It gained criticism from the audiences when Eun Jae comes back as So Hee by drawing a mole on her left cheek and everyone fails to recognize her as Eun Jae. Other characters also believe that So Hee is not Eun Jae because of the different personalities. Eun Jae was sweet and friendly, while So Hee is mean and ruthless. Dami is Seol-A (Penthouse) A high school student that gets murdered and starts the revenge story.

Do-Hyuk is basically Na Wang-Sik (Last Empress) A man seeking revenge for his family.

Matthew Lee/Shim Ju-Seok is Ju Dan Tae (Penthouse) Psycho Billionare that wants more money and power.

Geum LaHui is Cheon Seo-Jin (Penthouse) A woman that is just greedy with power and money

Han Mone is Oh Yoon-Hee/Joo Seok-Kyung (Penthouse) A morally gray character that will eventaully be redeemed.

Not with these ratings, season 2 is only because they started early.

"7 Escapes, War For Survival ... and Cast With 9 Lives"

 

Dead?  Don't worry.   Be back in a few episodes.  I'm waiting for Dae Mi and Grandpa to show up; with an iced beverage in hand.  And, chatting about which Disneyland ride they liked better.

 

The best scene was when Dae Mi's mother was fighting with K/Matthew.   She was so good when she kicked him in the balls and throwing a tantrum on the sofa.  I think the cast must be having a lot of fun with the ridiculous over the top acting.

DH and KT will survive the 50 storey fall, no doubt about it. Death occurs when people achieve terminal velocity while falling but not this two. Together with kdrama IV, they will be as good as new.
 

They and DM’s father will use Luca to fight Matthew whose loyal father is now dead. He will only have the amoral 6 plus his paid henchmen but they will not be loyal like sec. Goo.

 

I predict MN will end up with CEO JM, with HN as a family. She has abandoned DH to die, that’s too much. DM is most likely alive, DH will end up with her. Michelle may be a possible lovelady but DH will be a rich young man, and DM a rich young woman. MN already has too much history. Apart from Geum, the others are quite ok, opportunists at most times. The Gynae is overtly greedy, adulterous and had also pushed Bang of a bridge. But the actress made her funny, she should spend her life on an island with the policeman. Poor.
 

This show was purposely made corny. The James Bond with mirrors and music scene!! Geez.

“The Escape Of The Seven: Resurrection” Cast Impresses At Script Reading + CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin Joins Cast

 

The long-awaited Season 2 of SBS’s revenge drama “The Escape of the Seven” has shared a sneak peek of the first script reading!

 

Season 2 of the hit 2023 drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which told the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will depict the counterattack of the seven people, who returned from hell, against new evil that held hands with Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon). Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, and more will be reprising their roles, while CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin will newly join the cast for Season 2.

 

At the script reading, writer Kim Soon Ok as well as lead actors Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, Yoon Tae Young, and Lee Jung Shin attended and showcased their passionate acting.

 

The actors immersed into their characters—Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon), Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum), Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon), Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi), Cha Joo Ran (Shin Eun Kyung), Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon), Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee), Nam Chul Woo (Jo Jae Yoon), and Kang Ki Tak (Yoon Tae Young)—and portrayed the upgraded tension and chemistry.

 

On top of this, Lee Jung Shin, who joined Season 2 as the new character Hwang Chan Sung, also captures attention. Hwang Chan Sung is the CEO of SAVE, the No.1 company in the portal site industry. Hwang Chan Sung appears to be picky and cold on the outside, but he is kind and affectionate toward the woman he loves. He is expected to act as the key player in the success of Matthew Lee’s grand plan.

The new season of “The Escape of the Seven” will be returning to the small screen soon!

 

Season 2 of the hit 2023 drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which told the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will depict the counterattack of the seven people, who returned from hell, against new evil that held hands with Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon). In addition to the original cast members reprising their roles, CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin will newly join the cast for Season 2.

 

The newly released teaser captures the desperate yet powerful collaboration of the seven main characters. Along with the introduction of a mysterious figure who is rewatching the videos of Bang Da Mi’s (Jung Ra El’s) death, there is a white board with the text, “Beasts deserving to die,” as well as the acts of wrongs committed by the seven, raising questions about who the person seeking revenge could be.

 

Furthermore, the teaser previews the evil deeds of Matthew Lee continuing as he warns, “You all can’t refuse my orders,” to the remaining six. The preview teases the anxious actions of the six including Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon) and Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee), who become a fake couple for some reason, and Nam Cheol Woo (Jo Jae Yoon), who comes running at Matthew Lee’s call.

 

Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi) further resolves, “I’ll use the rest of my life to kill you,” and a clip previews Matthew Lee being strangled by someone. Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum) similarly vows revenge. The teaser ends with Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon) confidently making his entrance at Tiki Taka’s lobby as someone remarks, “Min Do Hyuk. Even his entrance is extraordinary.”
