○…일본에서 인기를 얻고 있는 여가수 윤하(사진)가 27일 서울 청담동 카페 원스인어블루문에서 디지털 싱글 발매를 기념하는 쇼케이스를 열었다. 윤하의 디지털 싱글 타이틀곡은 피아노 콘셉트의 ‘오디션’. 파워풀한 피아노 사운드가 돋보이는 이 곡은 초·중학생 시절 꿈을 안고 오디션에 참가했던 자신의 이야기를 그린 노래다. 이날 윤하는 쇼케이스 현장에서 직접 피아노를 연주하며 여러 신곡을 소개했다. 윤하는 지난 19일 일본 도쿄 시부야에 위치한 시부야 박스에서 첫 단독 콘서트 ‘프레셔스’를 가진 바 있다.

○…자미로콰이, 조지 마이클, 오아시스 등 해외 유명 가수들의 데뷔 시절부터 최근까지 히트곡을 모은 베스트 음반이 국내에서 발매됐다. 자미로콰이의 ‘하이 타임즈: 싱글스 1992∼2006’는 그의 대표곡 17곡과 함께 신곡 2곡을 담고 있다. ‘애시드 재즈’의 탄생을 알린 첫 싱글 ‘웬 유 고너 런’에서 신곡 ‘런어웨이’까지 발표 순으로 수록됐다. 1980년 이후 영국 라디오 최다 방송횟수 기록을 비롯해 총 8000만장의 음반 판매를 올린 조지 마이클은 그룹 왬 시절의 히트곡 ‘라스트 크리스마스’부터 ‘페이스’ 등 솔로 시절 각종 차트 1위에 오른 곡까지 총 29곡을 담은 베스트앨범을 냈다. 영국 록밴드 오아시스도 멤버들이 직접 선곡한 18곡을 앨범으로 내놓았다.

○…음반 제작·유통사 도레미미디어가 유명 유통업체와 의류 제조 및 판매 업체 등 4곳을 매장에서 음원을 무단으로 사용했다는 이유로 형사고소했다. 도레미미디어는 “해당 업체 4곳을 상대로 음원 무단사용 및 저작권료 미지불 건에 대한 고소장을 지난 17일 서울중앙지검에 제출했다”고 28일 밝혔다. 도레미미디어는 “이 업체들은 매장에서 음악을 틀어주려면 저작권법상 저작인접권자에게 음원 사용을 허락받고 정당한 보상을 해야 한다”면서 “하지만 저작인접권자인 도레미미디어로부터 어떤 허락도 받지 않았고 음원 사용료 지불도 없었다는 점이 법에 위배된다”고 주장했다.

'오리콘 혜성' 윤하가 일본활동을 하며 만난 보아 덕에 용기를 얻었다며 감사의 뜻을 밝혔다.

윤하는 27일 오후 2시 서울 청담동 카페 원스인어블루문에서 디지털 싱글 발매기념 쇼케이스를 갖고 본격적인 한국활동을 시작했다. 이날 쇼케이스에 윤하는 싱글 타이틀곡 ‘오디션’과 ‘기다리다’를 선보이며 피아노 실력과 가창력을 유감없이 발휘했다.

이날 쇼케이스에서 윤하는 "일본활동을 하며 보아 선배의 공연도 많이 봤다. 특히 일본어 실력과 노래 실력에 놀라 더 열심히 해야겠다는 생각을 했다"며 "일본에서 굉장히 외로웠을 때 '뮤직스테이션' 대기실에서 만났는데 좋은 말씀을 많이 해주셔서 큰 힘이 됐다"고 감사의 뜻을 밝혔다.

이어 윤하는 "보아 선배가 특히 피아노 잘 치는 것에 대해 칭찬해 주셔서 큰 용기를 얻었다"며 "나는 악기를 다루고 선배님은 춤을 잘 추신다. 서로의 장점이 있다고 생각하기에 나는 내 장점을 믿고 앞으로 열심히 활동할 것"이라고 굳은 각오를 밝혔다.

또 윤하는 "일본에서 활동할 때 처음에는 말도 안 통하고 불편한 게 많았지만 그간 적응을 했다. 하지만 이제 다시 한국에서 시작하기에 완전 신인이다. 이것저것 많이 배워가려고 한다"고 말했다.

이와 함께 윤하는 "내 매력은 목소리와 피아노라 생각한다"며 "오늘 땀도 많이 나고 긴장해서 실수도 많이 했지만 앞으로 많이 연습해서 더 좋은 모습 보여주겠다"며 팬들의 기대를 당부했다.

윤하는 1988년생으로 일본에서 발매한 싱글 ‘호키보시’(혜성)가 일본 최고 권위의 음반차트인 오리콘 차트에서 12위에 오르면서 ‘오리콘 혜성’이라는 별명을 얻었다. 특히 윤하는 피아노 연주와 파워풀한 보컬이 환상적으로 조화를 이룬 ‘피아노 록’이라는 새로운 장르를 선보였다.

Younha (Japanese: ユンナ, Yunna, Korean: Go Youn-ha), born April 29, 1988 in Seoul, Korea, is a J-Pop singer. She does have one Korean single, but has yet to officially debut in Korea.

Younha started playing the piano at the age of 4. Younha has released seven singles and one album so far, and an eighth single is slated for release in September, 2006. Her first single, "Yubikiri", contains her only two Korean songs, and was used during the J-Drama series Tokyo Wankei. Her third single was the Bleach anime's 3rd ending theme, "Houkiboshi" ("Comet"). Also on the single "Houkiboshi" was the song Omoide ni Dekinai, used as the ending theme to the movie Tenshi ga Orita hi. Younha also acted in the movie Tenshi ga Orita hi. Younha's debut album included the songs Orenji no Hatsukoi and My Lover, both used in the Game Cube game Bleach GC: Tasogare Ni Mamieru Shinigami.

Her single "Te wo Tsunaide" is used as the ending theme for the anime series Jyu Oh Sei. She is relatively new to the J-pop scene and is signed to Sony Records in Japan. Her upcoming awaited new single "Hakanaku Tsuyoku" the 2nd opening theme of the anime series Kiba will be releasing end of October.

Although she is compared to BoA (because she is a Korean who is active in Japan, speaks Japanese well, and is also one of the few Koreans to rank on the Oricon chart) her style differs greatly in both her music and performance.

Younha also began to compose music recently. The song Kaerimichi released on her sixth single, "My Lover" is the first song released which she wrote the lyrics to and composed the music for. In addition, she composed the music for the song homegirl, released on her single, "Te wo Tsunaide".

Her most recent single, "Ima ga Daisuki (今が大好き)" and its B-side, "Inori", are the opening and ending themes for Shoujo Jang Geum no Yume (Jang Geumi ei Kkoom). Currently, Younha still goes back and forth between Korea and Japan, and she debutted in Korea on 5th October 2006.

Her next single "Hakanaku Tsuyoku" is currently airing as the Opening theme track of Ki-Ba and is releasing on the 17th of January 2007. It includes another track called "Aitai".

Born in South Korea to music loving parents, Younha began to play the piano at the age of 4. She developed an interest in Japanese Drama and began to teach herself Japanese. Before long, she was skilled enough to interpret to her school friends what would happen on Japanese television. What began as an interest in Japanese dramas developed into an interest in Japanese music. At the recommendation of an older student in her school's broadcasting club, she listened to such artists as Utada Hikaru and Misia and soon began to like Japanese music. Younha began to dream about debuting as singer alongside her favorite artists.
