She tried to cause HW to abort a few times, that was attempted murder. Well, the foetus is not a life in some US states and in many countries, but it would have injured HW if succeeded. 

As I have said her crimes did not start with JC’s death. 

If your theory works @LeftCoastOppa it would be her last.

 

But being what she is, I think she will regain her memory quickly and she will continue faking it while continuing with her revenge.
 

Poor HW who seems to be turning into some Pollyanna will have to fight her in the house and CJE outside. The preview showed her screaming CJE for her baby. I cannot see that leap. Someone who took her child could be any of JC’s family but his mistress?

The preview suggests that the BMW guy may be more than making a guest appearance - my first guess. So JC is not coming back as the philandering Chairman’s long lost son? 
 

I wonder why the Chairman is suddenly such a devoted father. He could not care less about his son’s feelings when he brought BDE home. I think he is peed that she fooled him.

It’s not even halfway and they had killed off the SML.

After watching with subs, it seems clear the plan as far as Chairman Romeo was concerned was betray HJ to JC at the hotel and let him have the satisfaction of turning her over to the police. I think JC and possibly Grandma changed up the plan to murder with the help of the double agent secretary who we now know is working for Grandma. 

 

Since the police never showed up, and HJ got hit by a truck instead, JC couldn't be at the site because it would look like attempted murder (which it actually was) so I believe the secretary moved the body, and was the one that made the mystery phone call from JC's phone.  Add to it, the preview now citing a suicide note, which is an obvious cover.

 

 

 

It was billed as a tragedy at the start, and so far its delivering.

 

 

 

He fell - made a sudden stop at the pavement - bled profusely - then laid in the forest overnight - got picked over by forensics - and doctors - and will undergo an autopsy ... I think he's dead ... he may come back in flashbacks - otherwise they would have had to pay off almost half the town just to keep it a secret.

 

As for CJE, I think we're gonna find out she had something to do with Goofy ML's former love's death ... you heard it here first.

 

 

 

 

 

Well Hye Won did hope that this was all a nightmare ...

 

 

 

Going forward ...

 

I'll venture a guess HJ wakes up a changed woman - while the others treat her with the suspicion she deserves, she will start to live a relatively trauma free life.  Her amnesia will likely render her unfit to stand trial, so no jail time (yet).  I see her slowly (very slowly) winning almost everyone over including Hye Won. Near the end, she will regain her memory and having lived a happy albeit brief life with loved ones including her sister, she will confess to killing JC in self defense, which of course Hye Won will refuse to believe, yet this time HJ will do nothing, and go quietly to jail.  Goofy ML will some how figure out the conspiracy to kill Hye Won, and prove somehow it was self defense. Hye Ji is freed, the bad guys go to jail - the sisters make peace - and BAM!  ... Crazy Aunt is made CEO of YJ Group.

 

 

I expect this result fondly.

So the medical examiner determines that JC was either in a car wreck or fell to his death ... but then they say they found a suicide note blaming Hye Won for having an affair which drove JC to kill himself ... even though he himself had an affair first. So, if JC killed himself then how did he end up in the woods?  He didn't fall there, and there was no car wreck nearby ... we're getting a time jump next episode so they better not just gloss over this.

 

The police aren't the only ones in todays episode on the sketchy side. The hospital let Grandma take HW's baby without her consent, and when HW went to the hospital and demanded answers they just had security stop her and the doctor ran away.   Now at the end of the episode Goofy ML threatens Grandma for kidnapping the child so we'll see what happens. We get a scene after an obvious time jump as, Hye Wons son now looks 5 or 6.

 

 

It looks like Hye Ji truly has amnesia, from the dream like memories of being happy with Hye Won, it looks like for the time being Hye Ji has lost her edge. It'll be interesting to see what she's up to after what looks like a 5-6 year time jump. 

 

 

Per preview, it looks like this is about to turn into a corporate war at YJ Group - the new mystery man is back.

We saw that he struggled with Miss Heffalump  and fell out of the window. 
And @LeftCoastOppa  if she could fight off 6 ft tall JC, giving a tap to a little old lady is guaranteed to cause major injury like death.

 

There was no way JC could move to the hills where a healthy man was seen to huff and puff when climbing it. Someone made the call to the escort company man. He would have moved JC’s body to the hills. Soon we will find out because the are cctvs in park. Also his accomplice must have typed the note.

Todays episode was packed so full of ridiculous plot reveals and nonsensical decisions it feels like we just got a change in writers.  Buckle Up ... is time jump time 

 

- Grandma is dead via illness

 

- Chairman Romeo is in prison due to slush fund scandal

 

- Hye Won is president of YJ Group

 

- Mystery Man is Jace Lee, Investment Banker, a former boyfriend of Hye Won when she was in the states

 

-The JC murder/suicide arc

This was what I was afraid they try - the police know he didn't die in the forest, yet through narrative reveals apparently during the time jump, JC's death was allowed to be covered up as a suicide.  Additionally, Hye Won & Chairman Romeo know Hye Ji pushed him out the window without ever once revealing how they came to know that.

So via post time jump flashbacks, apparently Grandma ... who loathed Hye Won ... allowed her to come back not only into the family and live with her son, but installed her into YJ group after Chairman Romeo's ouster, so long as she kept her mouth shut about what really happened with JC

 

 

 

 

Back to the present.

 

- Hye Ji still has amnesia

 

- The golddigger couple now work for Hye Won keeping an eye on HJ - they live in Dads old house with HJ

 

- Aunt lives with Hye Won/Son & Crazy Aunt in the Yoon Mansion

 

- Goofy ML has cleaned up and is the corporate lawyer for YJ Group ... still crushing on Hye Won

 

- Ji Eun is also still at YJ Group and is leading the charge in trying to have Hye Won ousted.

Apparently the writer did change. From Kim Kyung-Hee, to MYNEST5025. Now it's Jin Yu-Ri.

Grandma barely tolerated Hye Won, thought of her as an undeserving peasant, and that was BEFORE Hye Ji got exposed.

 

No way she lets her back in the house let alone plug her into the corporate hierarchy.

HJ acting like new character (She feels like a supporting sister character now) and is no longer the mistress of Chairman Romeo? Huh?? HY's mom acting like a decent parent? Why? Grandma dies off-screen? What is the point? Is Ji Eun, the new SFL? Did the writers decide to just reboot the show mid-season? This totally fels like a new drama

Yes, the new SML is the mystery man that we first saw at Hye Won's car crash - It appears now he is a former bf from Hye Won's time abroad in the states, and he seems to be returning to Korea to aide Hye Won in her fight with the YJ Group board.

 

I think he will turn out to be a villain - in the initial reveal, we see him pleading with Hye Won to stay in the states "for love" however at the time Hye Won refused because they were barely making it, and she wanted more from her life.  FFWD, he's now successful and an investment banker, so I could see him rubbing it back in her face ... now I don't want love its all business ... He will no doubt at some point ally with Ji Eun, and try to take the company. 

 

Per preview, he is already asking Hye Won to fire Goofy ML

The guy was having flashbacks but none was on the day HJ tried to kill HW.
