Lee Joon's character more than Shin Ha Kyun. That's my personal preference :x Her baby face shouldn't make writers limit her to the character type. They can cast her in young aged characters - I will never argue with that cause she never looked past 20 something for me. But in this world, we do have 20 something's who have complex stories to tell as well - bring it on!! Jang Nara-ssi is jjang enough - nay, make that more than jjang enough to take on any role that requires equally jjang acting!

Guest OreoVampire
I remember in her Healing Camp interview they mentioned her "pupil acting" where she acts with her eyes. She's a pro at it. But I agree with you the Korean writers tend to limit her character type to what she looks like whereas in China she acts in a range of genres. That's why I'm so happy with Old Goodbye. It was a good melodrama and she really proved herself. I loved the divorce scene most of all. I'd love to see her in a revenge based K drama. *praying a little prayer here* @oatshin Chingu I go with your sentiment! Yes! She nailed it! A top notch acting from JNR sshhii wooohoooo

Mimilee2014
Thanks lindahz and bjharm for the info. It's just that when I watched the HT episode with the Iris 2 cast LDH kept on referring to him as oppa so I thought they had a much deeper friendship compared with JNR. pinaycliza
@Mimilee2014 Lee Da Hae who?!! ) no i'm just kidding. there might be an LDH fan here too. Well now i think JNR has a deeper friendship with JH, don't you think?!

anopinion
I don't think there's a need to compare though. You might love the Jiang couple but does it matter if LDH is actually closer in real life? We don't need them to be the best of friends or anything. I'm saying this because sometimes the shipping mentality means that shippers insist on their OTP having the closest friendship ever and it may be disturbing at times. Like I've seen people on FTLY Baidu accounting for why JNR held SHK's hand and listing out various reasons how the 2 of them are actually not as close as JNR and JH were, which was really amusing if I may say so. Well, now I sound like a spoilsport. But anyway, since JH is married, you'll likely see more actresses call him sunbaenim instead of oppa. In more private circumstances it'll be awkward to call sunbaenim so they'll address him more intimately. I must say again though, we shouldn't lose any brain cells over this.
